Life is unfair and people will only want you as much as they can use you after that you are as good as garbage to them, Vansh learned this lesson at a very early stage of his life. So, to achieve what you want in life you will have to fight tooth and nail or play dirty whatever it takes and that is what he will always do.

Vansh was standing in a room where all the old family portraits were kept, from the start of his great-great- great grandfather to till now. But his attention was riveted on a specific portrait of 6 people. That was a portrait of his grandfather, grandmother, dad, mother, him and his sister. He felt disgusted looking at the picture as he remembered his past.

“The Singhania’s” were filthy rich family from many generations, an “old money” as they say. Aadarsh Singhania was an only child of Udayan and Chandrika Rai Singhania, conceived late due to complications during his mother’s pregnancy. He was pampered a lot; he was used to getting everything before he asked for it. Which resulted in him being a spoilt, spendthrift and philanderer. By the time Udayan Singhania realised what was happening it was too late. He tried to do some damage control by trying to be strict, cutting on his allowance but then he always got help from his too emotional mother. 

Growing frustrated his father decided to get him married so will he be tied down by the responsibility and it was a good business deal to secure his son’s future, and so he got married to Brinda Jaiswal a girl from a wealthy family. Everything was going alright for a year, Aadarsh joined the office, helped his father in business, but then one day Brinda found out about the affair he had with his secretary. It was a big embarrassment for Singhania Family. They got divorced in two months. His grandfather removed the secretary from the office, for Aadarsh, he was a free bird again where he can bed whoever he wants without consequences.

 After a year Udayan and Chandrika Singhania received one more shock. The secretary came back claiming she was pregnant, had a baby and the father was none other than Aadarsh Singhania who plainly refused to any such claims. Udayan was about the banish the woman when Chandrika questioned what if that really is our blood? 

Udayan decided to do the DNA. It was proved that it indeed was Aadarsh’s child. It was a boy. For the first time after so many years, Udayan and Chandrika were happy. When his mother threatened them about taking a child away. They decided to marry her to his Son, and the day after Aadarsh got married to Uma and bought their child home. His grandfather named him Vansh.

After this, he kept a tight leash on both Uma and Aadarsh making sure they do not create any more scandalous situations. A year and a half passed, and his sister was born. Even though they had two children now Aadarsh and Uma never cared about them. For Uma, Vansh was a one-way ticket to Rai Singhania Family and Ishani was an unplanned mistake. Their Grandparents kept Mrs.Dsouza to look after the children as it is, they were not getting younger and their parents were not responsible enough to look after them. They joined the best schools had the best of everything other than parental love.

When he was 9, his grandfather made his parents adopt a 6-year-old handicapped girl child, Siya to hide all the rumours about Uma and Adarsh’s affairs and to strengthen the image of Singhania Family.

When Vansh was 11 years old his grandfather died making his father sole owner of the company and that day the downfall of Singhania empire started. Uma was clever and as she already worked with him before she knew Aadarsh was not competent enough to take care of anything.

She was already having an affair with a big film director and she wanted a chance to work in a film. She decided to divorce Aadarsh. He did not mind as it is, he had his flings and he never wanted to get stuck in a relationship. His grandmother begged them to think about it give their relationship one more chance, they have children, who will look after them. Both did not pay any heed to the old woman’s plea.

Vansh did not have any hopes from his parents, as a young boy, he craved for their love and attention, especially his mother but one day when he walked in on his father with of the housemaid and got the beating of this life, his mother did not interfere. He started hating his parents. 

Vansh was very self-reliant, but it was Ishani who took this blow the hardest. She kept crying after their mother left home which made Vansh mad instead of consoling her he started avoiding her and slowly they drifted apart.

Their financial condition started deteriorating, one day suddenly his dad announced about getting married to Anupriya. The maid of the house with whom he saw his father and got beaten black and blue. Anupriya bought her brothers family home. Rudra and Chanchal Shukla came to Singhania Mansion with their son Aaryan.

Chandrika Singhania kept quiet in all this looking at everything unfold in front of her and praying to God every day to show some way out of this misery. She tried to give love and care as much as she could to three of them but by then Vansh started hating everyone and Ishani developed an attitude which showed everyone was below her, only Siya kept her company being the orphan and getting singled out. Two years went peacefully and finally, the house of cards collapsed.

Singhania Family lost every damn penny, everything was auctioned their home, cars, jewellery, multiple properties. No one came to their aid, no relatives, no colleagues. His dad could not take such a huge loss and faced a massive heart attack. He died that day leaving his mother, wife and three children on the road. His Rudra mama left with his family with whatever money he managed to steal from them while working with Singhania Empires.

Chandrika Singhania never expected that she would see a day in her life where they will lose everything hard-earned by generations. Only she was to blame for this if only she could have controlled her son…. Now all she could do is try to rectify the mistakes by managing these 3 kids future. 

They all left for Delhi where she had a one-room flat in her name, one of the many properties gifted by her parents during the wedding. That was the only house left for them. As they settled in the house, she made sure to admit all three children in the government school. Anupriya started working as a maid again to earn some income but aside from a small amount all of that used to go in her pocket.

One stormy night though everything changed, all were sleeping when they suddenly heard some commotion, two guys with hoodie came to rob the house, they had knives with them and pushed all of them on the floor while searching for everything. Vansh who had tolerated everything till now suddenly felt like he could not control his anger anymore as someone threatened him, he felt furious.

“No one can take anything more from us,” he thought as he took hold of the iron rod and slammed it in one of the robber’s head making him die on the spot. Everyone was horrified after that everything was blur…police came arrested him but since he was only 14 and they were bulgers, the court sent him to the rehabilitation centre for 3 years and Jail for 1 year. Siya and Ishani were taken to an orphanage by child labour association as it proved that only Dadi and Anupriya were incompetent to take care of them. That day Vansh swore to himself he will take back everything that is lost.

When Vansh came out at the age of 18, he was a little surprised to see his Dadi standing to collect him. He did not expect that considering his refusal to meet her during rehab days. But now the Vansh that went to that rehab and the one that came out of jail were totally different. This Vansh looked calm and dangerous. There was a coldness in his eyes looking at which his Dadi shuddered.

Vansh started earning money, Dadi never asked him where he got that from and where does he go at night, she just knew he left late at night and came back during the days for few hours to leave again. Now Anupriya did not need to work as Vansh brought money home. Vansh he had made few connections while his stay at the jail and now he was earning money with whatever means required majorly it was from a robbery but sometimes it used to involve the murder of 1 or 2 gang members here and there. He never involved much in that because his major goal was to attain everything lost.

Achieve the did, Today Vansh Rai Singhania was a respectable name in Corporate world. As soon as he achieved everything, he made sure to bring Siya and Ishani back. No, not because he loves them but because he promised he would achieve each and everything lost. His Mama and Mami returned looking at their success and despite Anupriya and Dadi’s protest since he left them during a difficult time, he accepted them cause that was too much fun to have so much power them, watching them squirm under his gaze, fear him and making them bend as per his will. After all, “revenge is the dish best served cold”.

Being one of the Richest Businessman with shady business in the background, no one would dare to lift a finger against him. He has everything today Money, Girls, Cars, Mansions, you name it, he has it. The most influential and powerful person, so why did he always felt something is missing.
