Chapter 3

CHAPTER 2:

Arjun woke up early and had his jogging. After changing he called Rathod. "Rathod mein thode late hoga.." he had to meet one of his informer.

ETF office 9 am:

The trio was finishing the work they left last night. "yaar kal hi complete kiya hota tho ab ye sab nahi karna hotha." Shree whispered in Riya' s  ears constantly checking his boss who was fully inside a file. Someone knocked the door. Riya went to open it.

A handsome gentleman was at the door. White shirt neatly tucked inside blue jeans. Hair well kept. And above all, with a sweet smile. He looked at her a bit surprised. "Hi.. Good morning.. ACP Sameer Rathod..?" he enquired.

She had a faint idea who this must be. "Yes he is here...er..ACP Raj Malhotra..?" she asked slowly. "yes.. that's me."

"Oh... Welcome sir.. please come in.."  he nodded and followed her.

They reached the conference hall. Shree and Chotu were looking at the new comer behind her. Rathod was still in his file, sitting in his usual place with his back toward them. "Its him.." Riya said to Chotu and Shree with her eyes. 

"Sir.." she called Rathod.

Rathod turned his chair and looked at the new comer. He kept his file on the table and slowly got up his eyes fixed on him. The new comer gave his hands forward for a shake hand.

 "ACP Raj Malhotra reporting ...Sir..."

Rathod was still looking at him and then shook his hands.

 "Welcome to ETF" he said still holding his hands.

The next event took the air out of the trio. 

They saw Rathod was smiling at Raj who was smiling back and they both hugged as if meeting after a long time. Shree had his mouth open. They broke the hug, still holding each other's hands.

"kaise ho Raj..?"

"fine Sam...oh sorry..SIR..."

"stop it Raj.. kye hai ye sab kuch?"

"come on yaar... tum.. sorry again .. AAP.. mere boss ho.. tho its obviously Sir..." he smiled.

"next time sir bula.. or mein tumhe thab dekhlunga..."

"ok sir... sorry sir.." Rathod hit his shoulder. They laughed and hugged again. Trio was still open mouthed.

That was when Arjun came in. he saw Rathod hugging a person. And he never needed a second guess. But how it could be. "RAJ..."

Raj was shocked to hear the voice behind him. He slowly broke the hug and looked at Sameer. He just nodded. Raj turned back to Arjun. Trio was still shocked. The face that smiled and joked a moment back was filled with rage, anger..sorrow.. Eyes full of questions...

"Raj tum yaha...?" Arjun couldn't believe his eyes. Still there was no response from Raj. Rathod tried to handle the situation.

 "Rawte.. Raj is the new member of the team as an encounter specialist. Or Raj.. Arjun is team ke second in command hai.."

Still silence. Then Raj gave his hand forward to Arjun. "Nice to meet you ...SIR..."

PRECAP:

"WE ARE FRIENDS DAMMIT..." Arjun shouted

"oh really...friends.. right?? Raj was fuming..
