3 months later,

Scene 1: RaYa's room

Ram looked at the mirror smiling .

Ram: I have decided. I will confess my love to Priya tonight!

Yes it took three months for Ram to convince himself to confess his love for Priya, as he was scared that she  will kill him 

Priya comes there.

Priya: Mr Kapoor let's go!

Ram nods.

Priya and Ram were in the car and on their way for work. They both alighted down to the institue building. Priya had some lectures today and Ram had an important meeting.

Scene 2: Institute

Ram lovingly looked at Priya.

Priya: How many times I have told you that sleep on time?! Oh yes you are a night owl!

Ram: You know it's my habit right! This is normal!

Priya: No it isn't!

Ram: Priya you know I have international clients right! The timezone issues so I have to attend meetings late night!

Priya: It's not always timezone issues. I noticed you always let the client fix time as per their convenience why can't you just say its too late in India!

Ram: Priya why are you lecturing me instead of your students?

Priya: I am saying these for your well-being. You are just being too nice sometimes. It's necessary to voice out and be strict sometimes.

Ram: Look, Priya we are already late now we are wasting our time here.

Priya: Finally you said a sensible thing!

Ram: Let's go now!

Ram and Priya goes to the building.

Later,

Scene 3: Priya's Class

Priya is teaching her literature class and Ram is busy with the meeting.

Priya: So class can someone tell me when  you feel excited? Any volunteer?

A guy raises her from the backbencher raises her hand.

Priya: Yes Nitesh!

Nitesh:  Mam I feel excited when ... (starts singing) Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. 

The class starts laughing.

Priya looks at them strictly. They keep quiet. After a few seconds, Priya also starts laughing and they are all surprised however they also laugh.

Priya: Bohoti gaanda joke tha Nitesh!

Girl: You are right Mam!

Nitesh smiles shyly. 

Priya: Well it isn't bad but in exam be careful. I maybe considerate but other teachers may not take this well. You have to be professional.

Priya sees another backbencher eating Kachoris. Priya goes to them.  They hide it.

Priya: Kachori?

Guy: I was hungry Mam!

Priya: (smiling) Aur laana chaye tha na! Everyone in the class should have it! Now go down and bring some for the class, and break is starting in 5 minutes anyways!  And here (passing some money)  my treat today!

Guy 2: Mam you love Kachoris?

Priya: I like it but my husband loves it!

All: Thank you Mam!

Girl 1: Awww mam Ram sir kitna sweet hai!

Girl2: You look really good with Ram Sir! #RaYa are couple goals. I saw it in social media!

Priya: Please reduce using social media! You guys focus more on these social media than studies. And you two(to the guys) go and buy some Kachoris.

The two guys goes to buy more Kachoris!  

The two guys are whispering.

Guy 1: Priya Mam has changed so much!

Guy 2: I know right! She is sooo cool these days! I wonder why she was strict all these days!

Guy 1: I noticed Priya mam started changing a few weeks back. You know usually she will give me a C but she gave me a B- instead!

Guy 2: Yes she doesn't deduct marks unecessarily anymore!

Guy 1:She even smiles and laughs a lot these days! 

Guy 2 :I hope she always stays like this! I never thought I will say this but she will be my fav teacher if she stays like this.

Guy1: I always heard guys change after marriage but here our khadoos madam changed!

Scene 4: Ram's Office

On other hand Ram just finished his meeting.

Adi: Ram there is another client meeting. The client say he is free day after tomorrow, 2am? Are you fine with it?

Ram: Yes go and let him know I am fine with it.

Just then Ram remembers how Priya said that its not good to always agree to everything.

Ram: Adi wait...

Adi: Yes Ram?!

Ram: Tell them it is too late! Let them know I will be free 7am-12am anytime between these.

Adi: Wait is this actually Ram Kapoor saying all these stuff?

Ram: Priya was saying its not good how I work soo late and I should negotiate with client if timings are too late!

Adi (smiling) Sure I will do that!

Ram: And yes I will not be here for 30 mins.

Adi: Why? Where are you going?

Ram: I will be here. (smiling) Actually its break time for Priya now. So we decided that we will have lunch together!

Adi: Sure!

Ram goes.

Scene 5: Cafeteria

Priya is looking here and there and just then someone pats on her.

Priya: Mr Kapoor?

Ram: So I have finished my meeting. Let's have lunch together.

Priya nods.

Ram and Priya sits down to have lunch. 

Priya: Mr Kapoor what do you want to have?

Ram: Whatever you order Priya..

Pri: Okay fine, but before this I have something for you.

Ram: What is it?

Priya brings out some kachoris. 

Ram: (smiling) Kachoris!!!! But how about diet plan?

Priya: Diet plan gaye tel lene! Today you can eat whatever you want!!

Ram: Finally!!

Priya: But yes not excessive!!!  And don't worry I know the Kachori wale Bhaia he is hygenic, and even uses filtered water to cook these! 

Ram: (happy) Okay fine!

Ram: (in his mind) Priya cares so much about me! Does she love me like I love her too?

Priya goes and she brings some of Ram's fav food.

Ram is eating them happily. Priya also eats them.

Ram: Priya should I take my digestion tablet just in case...

Priya: You started talking about tablets again?! Don't you remember the doctor said you consume tablets unecessarily! And you are Ram Kapoor not Tablet Kapoor!

Ram: Okay okay just saying! 

Ram is eating it happily like a kid and smiles looking at Priya.

Priya: Mr Kapoor..I was thinking.. after I end class and you end work, I was thinking why not we go to your fav restaurant?!

Ram: (in his mind) How does she know I am planning to take her to the restaurant? Does she know my plan that I will confess to her...the place where we had our first date?

Ram: My fav restaurant?  Why?

Priya: Just casually. It's been a while we went out and had a nice dinner together! If you cannot, it is fine we will go some other time...

Ram: No its okay! Of course we can go! I am alright with this! 

Priya: Okay, but I may go back home first. I have some work. So we will meet there! At 8pm?!

Ram: Sure!!! 

Ram: (in his mind) I will confess my love to Priya tonight. 

Just then two freshers were sitting near Ram and Priya are fangirling him.

Fresher 1: This is  Ram Kapoor right!

Fresher 2: He is soooo hot  yaar!!!

Fresher 1: He is soo damn dashing!

Just then Priya goes to them.

Priya: Excuse me? Why are you looking at us like this?

Fresher 1 and 2: Sorry...

Ram comes there.

Ram: Cmon Priya. Its still break time. Why are you bothering these kids?

Fresher 1 and 2: Kids?!

Ram: Kids don't worry and just have your lunch peacefully!

Fresher 1 and 2 feels rejected and ouch. 

Ram: Priya we are here to eat lunch together, not to continue your lecture,

Priya is still a little annoyed with those two girls.

Ram: Cmon Priya stop thinking about them! Take a chill pill!

Priya: I told you don't talk about pill! With so much difficulty I managed to get rid of this habit of yours!

Ram: What Priya being a lecturer you don't listen fully? I said take a chill pill! As in just chill.

Priya: Oh sorry.

Ram: Seems like your break is going to get over soon. Okay I will get back to work by then.

Priya: Wait a minute. Let's get some coffee.

Ram buys coffee.

Ram: One hot and one cold coffee?

Priya: Actually two cold coffees please?

Ram: Wow Priya, since when you started having cold coffee? See I made you taste it that day, it isn't that bad after all!

Priya: Yes you are right!

They take coffee and drink it outside while going back to work. Just then Ram notices  some coffee foam on Priya's lip. He gestures Priya but she could not clean it, Ram cleans it for her and accidentaly touches on her lips, he then looks at her and comes close to kiss her.

Priya: Mr Kapoor!!  

Ram realizes its imagination!

Priya: Where are you lost?

Ram:.. Were you saying something?!

Priya: I have managed to clean it.

Ram: Okay! Let's go then since we already drank our coffee!

Ram: (in his mind) What are you doing Ram?! Control!

At work,

Scene 6: Ram's Office

Ram is at his office and he is thinking how Priya has been extra friendly to him today. She is usually nice with him these days but today something is different.

Is it anything special today? Is she going to confess also?

However Ram is smiling seeing Priya behaving so friendly. As long as she is happy, he is happy too.

Ram looks at the photo frame with Priya's picture which he kept in his office a while ago.

Ram: Thank you for coming in my life Priya!

Ram kisses on Priya's picture.  Adi comes there.

Adi: Ram yaara I have gotten your suit!

Ram: Thanks yaar!

Adi: This is your special suit, you wear it for special occasion! Anything special?!

Ram: Yes. It is!

Adi: What is it?

Ram: You will know tomorrow.

Adi: Okay..fine!You can tell me when you want to.

Ram: Actually I am in love...with Priya...

Adi: What did you say?!

Ram: I have feelings for Priya. I am in love with her, Adi!

Adi: So that means..you are going to confess to her tonight?!

Ram nods. Adi hugs Ram.

Adi: Yaar I am soooo happy for you!

At night,

Adi helps Ram to get ready for his date. He wears a shirt that of Priya's fav colour. And Ram is excited to confess his love to Priya.

Ram: I hope she also feels the same...

Adi: Don't worry, see Priya will definately give a positive response to your confession!

Ram smiles and then he drives to the restaurant. 

Scene 7: Restaurant

Ram comes to the restaurant. However Priya isn't there. It's 8pm and she still isn't there. Maybe she may have got stuck due to extra lecture classes.

Ram looked at his watch for a while he was getting bored so he started seeing pictures of him and Priya! 

Ram: (in his mind) Priya also loves me right? Does she? Or she just came here for dinner and nothing else..

Ram continues waiting and gets restless. It's been an hour. Priya isn't late usually but why she is soo late today! Just then Priya comes there. Ram lovingly looked at her.

Priya sat down.

Priya: Sorry, I am late.

Ram: It's okay I understand. You had extra classes probably. Everything is fine right? You seem a little tensed...

Priya: Everything is fine...

Priya nods and she realizes Ram's suit.

Priya: This suit...it is ... really nice Mr Kapoor! Where did you get this from?

Ram: Actually before dad died this suit was the last present he gave me! I don't wear it often...

Just then the waiter comes to take the order

Ram and Priya orders food. Ram and Priya were eating and Ram was looking at Priya. Why did she invite him? She wasn't even saying anything. She was just being the usual Priya, who won't say much. So he had to wait. Usually he would do the speaking but today he was nervous. His heart was beating. He wanted to confess. But he doesnt know how to. There is isn't any pills for that, even if there was Priya banned him from having too many medicines. But Priya seems to be lost in thinking something. What is going on her mind?!

After dinner,

Ram couldn't take longer and he decided to say something, but Priya speaks instead.

Priya: Mr Kapoor, I had something important to ask you.

Ram: Yes sure Priya, why are you being so formal? 

Priya: Nothing such. Actually if I ask for something, will you give it to me?

Ram: Yes sure Priya. Say what do you want?

Priya: Actually Mr Kapoor...I...I...

Priya: Mr Kapoor(takes a deep breath)

Ram: Yes say it Priya...

Priya: I want divorce from you.

It took a few seconds for Ram to understand what Priya said. It was unexpected. It shocked him.

Ram: What?!!

Ram was thinking if he heard wrong.

Ram: This must be my imagination!

Priya: No Mr Kapoor, it's not your imagination. I actually want divorce from you!

Ram is stunned.

Ram: Priya what are you saying? If this is a joke then it's a very bad one!!

Priya: I am not lying Mr Kapoor! I don't lie. I really want to end this relationship.

Ram: But Priya...everything was going fine...We are happy together. Then all of a sudden...Did someone say something?

Priya: No it's not that. It's just that there is no meaning to stay in this meaningless relationship. See Mr Kapoor we married because of our siblings. But it is unfair for us. If we don't love each other why are we even together?!

Ram: But Priya...you were the one who always said if there is trust then nothing else matters. We both trust each other then what is wrong? If I have done anything wrong, let me know what it is. I am sorry if I have done anything wrong!

Priya: No no. You haven't done anything wrong! Infact you did everything right! But in the relationship where there is no love, there is no meaning for the marriage either.  We always fight all the time!I have seen many unhappy marriages I don't want  this to happen with us so it's better we get seperated.

Ram: But why after so long you are saying this?  And every couples fight! It's normal! It's been more than a year since we got married. Yes initially we weren't getting along but things did work out! Then why this divorce?

Priya: Mr Kapoor if you really considered me your friend, please please I want to be free from this compromised relationship!

Ram gets upset. He didn't expect Priya to demand a divorce with him! He didnt know how to react.

Ram: You have questioned about our friendship.?!What you want that will happen...Probably we should leave now...

Priya: It's okay I will be going back to my home tonight. And I will not be coming back... I will come one day to collect my things. Thank you for understanding.

Ram without saying leaves from there. Ram goes into his car. Priya sees Ram going. And then Priya breaks down.

Scene 8: Outside

Priya: I am sorry Mr Kapoor ...I had to do this...for your happiness...

Priya gets into a flashback.

Few hours ago,

Scene 9: Sood House

Priya reaches her house on time.  Sara and Sandy are there.

Sara: Priya...what happened? You are smiling so much today...

Priya: (blushing) Actually I have decided to confess my love to Mr Kapoor today...

Sara and Sandy hugs her. 

Sandy: I am so happy for you Priya Dii! Finally you realized your love for him.

Priya: But I need your help. Actually I wanted to ask Brinda's help first but she was busy so I decided to ask you both.

Sara: Again you are choosing that Brinda over me!

Sandy: Sara Dii is so jealous of Brinda haha!

Sara: Shut up! (to Priya) Now tell me what help you need!

Priya: I want to get ready for that. Please help me grt ready. I have no idea what to choose.

Sara and Sandy helps her. And then Priya sees a yellow outfit she likes. She decides to wear that. She remembers how Ram liked her in yellow and red too.

Sara: By staying with Ram your choice has improved too!

Priya: Mr Kapoor has good choice except his chamkeli shoes. 

Sara: Now let me do some makeup.

Priya: Seriously makeup? That's why I wanted to ask for Brinda's help first!

Sara: So you won't do any makeup?!

Sandy: Pri dii at least do a little. Ram Jiju will like it!

Priya: Okay fine.

Sara and Sandy does light makeup for Priya. Priya smiles.

Sara: You are looking so beautiful, my sister!

They three share a hug.

Priya: Okay I should leave now so that Mr Kapoor does not have to wait so much. He has been working for the whole day!

Priya goes. 

Scene 10: Outside

Priya is in auto, and as she is on her way.

Priya recalls her moments with Ram.

Ram:(untieing her hair) Tum Khule Baal mai zyaada achi lagti ho...

Hawaa ke jaise chalta hai tu 

And then her dance with Ram in that Diwali exhibition.

Main ret jaisi udti hoon 

Ram opening his heart to Priya due to intoxication from his medication

Ram: Itni Bhi Koshish Karlu Na...Tumhe Impress Nahi Kar Paunga

Kaun tujhe yun pyar karega 

And then Ram resting his head on Priya's shoulder 

Jaise main karti hoon

Ram talking in support of Priya when she was pressured and he held her hand. 

Ho.....

Ho......

And Ram trying to cheer her whenever she was sad with his bad jokes, and she will always end up giggling hearing that.

Ho....

Ho.....

Priya: In these one and half years of mine and Mr Kapoor's marriage, I don't know when his innocence and graciousness melted me...I have fallen for him...Aakhir Kar Apne Mujhe Impress Kar Hi Liya...

Just then she gets a phone call.

Priya: Okay sure I am coming.

Priya tells the auto driver to go to another place. 

Priya alights and there she meets Vedika.

Vedika hugs Priya.

Vedika: Thank you for taking out time to meet me.

Priya: No worries Vedika. 

Vedika: You are looking really pretty today. Were you going anywhere?

Priya: Just for dinner.

Vedika: I can say you are really happy with Ram. I am glad for you.

Priya: Vedika well how is everything?

Vedika: Thank you Priya, if it was not for you I would not have started my career of my own. You got me divorced with Shashi and made sure I got my rights.

Priya: Did you get the alimony amount?

Vedika: Leave it....

Priya: Vedika...

Vedika: Shashi left India after we got divorced. Since then nobody knows where he is!

Priya: What a jerk! Because of people like him others have to suffer! Don't worry I will talk to Mr Kapoor, he will find out a way to track Shashi.  It is hard to track someone overseas, but I think he can find out where Shashi went! 

Vedika: Priya I don't want Ram to know that we met. Please don't tell him about this.

Priya: But why?

Vedika: As you know we both had a history right?! 

Priya: But Vedika..he cares a lot for you. Even today he does. You should tell him!

Vedika: Leave it Priya! To be honest the reason I chose Shashi over Ram was because Shashi was more rich and financially stable. After marrying Shashi, I realized he did not even love or care for me like Ram did! Shashi married me for selfish purposes to show Ram that he got Ram's love!  Gradually  I realized leaving Ram and marrying Shashi was the biggest mistake I did in my life. If I never left Ram, Shashi and I would have never got married. Ram has a very big heart to let me go and tolerate me with some other guy just for my happiness. He is a selfess guy. He is a gem. You are so lucky to have him. How I wish I realized this earlier that he loves me dearly. I wish I chose love over money!

Vedika cries.

Priya gets thinking. He does recall how Ram will frequently look at Vedu's photo frame when they got recently married. Ram has told her so many stories about Vedu too.

Flashback(few months back when Vedu and Shashi's divorce process was going on )

Scene 11: RaYa's Room

Priya: I have talked to Vedika, she said they that the hearing will take place tomorrow.

Ram: You know Priya if there was a chance for me and Vedu to get back together, I would have surely take that....

Priya felt bad hearing that but she pretended not to pay attention to that! She just went away from there.

Scene 12: Outside

Priya: Don't worry Vedika everything will be alright!  I should leave now! I will call you back later!

Priya goes and walks as he gets thinking.

Priya: (in her mind) No Priya. Just for your love for Ram you can't be selfish. Ram loved, loves and will always love Vedika. How could you have thought he will love you back instead? Ram has done so much for you and your family. He has suffered so much in the past. A gem like him deserves true love and all the happiness. And now when there is this chance you should let go of Ram so that he can unite with his Vedu.

Priya sits on a bench and starts crying. Then she gets a missed call from Ram. She wipes her tears.

Priya: No Priya! You have to be strong like you have always been. Do this one last favour for Mr Kapoor. Let him live with the love of his life. You could not but at least he could! He stayed in pain and without love for years, now when there is a chance for him to be united with his true love don't spoil it!

Priya gets out of the flashback.

Priya: Why does this always happen to me? First when I fell in love guy wasn't right for me. Now when I did this time, guy was right , but I wasn't right for him. 

Priya cries!

Precap:Priya demands something from Ram. Ram asks what is it? She says....

I understand most of you won't like the twist for this part, but it was needed for the next part. Next part is the most important part of this story. Also I am planning to wrap up this SS soon. Probably the next part maybe the last part(not sure yet) Will post the next part on 15th or 16th.
