Sai on phone 

Haan bolo Aniket

An : Sai tumhare pass toh time hi nahi, kitne dinon se keh raha hoon ki practice karni hai par tum toh.

Just then Virat enters and Sai wasn't aware.

Sai : offo tum bhi na, mein padhai mein aur ghar ke kuch kaam mein busy thi, jald hi karenge na practice, mein kahaa bhaagi jaa rahi hoon?

An : Mrs IPS tum yahi baat 1 hafte se bol rahi ho he says. 

Sai : acha baba, mein ek kaam karti hoon, kal se na roz lunch jaldi hi khatam karke aa jaoongi practice ke liye teek hai? Tumne songs toh choose kar liye na? 

An : Arey Sai suno na, Hume shayad photo shoot bhi karni hogi, sab ek banner banana chahthey hain jo bhi perform kar rahe hain, hum donon saath mein kar rahe hain toh ek couple dancing pose ka chahiye hoga.

Sai : photoshoot? Zaroori hai kya? Waise woh kitne baje ko hoga?  Mujhe apna din uss hisab se plan karna hoga.

Aur tumne couple dance ke liye songs choose kar liye hain?

Virat gets irritated, firstly she is not even aware he has come and then she is talking about what? 

Yeh kya Sun raha hoon? Kahi Maine kuch galat toh nahi sun li? 

Sai : accha baba kal milte hain bye good night 

Virat to Sai "kisse baat kar rahi thi Sai?" in a stern tone. 

Sai : arey Virat sir aap aa gaye, aap kab aaye? Aap fresh ho jayiye, mein aapke liye khana leke aati hoon.

Virat : woh sab baad mein, tum kisse baat kar rahi thi?

Sai : apne friend se. 

Virat : Kaunsa friend Sai? 

Sai rolls her eyes and says "jiska height check karne aaye the aap".  

Virat closes his eyes and says "Sai maine maafi bhi maangi thi phir se uss baat ko kyun le aa rahi ho?"

Sai : accha teek hai Ankit, oh sorry Nachiket oops Jo bhi khet matlab Aniket se baat kar rahi thi trying to suppress her giggle. 

Virat feels a little embarrassed and says "haan haan teek hai zyaada hasne ki zaroorat nahi hai". 

Sai "mein kab hasee?" Trying to control her laughter

Virat then asks "kya baat kar rahi thi? Kounsa photo shoot?"

Sai replies innocently "woh college ke fest ke liye banners bana rahein hain use ke liye".

Virat's patience is running out and mumbles "yeh ladki bhi na, seedhe seedhe jawaab nahi de sakthi hai, lagta hai pura Ramayan sunayegi, mudhe par toh aati hi nahi hai".

Virat doesn't want to let her know that he heard what she spoke and that he is annoyed and irritated with couple dancing and photoshoot and wants to get further details from her indirectly. 

"Virat sir Virat sir kahan kho gaye hain aap" asks Sai. 

 Virat comes out of his thoughts and says "accha toh uske liye apna koi photo nahi de sakthi photoshoot karne ki kya zaroorat hai ". 

Sai innocently again "arey mera toh photo hai par Aniket ke saat nahi hai na". 

Virat gets alert and asks "kya? Kya matlab? Uske saath photo kyun chahiye tumhe?"

Sai "Arey Virat sir hum donon dance karne waale hain saath mein toh hum donon ki saath mein koi photo daalna chahthey hain banner mein". 

Virat gets shocked with the information and asks "tum donon saath mein? Mujhe laga tum solo performance dene waali ho, uske gane pe naachogi?"

Sai says totally unaware of how irritated he was getting "nahi nahi solo performance toh mein de rahi hoon, par mera ek aur performance hai Aniket ke saat". 

Virat "kya? Kyun? Aur waise tumhare paas in saare cheezon ke liye waqt kaisa hoga? Time waste nahi hoga? Kya zaroorat hai?"

Sai then says "woh hua yeh ki main bhi nahi chahthi thi par woh college ke students ne kuch participants ko khud hi ek couple dance ke liye select kar liya tha".

"Maine mana toh kiya par aakhir mein kuch kar nahi paayi". 

She continues "Un logon ne toh kuch jodiyon ka audition kiya tha aur un logon ko meri and Aniket ki chemistry bahut pasand aa gayi aur mujhe manna hi pada". 

Virat got really mad hearing it. 

"Kya matlab Chemistry pasand aa gaya?"

Sai "arey Virat sir aapko Chemistry nahi pata? Couples mein jo Chemistry diktha hai? Woh na har kisi couple mein nahi dikhtha hai aur in logon ko laga hai ki meri aur Aniket ke beech mein bahut accha hai toh hume mana liya tha."

Virat closes his eyes and breathes. Just doesn't understand how to react to this because he was losing his cool but also does not want to do anything stupid like last time. 

Virat asks "uske liye koi bhi ladki nahi thi kya jiske saath uska "Chemistry" accha ho?"

Sai non chalantly "nahi, un logon ko humari hi jodi pasand aayi, upar se mein dancer hoon aur Aniket Singer, toh unhe lag raha hai ki humari jodi zabardast hai". 

Enough was enough for Virat, he lost it now and this girl just doesn't understand his emotions or what he is going through. Bas bak bak bak kiye ja rahi hai he thought. 

Virat holds Sai's hands and pulls hers a little closer to him.

Sai gets startled and questions him through her eyes as what he was doing.

He then moves close to the mirror and then keeps her hand on his shoulder and bends a little dropping her too a little and shows her the mirror.

He asks "kya dikh raha hai?"

She was confused first and says "ki aapne meri haath pakda aur mujhe neeche gira diya".

Virat mentally curses himself and the girl in his arms, is ladki ka mein kya karoon. 

Virat then tries to make her look into the mirror and says "kaise dikh rahe hain hum donon?" 

Sai all flushed and looks at the mirror unable to answer him. 

He then lifts her a little, holds both her arms and lifts it above their heads and asks her to check the mirror.

She keeps looking, unable to understand what was happening, sensations that she couldn't point fingers at.

He then drops her arms down and brings it forward and then folds their arms together, her standing in the front and him right behind her and asks her to look at the mirror again.

Sai was totally confused, she couldn't take the proximity anymore and it was Virat sir who was doing these.

She tries to move away but Virat pulls her to him and  turns her around swiftly and her face hits his chest, he places his hands on her chin and makes her look at him. 

He looks at her intently and then moves his face close to her, she tries to step behind but he holds her firmly asking her through his eyes to stop moving, she was facing the mirror and he goes near her ears and whispers "aisa chemistry?". 

Sai widens her eyes and starts blushing. She doesn't want him to look at her like this, he moves away a little and looks at her. Her face all red and she was confused and was looking at the ground. 

Virat takes a few steps behind and leaves her and asks "tumne jawaab nahi diya abhi tak?"

Sai asks "kis cheez ka?" she was lost and couldn't understand what was happening and what he just did.

Virat then says "Aisa Chemistry? Aisa hai tumhare aur Aniket ka bhi? "Tumne abhi hum donon ko dekha?" "Lagta hai tumhare college ke students ko bhi dekhne ko milni chahiye". 

Sai looks at him shocked, "kya matlab? "

Virat arey Sai "maine itne spasht shabdon se poocha tha aur phir bhi tum matlab pooch rahi ho?"

"Topper thi na? " 

Sai mumbles "Chemistry mein topper thi, aise waale Chemistry mein nahi".

Virat hears it and gets amused and smiles and says "aise waale Chemistry mein topper banne ki zaroorat hi nahi, aur waise banogi bhi kaise?".

Sai then asks without understanding what she was asking "Kyun kyun nahi ban sakthi?" "Mein har cheez mein top karti hoon".

Virat laughs a little and then answers, "kyunki mein jo nahi tha tumhare saath, tum top kaise karti"

Sai couldn't understand what he was trying to say and gives a confused look.

Virat then pulls her again and makes both face the mirror and points his hands towards the mirror and says woh dekho "aise waale Chemistry mein top karne ke liye, tumhe meri zaroorat hai, aur sirf mere saath aisa chemistry ban saktha hai, kisi aur ke saath kabhi nahi". He smiles satisfactorily.

Sai looks at the mirror trying to process what he just said, looks at the mirror all flustered and a small invisible smile adorning her lips.

 She was trying hard to not let Virat see her happiness. She was also feeling very confused at the sudden change in Virat and looked at him through the mirror. 

Virat also looks at them in the mirror and feels very happy to see how they look. This is the first time they are this close and that too not by accident. He bridged the distance between them today. Virat also enjoyed her state, her red cheeks, her blush, her confused and lost look. 

Virat then moves away and looks at her and says "ab tum bol do un logon ko ki tumhari chemistry kiske saath sabse zyaada accha hai" "woh khud samajh jayenge ki kisi aur ke saath "jo bhi khet" ko dance karna chahiye tumhe nahi". 

Sai now realises what is he trying to do and then glares at him and says "main aisa kuch nahi karne waali, kyun karoon?".

She then adds "maine commit kar diya hai aur main dance karoongi Aniket ke saath". 

"Aapko isse koi problem nahi honi chahiye" and mumbles Khadoos. 

Virat gets a little restless and doesn't understand what to do. He thinks she is not wrong, she is a college student and it is jus a performance but he also doesn't like the idea of her dancing with that guy. 

Somehow he hated that guy the first time he heard about him. He managed to make his wife smile and dance and he still remembers the day she was all praise for this same guy. 

Yes, he had met him and thought he was being silly when he tried to meet him in her college but he still doesn't like him.

 On V day too though that guy made him give roses to Sai he didn't want to look at him. He had completely ignored him because he wasn't sure how he would react to that guy. 

Sai thought the conversation was over because Virat stopped talking. She didn't know he was lost in thoughts and was not happy with it and had a mixed feeling about it. 

Virat then asked "Tumhari problem kya hai? Tum jaanthi bhi kitna ho usko? Sirf college mein milthi ho na? Dance toh samajh mein aa raha hai, par photoshoot ki kya zaroorat hai? Tumhein in sab mein koi problem nahi hai? Teek lag raha hai?"

Sai listens to him and she could see two things. One that Virat is not comfortable with the photoshoot and other that he hates Aniket. She also thinks if photoshoot is really a good idea and if she can actually skip it. She doesn't tell him anything, thinks she will refuse the next day in college and make some excuses. 

Virat looks at Sai and asks " Sai kya soch rahi ho? Yeh soch rahi ki tum mana kaise karogi? Tumhe chahiye toh mein baat kar sakta hoon?"

Sai gets irritated with it. She was confused as why it was bothering him so much. 

Why only now, has always been bothering. She thinks "yeh baar baar bhool kyun jaathey hain ki yeh samjhauthey waali shaadi hai?" "Aisa haq jatha rahein hai ki mano main sach mein unki biwi hoon".

Anyway she never thought much about photo shoot, she had just heard it from Aniket. 

She thinks of all the poses Virat showed her in the mirror, shivers a little. She is a dancer and so doesn't mind dancing.

She then decides that she doesn't want to be part of any photo shoot with anyone else.  

She then thinks "anyone else matlab?" "Matlab Virat sir ke saath teek hai?" She gets surprised with her own thoughts.

Virat snaps his fingers and brings her out of her thoughts. He keeps looking at her, change of expressions on her face from being confused to puzzled and then "shy?" and then  surprised. Wonders what is going on in her head for this long. 

 She says "aap ko kuch karne ki zaroorat nahi hai" "waise bhi yeh sab college mein chalta rahega, aapne kabhi friends ke saath photo nahi liya tha kya? Shayad aapke college ke waqt yeh sab nahi tha, iss generation mein yeh sab common hai".

Virat gets shocked hearing this and gets hurt thinking Sai can never look at him as he equal and will always think me to be an elderly person.

 He then tells with hurt "haan Sai mein toh iss generation ka nahi hoon, mujhe kaise pata hoga, tumhe jo karna hai karo, I am sorry". 

Sai looks at him and understands that she had hurt him unintentionally and she shouldn't have spoken about generation. 

She didn't know how to make him understand that these days it probably is a common thing and she didn't want to make a fuss out of it when Aniket asked.  She felt during Virat sir's college days that wouldn't have been the case. 

Sai holds Virat's hands and Virat looks at her with surprise and hurt, she then says "aisi baat nahi hai, aap mujhse itne bhi bade nahi ho, mein sirf yeh keh rahi thi ki ab yeh sab common hai shaayad" 

"main khud nayi hoon iss sheher mein aur GC mein toh yeh sab bilkul nahi hota hai". 

She then explains "agar main mana karoongi in logon ko lagega ki main fussy hoon kyunki ek toh mein gaav se hoon aur dusra kyunki mein shaadi shuda hoon aur mein nahi chahthi ki woh log samjhe ki mein kabhi  cooperate nahi kar rahi hoon".

Virat thinks I just cannot understand this girl. Her twin self is back. But he still was hurt and she could see it. She then tries to make him feel better 

"Aapko pata hai Virat sir, jis tarah se mein aapse baat kar paati hoon, share karti hoon, kabhi kisise nahi kar paati hoon. Aaba ke baad, mein sirf aapse khulke baat karti hoon aur kisi bhi cheez ke baare mein". 

Virat gets happy hearing it and looks at her but he thinks whatever it is, she probably thinks me to be old. 

He says with hurt still visible in his eyes "jo bhi ho tum toh mujhe dost bhi banana nahi chahthi thi aur mein tumhare college friends ke jaisa nahi hoon na".

Sai then tells "arey aap bhi toh mujhe bacchi bulate the, bhul gaye kya? Mujhe bhi kabhi pasand nahi aaya" she says and huffs and pouts. 

Then she says "phir aap kyun itna soch rahe hain aur waise bhi" she continues "kise ne kaha tha ki soch milni chahiye, umar mein kya hai" and looks at him with a lot of affection. 

Virat gets surprised and smiles thinking of their reception day when he gave the same reply to one of the aunties who said you have got married to a very young girl. 

He looks at Sai lovingly and smiles and nods his head and says "yeh accha hai, tum hi mujhe pareshaan karti ho aur" 

And before he could complete Sai says "aur main hi aapko mana bhi leti hoon, hain na?" She lifts her eyebrows and asks him. 

Virat laughs looking at her and nods saying yes. 

Sai makes a note of all this and decides that she will not bring age between them again unknowingly too and hurt him or make him feel this way ever again. 

But Virat doesn't leave, he again tries to probe her, "waise Sai tum Aniket ko toh teek se jaanthi ho na? Matlab woh ladka kaisa" he starts but Sai jumps in and says 

"Virat sir woh bahut accha ladka hai, aapko tabhi samajh mein aayega jab aap uske baare mein kuch jaan payenge". 

She continues "mujhe lagta hai hum teenon ko na milni chahiye ek baar kahi bahar, taaaki aap usko samajh paaye" "kya pata aap donon ke beech dosti bhi ho jaaye".

 She finishes with a smile unaware of how it had affected him.  

Virat was looking at her and was happy how she was explaining to him and was glad she was trying to convince him and how her approval of her friendship with Aniket mattered to her.

But he looks at her shocked at her last statement. He was like she wasn't ready to be his friend and wants to make her friend his friend and starts to get a little irritated but stops his thoughts in its tracks when he realises and thinks "if this is not the same thing he had done?". 

He looked at her and realised that she did not tell it as a retort to his try of getting her and Pakhi to be friends.

 He could feel that she just suggested it in a flow genuinely wanting him to get rid of his doubts about Aniket and to make him feel easy. 

But this realisation also made him think that if he could not even bear the thought of becoming friends with Aniket who has never meant any harm to him, how would have Sai felt when he had asked her to befriend Pakhi.

 Yes, his intentions were good behind suggesting it but it probably was not a good idea.

He thinks Sai can also get uncomfortable owing to the fact that she thinks I harbour feelings for Pakhi. But most importantly Pakhi doesn't treat Sai the way she should and always belittled her and taunts her with no fault of Sai. 

He then smiles at Sai and makes up his mind that if he cannot accept Aniket as his friend, he should stop trying to make them friends too, if it has to happen it will happen. 

She starts to sort her books on the table and was cleaning the table.

Virat takes Sai's hands in his and holds both her palms closes it using his hands and smiles at her and says "uski zaroorat nahi hai Sai".

She then looks at their hands and questions him through eyes as if asking him "yeh kya hai, aap toh aaj kal haath bahut pakad rahe ho" . 

Virat looks at her surprised as if understanding what she was questioning answering through his eyes "get used to it" with a small teasing cum flirting smile. 

She looks at him surprised but doesnt smile and both look at each other thinking "sach mein isse accha Chemistry to kisi ka nahi ho sakta" feeling happy and surprised as how sometimes they can understand each other without any words spoken. 

She understood her talking about age hurt him and he understood that he shouldn't be trying to make her friends with anyone without her wish. 

There have been times that even words spoken didn't make sense to each other.

 They both think that this bond and understanding is the everlasting chemistry one can ever have. 

I actually started to write it a few minutes before the episode and had almost finished. Just had to go through it and make some corrections. And then it was time for the episode, so could finish it only now. 

I had anyway written it without knowing what was in store for us in today's episode. But now that it was a really good one, I am too happy while posting this 😆😆.
