Chapter 31

CHAPTER  29- A:

2 months later:

"are kakka… kya kar rahe ho aap?" she was screaming. She ran to the man who was holding a flower maala in his hand. "kakka kithne baar bola hai meine ye yaha nahi.. waha hona chahiye.." she said pointing onto the other railing. He ran to the other place.

"sab kuch mujhe hi karna hoga.. kisiko koi parwa nahi.. " she was muttering to herself when she heard a muffled voice behind the curtain.

"kya kar rahe ho aap?? Chodiye.." she saw the shadow of a man holding onto a lady.. he was pinning her onto the wall.. she pushed the curtain back and was fuming..

"kya kar rahe ho aap dono?? Aaj aapke bhai ke shaadi hai aur aapko sharm nahi aarahe hai?? Kithne kaam hai.. aur aap yaha romance kar rahe ho.." Sameer was having a guilty face and Shifali was hiding behind him. "wo Ridhi.. mein.."the ETF cheif stammered.

"mein mein kya?? Maana ke agle number aapke hai.. thoda tho sabr karo.. aur ek baath kaan kholke sunlijiye.. agar aaj mere bhai ke shaadi mein koi bhi problem hua.. tho aaj aapke engagement bhi cancelled.. its your last warning.."

"are.. nahi beta.. aise math kehna.. bohot mushkil se tumhare bhai shaadi ko haan kahe hai.. please mujhe ab zindagi bhar keliye kunwara math chodna…" he pleaded. She felt like laughing aloud but kept a stern face. "hm.. ok.. jaiye aur panditji ko le aayiye.." but then she heard someone laughing behind her. Raj and Shreeparna was having a great time together. They were laughing while coming in but dropped dead when they saw Ridhi's fuming face..

"great.. yaha pe bhi romance.. good.. very good.. kya aap.." before she could complete Raj took over. "ha.. mein wo catering walon ko phone karne hi wale hai.." he and Sameer ran from there. Shifali and Shreeparna stood there ready to hear anything.

"aur aap dono.. mere hone wali bhabhi.. aapke number bohot jald aane wale hai.. par unka kya jiske aaj hai?? Jaiye unhe thaiyyar kijiye.. aap ladki walon ke tharaf se hai na??"

"yes maam.." they too ran from there. Shree was watching all these from a distance. He saw her muttering and going to the room. he followed her. She was standing near the bed. "kya karoon mein in sabko??"

He came from behind and wrapped her in his arms and placed his chin on her shoulder. "kya hua meri jaan? Kyu ithne tension le rahe ho?" she was worried still. "patha nahi Shree.. koi serious kyu nahi hai… aaj mere bhai ke shaadi hai..."

"are baba.. tension lene se kya hoga.. see sab teekh hi tho chal raha hai." He tried to kiss her neck. She understood and tried to move away.. but suddenly she winced in pain "ah.."

Though 2 months were over after the incident she still had pain at times on her shoulder. Shree was worried. "hey.. kya hua..?" he made her sit on the bed and he sat on the floor opposite to her, cupping her face. "are you alright.?" . though she had a mild pain, the worry on his face, took it away from her. She nodded she is fine. He sat on the bed and hugged her gently. "kyu ithne stress lerahe ho?? Yaha sab hai na?? why don't you take care of yourself.?"

"I'm fine Shree.. honestly I'm fine.." she rested her head on his chest. They stayed there for a while. "Shree.." she called slowly. "hm.. kya hua?"

"I'm tensed." Her voice genuinely had tension. He took her face in his hands. "kyu.. don't worry shaadi perfect hi hogi.. aur Rathod sir ke engagement bhi.. don't worry. Mein hu na yaha?"

"that's not the matter Shree.. tumhare parents aaj aarahe hai na??agar unhe mein pasand nahi aya tho?" her eyes were moist. Shree smiled at her. "are.. pagli.. tumhe kisse nahi pasand ayega.. you are my sweetest Ridzi.. don't worry.. kuch nahi hoga.." he kissed her forehead. Still she was not relaxed. He knew how to do it. "aur agar phir bhi unhe pasand nahi aaya na.. tho..hum  bhaag jaathe hai..Salman aur Katrina ke tharah.. 'ek tha tiger' wale bhagna.. hows that?"

She smiled at this. "good idea.. aur wo log humme nahi pakdenge .. after all hum ETF ke best IT specialist jo hai..?" they laughed and he kissed her eyes taking away the tears. She was lost.

"ab.. chalo.. bohot kaam hai..and I'm sure bhai abhi thak apne sharwani touch bhi nahi kiya hoga.. aur unke surprise ke kya hua? Wo aarahe hai na?"

"ya.. he's on the way… mein unhe lene hi jaraha hu.." they got up to move. he caught her hands and pulled her to him. "please sambhalke.. zyaada stress nahi.. ok?" she nodded,  kissed his cheeks and ran away.

Arjun was sitting on his bed, looking at Roshni's photo. The black sherwani with silver embroidery lay on the bed. Ridhi saw her brother. He was relaxed but lost in thoughts. She went and sat by him. He looked at her and smiled. "kya hua bhai.. aap abhi bhi ready nahi hai kya?"

"aise nahi hai Ridhi.. I'm ready.. but kuch ajeebsa feeling ho raha hai.."

"its ok bhai.. aap jaanthe ho ke Riya aapko samajhthe hai.. she will understand your feelings.."

"patha hai Ridhi.. I hope mein bhi usse khush rekh paao.." she cupped his face..

"of course bhai.. dekhna aap duniya ke best husband hoge.. agar aap mere bhai nahi hothe na… tho mein hi aapse shaadi karthe… you are too good…" she winked and he started laughing and hugged her. "thanks Ridhi.. thanks for being with me.."

"I'll be always with you bhai.. ab chaliye.. let me see aap is sharwani mein kaise hoge.." she gave it to him. "ache hi hoge.. tum hi tho select kiya hai.."

"agar sirf ache hai tho aapko change karna hoga.. mujhe bohot acha lagna chahiye.." she pushed him to washroom. She was waiting and he came out. He looked so good that her eyes welled. She took her kaajal and put it behind his ears. "kahi nazar na lage mere bhai ko.." someone knocked at the door. Shree peeped in "wow.. sir.. you look great.."

"thanks Shree.." Shree nodded to her. Arjun raised his eye bows. She went behind him and closed his eyes.

 "surprise!!" she opened it after a while. A priest was standing in front of him. "Fr.John.." he couldn't believe it. It was the same person who looked after him in the orphanage. He took his blessing and hugged him.

"God bless you my child… I'm so happy for you.. at last tumhe tumhare family mil hi gaye.. jab tumhare sister ne mujhe bathaya ke tum shaadi kar rahe ho.. tho mein bohot khush hua.. isiine hi mujhe yaha aane keliye kaha.. I'm so happy for you."Arjun's eyes welled. "thanks Father… agar aap mujhe uss din apnaye nahi hothe tho.." he couldn't complete. "no my son.. don't say that.. God sub kuch plan kiya hai.. hum bas wahi karthe hai.. kabhi bhi unpe shak math karna. Ok my son.. wish you a happy married life.. aur zyaada gussa math karna.. ha.. God bless you.." he blessed everyone and left. Arjun was so happy.. he hugged Ridhi and broke down for a while.

Riya was so anxious. "I hope mein achi lag rahi hai.. else I'll make a fool out of my self.. wo tho hamesha handsome hai.. patha nahi.. kaise lagrehe hoge sharwani mei… mein tho yaha se ja bhi nahi sakthe.."

"wo bohot handsome lag rahe hai.."Shifali said from behind who had heard everything. "tumse bhi acha lag rahe hai.."they teased her.

"such..? I knew it.. what should I do?" they laughed at her. "are meri Riya.. tum bohot ache lag rahe hai.. you are the prettiest bride.. bas yahi dialogue kuch mahine baad mujhse bhi keh dena.." Shifali hugged her. "hm.. aaj engagement hai.. tumhe bhi ready hona hai na..? Shree.. iski dress le aao..? aur ye Ridhi kaha hai?"

"wo waha bhaagthe hi rehthe hai.. apni bilkul ghayaal nahi hai.. I hope usse zyaada dard na horehe ho.." they were worried for their little sister.

Ridhi wanted all her brothers to be married together. But they didn't allow her. They knew she would run around without taking care of herself. She was weak. So they planned a gap of a few months in between each wedding. With Arjun's wedding itself, she was stressing out.  

"she'll be fine. Shree haina waha.." Shree knew her brother well. "aur Ridhi ko ek aur bada kaam baaki hai.. apne bhiyonko thaiyaar karwaana.. wo  kaam wo hi kar sakthe hai.." they laughed together.

 "Shree.. tumhari parents aaj aarahe hai na Ridhi ko dekhne..? tho thode time ke baad usse yaha le aana.. usse bhi thaiyyar karwana hai.. aakhir wo hamarehi behen jo hai.." they agreed to it. All were so happy.
