Chapter 23

CHAPTER 21:

' Evergreen Resort' ' as name suggested it was built aptly for the surroundings. With rich garden in front, great entrance, wooden paneling on the walls'it was almost like a wooden house. The team liked the atmosphere.

Arjun and Riya had a double room. Riya as usual was feeling uncomfortable. But now she was almost used to it. Arjun always took the couch in the room, while Riya had the bed. They had a great understanding for respecting each others privacy. Raj, Ridhi, Sameer and Shree- each had a single room. Sameer insisted that Ridhi's room should be in between his and Raj. Maybe he had a small doubt on Shree. Shree's room was next to Sameer. In short 'Sameer bhai' was in between them. It was decided that they would meet together at Arjun's room morning at 7 30 am as their room was bigger. They went to their respective rooms.

Next day :7 15 am:

Ridhi was the first to reach Arjun's room. He hugged her and kissed Good morning. Riya was having a bath. Arjun went out to call others while Ridhi waited for Riya. Riya came out in a salwar. "Good morning Bhabhi.." she said. Riya was worried and looked around. "don't worry.. bhai yaha nahi hai.." she winked.

Riya rolled her eyes and went to the dressing table. She dried her hair.. combed it well, put on her mangalsutra and had her sindoor. Ridhi was observing her. Riya was doing as it was her daily routine. Ridhi felt so happy that her eye welled. Riya saw it in the mirror. She came and cupped Ridhi's face. "kya hua..?"

Ridhi hugged her with smile and tears. "kuch nahi.. aap aise bohot ache lag rahe ho.. I hope ye drama bohot jald real life mein badle.. I want you as my Bhabhi.." Riya was so happy that even her eyes welled.  She held her close. Day by day their relation was getting stronger. They hugged for a while till it was broken when Arjun and team entered. They were surprised to see them hugging. Though they tried to wipe their tears quickly, it didn't go unnoticed. "kya hua? Everything alright..?" Arjun was concerned for both of them.

"nahi' bhai.. its not allright.. its just perfect.." she smiled at him. They didn't ask anymore. Shree was concerned. "kya hua..?" he asked silently with his eye. She slightly nodded negative with a smile. Raj liked Shree's concern. 

Sameer took hold of the environment. "ok.. Shifali ne kaha hai ke wo yaha aarahe hai.."

"kaun Shifali?" Raj asked with a crooked smile. "Oh..Shifali' wo photographer..hm.. 'interesting'.. you called her? Or did she call you??" everyone was smiling Sameer glared at them.

"stop it guys.. hum yaha ek case keliye aaye hai.. not to enjoy.. Hope you don't forget that.."

"yes.. Boss..!!" all said together. He glared again. Someone knocked the door. Sameer was closer to the door so he went to open it. The visitor gave him a heart attack'well' a mild one'

She was a beauty.. oval face.. curly black hair.. wide eyes.. so bubbly.. yet so elagent.. she wore a black denim pant with loose white top.. had a camera bag on her shoulder.. and a great smile.. Sameer was lost.. she saw him gazing at her.

"hm' excuse me.. hai.. I'm Shifali.." still response from him.. "sir are you alright..?" he woke up.. "ya.. I'm fine.. hai ACP Sameer Rathod.." he said in one breath. Infact everyone was peeping at him from behind. Ridhi couldn't control her giggle. Raj put a hand over her mouth to stop her. "hm.. Sameer.. usse andar aane tho do.." he said from behind. "ya.. sure.. come in.."

They came in.. Ridhi managed to take Raj's hand from her.. "in dono ke Jodi salaamat rahe.." she said slowly to her 2 brothers.. Arjun knocked her head. 

They introduced each other. Ridhi loved Shifali. "ek aur bhabhi' wow..." she said to Riya. Riya silenced her. Shifali was also feeling comfortable with the team. She is at the location for last 3 days. She started speaking of her doubts.

"pehle mujhe laga tha ke ye bas mere doubts hai.. par jab un logon ke hath weapons dekha' I felt something was up.. wo foreigners locals ko shayad weapons hi derahe hai.. ya kuch aur.. I'm not sure. But return mein unlogonko kaafi zyada paisa bhi mil rahe hai.. bade bade boxes mein.. jo bhi meine dekha, un sabke photos mere pass hai.."

"Shree analyse it.." Arjun said to him. He was already with his laptop. The team was impressed with her precision in the photography. It was so clear like her words. But it was not enough to go to the depth. "aap bohot hi risky kaam kiye hai.. well done.." Sameer appreciated her. She was happy. All looked at each other with a smile.

"hume is jungle mein jana hoga.. just like a regular outing.. aap hamare saath aasakti ho.. if you don't mind.." Raj asked her.

"sure .. I don't mind.. I will never miss an opportunity to get new friends." She said with a smile. All agreed to go out after breakfast.
