Hi all. This is RandomWaliLadki here. I have written FFs before on other shows. Now I will be finally posting this FF I have been writing for some time. As I was away for a trip I did not get the time to complete it so I decided to publish after I come back from my trip. But my trip got extended and I got excited to post this so I decided to post it anyways.

I will be posting a short FF on RaYa, it will consists of few parts.

Since I have been working on this FF for a while the storyline will be a little different here. Instead of the current Vedika track, this FF will be continued from the Diwali track(where Ram made Priya 5% shareholder). This FF will be about what happens a year after RaYa's marriage.

Now the FF begins.

It has a year since Priya and Ram got married. Priya and Ram's equation evolved since then. They bonded over the one year and also started to understand each other!

Ram was there to support Priya and her family whenever they were facing financial issues and found out ways to help them and this did not went unnoticed by Priya.

Scene 1: RaYa's bedroom

Ram is talking on the phone and Priya comes there.

Priya: Mr Kapoor you promised that you will not hide things from me!

Ram: What have I hide?!

Priya: I know very well that you were the one who talked to the banker regarding the loan!

Ram: 22% interest is too much Priya!

Priya: No, I am not talking about that! I am talking about how you got Sara Dii the loan that too with almost no interest!

Ram: Oh that...

Priya: 22% interest...wait so you were the one who got the interest waived off!

Ram: Look Priya I can explain!

Priya: You don't have to explain!

Ram: Why are you glaring like I cheated on you?!

Priya: No it's not that. You know right I don't like to always take your help! I could have handled these matters!

Ram: I know you could have...See Priya we are husband-wife, and not to forget you told me few days back I am your friend too! So as a friend and husband I just did a small thing! And also I just waived off the interest not the entire loan!

Priya: But still...

Ram: Look Priya, Meera Maa she is like my mother to me and I cannot see her worried all the time!

Ram tells Priya how he read the files she kept on the table and realized something was missing. He talked with a lawyer and then he realized that the bank is not suppose to charge them such a high percentage of interest. So Ram talked to the bank owner about this and got things sorted out.

Ram: So, all my intention was to make sure you and your family don't have to pay for things you don't have to, for some reason this thing went unnoticed by both the bank and your family.

Priya: I...I didn't know this actually...I am so sorry I scolded you for no reason...I promised I will scold you less.

Ram: It's okay Priya, chill! And also I know you don't like to take my help, because you feel bad, you want to do something too. Don't worry Priya, I am sure one day that day will come when I will need your help instead. And you don't have to think about this, just leave everything on time.

Priya was surprised how Mr Kapoor could read her mind so well.

Ram: Now if you would excuse me I have a zoom meeting to attend with a client.

Priya nods and Ram goes.

Priya: (in her mind) Mr Kapoor cares so much about my family and he even solved things so easily. Mr Kapoor and being a hero nothing new.That's why Maa pampers him a lot, he knows instantly what worries Maa and my family. If he loves and cares for my family so much, I cannot even imagine how much he loves and cares for his own family.

Priya saw a message on her phone. She got a message that she needed to reschedule an extra class, so she checked the calender when she could schedule that.

Priya: It is Mr Kapoor's birthday!

Priya saw it was one more hour to go for Ram's birthday!

Priya: (in her mind) I got an idea! I should do something for Mr Kapoor on his birthday! But what will he like?

Priya: He loves food and rain but when he eats too much he falls sick and gets too dependent on his pills. Then rain, I don't even know why he enjoys the rain! Sometimes he falls sick but no he still wants to get wet in the rain! Let me call Shivina maybe she knows what he will like for his birthday!

Shivi: Hello Priya Dii!

Priya: Shivina I wanted to ask you something. Actually for Mr Kapoor's birthday

what do you think I should do?

Shivi: What else to do?! Just throw a party! Ram bhai will be happy with that!

Priya: Just that?! Umm... what does he like?

Shivi: He likes anything.

Priya: But I must gift him something!

Shivi: Priya Dii, why are you thinking about this now?! Think about it when his birthday comes! There is still time for that!

Priya: You know when his birthday is right?

Shivi: His birthday is...I can't remember let me ask Shubhu he might know.

Priya: (in her mind) Strange Shivina doesn't know when Mr Kapoor's birthday is?!

Priya: It's okay actually his...

Shivi: Priya Dii I will talk to you later, Akki came back home!

Shivi keeps the phone.

Priya saw Shubhu walking towards his room.

Priya: Shubham?!

Shubhu(annoyed): What!

Priya: Voh Mr Kapoor's birthday I wanted to ask..

Shubhu: You go and ask Ram Bhai when is his birthday don't bother me! I don't know!

Priya: Does Nandini Aunty know when it is?

Shubhu: If I don't know how will mom know?!

Shubham goes to his room

Priya: Strange no one in this family knows when Mr Kapoor's birthday is?!

But Shivina said Mr Kapoor likes party. Yes they need a reason to throw a party and just waste money. Even if I organise a party its so much expensive! But Mr Kapoor likes party! What should I do?! Let me ask Brinda.

Priya called Brinda and she did not regret this time.

Brinda: Yes Priya?

Priya: Voh Brinda actually I wanted to ask something about Mr Kapoor?! His birthday?

Brinda: You want to throw a party for his birthday tomorrow right!

Priya: It's not that...but Mr Kapoor likes parties! And I have no idea how to organise one!

Brinda: Don't worry I am there to help you. We friends were planning to throw a surprise party for him this time, you can help us! It's been very long since last time we celebrated his birthday!We will split the costs!

Priya: Are you sure?!

Brinda: Yes I am!

Priya and Brinda talks to each other and discusses about Ram's birthday! They decided to meet tomorrow to plan for the party!

Next day,

Scene 2: Sara's Cafe

Priya and Brinda meets at Sara's cafe. Sara also helps them with the planning.

Brinda: Okay so I have talked with the guys. Kunal will handle the decorations, Vikrant will handle the catering, buffet with all Ram's fav food. Then Adi will distract Ram and then bring him on time.

Priya: Great! Thank you so much for helping Brinda I didnt know how to organise a party that too in such a short time! I have talked to Sara Dii and Sandy also. Sara Dii will handle the cake, Mr Kapoor loves the pastries made by Sara Dii, and Sandy will help with calling the guests. I will make sure things are done!

Brinda: Anything else?'

Priya: Actually one more thing. I don't know what to gift Mr Kapoor.

Brinda: That is up to you Priya. Honestly Ram is that kind of person you give him anything he becomes happy with that.

Priya: Okay I will think about this. Let's go and get everything prepared. Time is less.

Brinda: Wait Priya there is one more thing you need to do?!

Priya: What?

Brinda: Wear the saree Ram had gifted to you, on your birthday!

Sara: Priya you forgot how Ram said he likes seeing you wearing saree?! Wear this he will love it!

Priya agreed to do so but she is doing all these for Mr Kapoor as it is his birthday today!

At night,

Scene 3: Ram's Office

Ram had just finished work and was about to start on another file!

Adi: Ram! Ram! There is a problem!

Ram: What happened?

Adi: Mehtas want to do a meeting in 30 mins!

Ram: What?! How is that possible?!

Adi: I know right. I told them it's very last minute they didn't agree. They said they need it urgently else they will find some other client.

Ram: No no it will be a huge loss for our company! But 30 mins?!

Adi: Their company is nearer to your house so I told them to come there, they agreed! I asked if they were fine with this location but they said it will be too far!

Ram: Seriously?!

Adi: Just get ready in 5 minutes! I am getting out the car!

Ram nods.

Soon, Adi and Ram went. They reached at Kapoor Mansion.

Scene 4: Kapoor Mansion

As Ram reached home he was surprised to see the arrangements done! It was a party going on!

Ram: Party?

All: Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday dear Ram!

Happy Birthday to you!

The lights turn on. Ram was happy that a surprise birthday party was planned for him! For him! His eyes was shining in happiness. A bright smile appeared on his face. However his eyes was looking for Priya and there she was.

Ram lovingly looked at Priya who wore the black saree he gifted her. She looked stunning! Priya also smiled to him shy.

Nandini: Happy Birthday Ram!(hugs Ram)

Ram: You all remembered?

Nandini: How could we not?! And Shubhu worked so hard for this party , Shivi also invited the guests.

Ram: Thank you Mom that meant a lot!

Sood sisters were surprised at how they stole credit and Ram's friends were used to it anyways.

Brinda: They always do like this! They never do anything for Ram, if Ram or any of us does something they steal the credit.

Brinda tells how Shubhu always stole the credit whenever Ram planned surprises for Shivi or if his friends planned surprises for him.

Priya: But this is not right... You guys don't say anything?!

Brinda: Ram does not like any scene to be created so we have no choice but to stay quiet. I feel useless cause we know how he is treated by his family but we cannot do anything.

Priya: No Brinda its not like that ,infact Mr Kapoor always praised about you guys at least you all remembered about his special day!

Vrinda, Thank you for taking care of him.

Brinda smiles. Ram comes there.

Ram: So what are you two discussing about?

Brinda: Voh Priya needed help for something, I helped her so for that.

Ram: And that is...

Priya: A secret. It's between us girls!

Ram: Okay...

Priya: Mr Kapoor you must be hungry. Let me get you something from the buffet.

Ram: I will get it.

Priya: No way! I know you! You will find a way to get some extra food.

Ram: But it is my birthday!

Priya: I know don't worry I will get a little of everything! And a bit more than usual as it's your birthday!

Ram: Priya..

Priya: Yes?

Ram: Tum aaj bade ache lag rahi ho. Saree suits you a lot.

Priya: (smiling) Thank you...

Brinda gestured Priya that see I told you he will like it!

Priya: I will bring the food!

Priya does so.

Ram: Bri, Priya is so good! She takes care of everything so well! She knows what to do, she doesnt even cares about her own! And Priya, saree suits her so much, and moreover she did not tie her hair! If not her hair is mostly tied meaning fighting mode or she just leaves it open meaning thoda shaant than usual.She looks stunning to be honest!

Brinda hits Ram on his arm.

Ram: Ouch! What was that!

Brinda: You are an idiot!

Ram: What..what have I done?! It's my birthday and you are...

Brinda: Shut up! You have forgotten us your friends these days!

Ram: No Bri nothing like that. The thing is...see I am so sorry. Okay I will tell Kunal to plan a friends' get together somewhere, I will tell Priya to join.

Brinda: Ram nowadays you are talking about Priya only.

Ram: Wait...no...(gets thinking)

Brinda: Wait, are you in love?

Ram: No...I am not in love with Priya?!

Brinda: I did not say Priya's name you did!

Ram: I saw what you did there!

Brinda: Ram! I know what you are feeling. You and Priya honestly you both are perfect for each other! She cares a lot for you Ram, if not why will she do a lot for you, like wearing a saree which she usually does not.

Ram: You may have told her to do so.

Brinda: Yes I may have! But Priya usually refuses. This time she did not! She doesn't like doing such stuff but she did! For you!

Ram: Bri... I know she did all these for me, these party and all that but this doesnt prove anything okay!

Brinda: So you know she organized this party with us!

Ram: Bri after many years besides my friends, there was song of Happy Birthday being sang in this house for me! It used to be for either Shivi or Shubhu. Because I did not have time for mine...after dad's death I did not even have time to think about such things. I even forgot my own birthday so how can I expect Mom , Shivi or Shubhu to recall, but Priya did! And I understood she must have got to know about this when she was reading my medical file, cause she did point it out once. She must have told Mom and Shubhu about my birthday so that's how they know.

Brinda looked at Ram smiling knowing how well he understood Priya. She knew he was speaking half baked truth but it was enough to prove he understood Priya well enough!

Ram: And let's not talk about this if Priya hears this she may not like it.

Priya: What I may not like!

Ram: That I..I...

Priya: Look Mr Kapoor I will not let you finish an entire plate of the Paneer appetizers!

Ram: Yes was talking about that!

Priya: Here I brought a little of all ur fav dishes in this plate.

Priya passes the plate to Ram.

Ram: Thank you!

Just then Kunal makes an annoucement.

Kunal: Ladies and Gentlemen now I would invite our beloved friend the birthday boy Ram and his wife Priya for a short dance!

Ram and Priya looks at each other awkwardly.

Brinda smiles and she forces them to dance and brings them to stage.

Kunal: Now the stage is all yours Ram and Priya Bhabi!

Saiyaaran Song plays. Priya and Ram stand there awkwardly. Ram starts to initiate and dances with Priya.

Ho jaaye jahaan tu jaaye

Paaye mujhe hi paaye

Saaye ye mere hain tujh mein samaaye

Ram: (whispering) I know you are feeling awkward but don't worry I am with you.

Saiyaara main saiyaara, Saiyaara tu saiyaara

Sitaaron ke jahaan mein milenge abb yaara

Priya smiles and dances with Ram happily. She gets more comfortable and starts to dance well making Ram smile.

Saiyaara main saiyaara, Saiyaara tu saiyaara

Sitaaron ke jahaan mein milenge abb yaara

Everyone enjoys their performance and claps for them except for Nandini who fumes seeing Priya and Ram coming closer.

Later,

Shivi is talking with Shubhu and Nandu. Shivi gets a message and screams in happiness. Ram hears this and comes to her

Shivi: Yay! I got a modelling contract!!

Nandini: Modelling contract?

Shivi:Akki had made me try for modelling as I had interest, and I was trying for 2-3 months, and now finally!!!

Shubhu: That's great!!

Ram: Wow Shivi you always wanted to be a model!

Shivi: Yes finally my wish is getting fulfilled!

Shivi hugs Nandini.

Shivi: Shubhu join us.

Shubhu joins too.

Ram is about to join them too but get ignored.

This does not go unnoticed by Priya. She saw how they hugged and ignored Ram and Ram pretended it was fine. Wheras he yearned for it but they did not care.

Sara: I don't understand how on earth that brainless Shubham can be fav of Shivina! As if she doesnt care for Ram at all!

Priya: Sara Dii what are you saying...

Sara: Didn't you see how she ignored Ram. Ram was the one who got her wishes fulfilled even got married so that she can marry Akki, but still this girl talks about this dimlight Shubham. She does not even talk about Ram, except when she needs to get something done. I like Shivi she is a sweet girl but I don't like how she is ignorant about Ram, that brother of hers who did sooo much for her! And Nandini Aunty also doesn't really care about Ram at all as much as she cares for Shubham and Shivina!

Priya: Leave it Sara Dii... It's their personal matter.

Akki comes there.

Shivi: Baby I got a modelling contract!!

Akki: I am sooo happy!!

Akki hugs Shivi.

Shivi: Ram Bhai make sure you get my makeup shipped. I need them now!

Ram: Okay done..

Ram walks away and Priya understood how he felt.

She recalled the time when she was 7 and she did not know much about her dad's nature then. On the way to the temple with her mom, she saw how her dad was carrying and pampering a newborn baby which was Raj and there was a lady beside him. She did not know who the baby was back then she innocently went to hug her dad that time, and her mom tried her to stop her. But when she hugged him instead of pampering her he shoved her away. She bruised her knee and he did not care a bit and was busy with baby Raj. And her stepmom smirked at her and her mom and just went away.

Priya: (in her mind) I have to talk with Nandini Aunty. I know she is not like Sir or his wife, she will understand if I discuss these things with her. She will try to give the motherly love Mr Kapoor is yearning to get and will also convince Shivi and Shubhu to give care and love to their brother too. Its not good how they take him for granted. I will talk to her tomorrow

At night,

Scene 5: Raya's bedroom

Priya was wondering how the trio ignored Ram, and also whatever Brinda and Sara said. Priya was feeling bad for Ram given how much he does for the family and they dont even care that much for him. Or is she thinking too much?

Just then Ram comes there and spots a box wrapped up.

Ram: This?

Priya looks.

Ram sees To Mr Kapoor written and instantly understands its from Priya and its her handwriting moreover.

He finds some friends and family pictures in various frames and also a box with watch.

Ram: Priya these? For me?

Priya: I wasnt sure what to gift you! All I know you love your family the most so I thought you will like this. We can hang these pictures on this wall or keep it on the table arranged. And as for the watch, I remember how you liked it but I didnt let you buy as it was faulty and way above price. This time I brought a functioning watch!

Ram: Wow..all these means a lot to me. Thank you soo much. Let me arrange these right now.

Ram arranges this and tells her about everything while doing so.

Ram: I really wonder where you get all these pictures from! These are all my special memories.

Priya: I took Adi and Brinda's help. They gave me these pictures I asked for , apparently they said some were tough to find but they managed to find one.

Ram: This is my fav , me and dad when we were playing cricket in a picnic! I miss him so much! We would always talk everyday, and he will take me to places I loved visiting every week and we will stop at our fav restaurant and eat as much as we can!

Priya smiles.

Ram: This was when 5 of us graduated from college! It was a great day!

Ram: This was another one 5 of us during Adi and Bri's wedding. We danced a lot that day during barati and also cried a lot, for Bri's bidaai.

Ram: Then these was during Shivi's pyjama party with her friends, she was moody as she did not get her fav cake and snacks her friend had taken this picture and sent it to us.

Ram: Then this was when I handed Shubhu his first car taken in a show room, though he spoiled it in 3 months thats another funny story.

Ram: Then this was when I got the businessman award and mom was there to give me the award.

Ram: And this picture, of me, Shubhu , Shivi and Mom this was taken at a birthday party. Shubhu looks annoyed as he wanted to play PS4, and Shivi busy with which pose to choose. Mom was telling them to behave normally.

One last picture he showed.

Ram: Then this last one is one of my most fav!(showing a picture of RaYa with Meera, Sara and Sandy)

Ram: That day was so fun!

Meera Maa was in mood of a family photo shoot, and she cooked all my fav dishes! We stayed there that night as it was raining heavily.

I enjoyed singing songs with Sara Dii and then watching a movie with Sandy she suggested me some, did not get time to check them out yet. And best was when Meera Maa said she will choose me over you and you got so triggered that you went to the cafe without your purse so you had to come back(starts giggling).

Priya now realized why Ram loved everyone so much, because he was a gem and all he yearned was for some love and attention which her mom n sisters gave him besides his friends and he never got neither of that from his own family.

Ram was continue talking, Priya was feeling so bad for Ram that she immediately went and hugged him tightly, confusing Ram.

After a while,

Priya: (remembers)I am sorry actually...it's late now we should sleep now. And happy birthday once again.

Priya goes to sleep and Ram looks at her surprised. Ram goes to fresh up.

As Ram, takes a picture of these frames he arranged to send to his friends, he finds another one last frame of him and Priya during karwachawth. He is glad he fast for her, and she did too, the situations werent right back then, but still she did this for him.

He then looks at Priya who is sleeping peacefully. He sides her hair which was disturbing her sleep. He recalls how she hugged him tightly and how he felt different when she did that.

Ram: Bri is right! I have indeed fallen in love with Priya...

Precap: Priya and Nandini gets into an argument. Nandini tells Priya that Vedika was Ram's first love shocking Priya!
