CHAPTER20-A:

  Few weaks later:

"good morning Ridhi.. project kaise chal rahe hai?" Arjun asked coming in. "good morning bhaiya.. project going fine.. wo naye tracking device ke frequency settings me kaam chal rahe hai.. its really exciting.. aur Shree bhi bohot help kar rahe hai.."

"good.. aur suna hai ke tum Shree ke gadgets ko sambhalne lagi ho.. that's really good'"

"Sir.. Ridzi tho kaafi jaldi sab seekh rahe hai'  "

"RIDZI? Huh? Kaafi din se ye naam sun raha hai? Aakhir chakkar  kya hai?" Angry man was back. Shree gulped.  "sir' wo'"

"bhai.. wo kya hai na' college mein meri friends mujhe Ridzi bulathe hai' I told him.. isiliye ye bhi bula rahe hai' nothing else.." she came to his rescue. Arjun nodded and went to his cabin. Shree fell into his chair. "OMG' aaj tho mein mar hi jatha.. thanks yaar.." she was laughing hard.

"haso'haso.. tumhe nahi patha ke mein kithne risk le raha hu.. ek side mein Rathod Sir jo kabhi bhi explode kar saktha hai.. dusri side.. Arjun sir.. jo hamesha exploded hai.. bas lava aane ke hi der hai.. isme tho mein jal hi jaunga.."

"agar ithna darthe hai tho.. ithna risk kyu lerahe ho?"

"kyunki mere pass ek aisa shield hai jo mujhe hamesha safe rakhenga.."

"and whats that?" she was looking into his eyes.

"LOVE' MY RIDZI's LOVE'" he was looking so adorable. Someone cleared his throat behind..   Raj was right behind them.. they felt awkward..

"hm.. kaafi shayari bhi shuru hua hai.. legtha hai mujhe firse interfere karna hoga.."

"nahi sir.. aisa kuch nahi hai'"

"ok then'tum dono aao.. Sameer koi meeting pe bulaya hai.." all 3 goto the conference hall.

Conference hall:

"team.. we have an interesting situation.. I'm not sure if we have case already in our hand.. still we'll be looking into it.." Rathod started. This was not his usual way, so all were a bit amused.

"Bilaspur ..7 hour drive from here.. ek aise jagah jaha ghane jungle aur waterfalls hai.. ek moderate resort hai waha pe.. 'Evergreen resort' uthna famous jagah tho nahi hai.. phir bhi kuch log waha trecking ya.. aise shok keliye waha jatha hai.. sheher se duur.. kaafi silent aur ambient jagah hai.. ek mahine pehle waha 2 foreigners aya tha.. kuch din rukha.. aur kaafi zyada rupees 'tips' deke chale gaye.. ek hafthe ke bad.. fir bohot zyada fourigners aane laga.. baarish ke is mausam me bhi its almost crowded with them .. resort owner ko kaafi zyada paisa mil rahe ai.. aur bohot kush bhi hai.."

"agar sab kush hai.. tho case mein 'interesting' kya hai'SIR?" Arjun asked in between.

"mujhe pure kehna tho do Rawte.. ek aise din ek freelance photographer aya uss resort pe.. monsoon special photos lene keliye.. usne kal photos lene ke beech uss forest me kuch ajeebsa notice kiya.. wo log kuch bhaari jeezonke transactions kar rahe the.. wo bhi locals ke saath.. badle me kaafi paise bhi de rahe the.. usse laga ke kuch illegal transactions hai..  usne unlogon ke pass hatyaar bhi dekha hai.. tho unhone mujhe phone kiya.. mujhe is case thoda ajeeb laga.. isliye meine commissioner sir se baath kiya.. and now we have to investigate about it.." all were silent for a while..

"wo photographer' naam kya hai uska?" Arjun asked.

"uska.. nahi.. uski. Uski naam Shifali hai.." Raj raised his eyebrows with a crooked smile. "wow SIR.. ek hi phone call mein aapko ye case 'ithne intersting' laga ke aap pure team se baath karne se pehle hi case apne haath me liya.. interesting.. very interesting'"

"isme interesting kya hai Raj.. it's a case.. nothing more.." Riya, Shree and team giggled, but were silenced by one glare from Rathod. "so team.. are we taking up this case?" he asked again.

"ya.. sure.. its really 'intersting' case.." Arjun had a smile. Rathod ignored it.

"ab most important part'Ridhi.."

"what about me?" she was surprised. "no way bhai.. agar aap sab mujhe chodke jaane ka plan mein hai tho.. bhooljao.. I'm coming with you.. please.."

"par Ridhi.. hum pure samay case mein hoga.. you'll be bored.."

"nahi bhai.. please take me.. mein yaha akeli nahi rahungi.. aur this is the best time to check how my project is working.. mere tracking device check karne ka aise acha chance nahi milega.."

"of course' PROJECT keliye kuch bhi karega.. right Ridhi??" Raj asked them. Rathod took over with a smile. "mujhe patha tha ki tum aise hi kuch karne wale ho.. isiliye mein tumhare liye bhi ek character sketch banaya hai.. we will not be going as ETF officers.."

" Raj, Arjun aur mein friends hai.. Raj is back from abroad after a long time.. so we'll be as if going out together for a trip. Shree.. you will be my brother.. aur Ridhi.. Shree ke fianc.."

"WHAT?" Raj was shocked and so were Shree and Ridhi.. but Shree was so happy. "are you serious Sam? Is this a good idea?"

"relax Raj.. Ridhi ko fianc banaye hai.. couple nahi.. tho alag alag hi rahege.. aur ye dono se tum kyu dar rahe ho? Ye dono laila-majnu thode na hai..?"

"you have no idea.." Raj kept thinking. He could see that Shree was happy. He glared at him and Shree lowered his eyes..Ridhi was blushing..

"coming back to the point.. Arjun will be with your wife Riya.."

"as usual.." Ridhi unknowingly said aloud. All were looking at her. She felt a sharp gaze from Arjun. "sorry.. wo last case mein bhi Riya bhai ke wife the na..? isiliye '" she looked down. Raj and Sam were smiling seeing her frightened of Arjun.

"Ridhi sahi keh rahi hai.. why is it always me?" Arjun asked back. Riya felt a lttle bad.

" Jodi unn dono ke beech mein hona chahiye jo ek dusre keliye bane ho.." Raj was in his shayari mood.

 "and what do you mean by that, ACP Raj Malhotra?" Arjun snapped back. Now Raj was bit confused. Ridhi gave a 'what are you doing?' look..

"I mean, she looks good with you than with us.." Arjun glared again. Rathod handled the situation. "Chotu for now, you'll be staying here.. koi bhi photographs ya sabooth mile.. we'll send to you.. usse yaha se analyse karna.. but be ready.. I can call you back at anytime. We'll be going at 3 pm. So be ready.. and again.. monsoon season hai.. be ready with all necessary things.. see you all soon."  Raj and Arjun went to Sam's cabin for final discussion.
