Chapter 1

In this story, Patralekha angle is not present in the story. She is that typical hum saath saath hai type bhabhi whom Virat considers his genuine best friend and Patralekha is very supportive of Virat, more than Samrat, (someone like Brinda of Bade achhe lagte hai)... If both couples Sai-Virat, Samrat-pakhi were kind of attracted/ in love before marriage and Aaba was alive, then how could have been the story...

Virat does not forget to charge his laptop or phone when he goes for the puja at Nasik Ghat... Everything is done smoothly... Then he does not go to yoga retreat as well, he is not a yoga enthusiast... He goes to Gadchiroli for his first Posting as ACP, gets to know about the local politician goon vitthat and jagtap mane and the ruckus created by them. He needs to take charge from his guru Kamal sir, whose daughter was a victim of atrocities of the father-son duo for the past 3 years. Sai, Kamal sir's daughter, is a 12th topper and he is called for her felicitation. He does not know that they have met already where by mistake the cab on which he was travelling spilled muddy water on Sai and her bike. She went to confront her, saw him smiling bit couldn't since the car drove... Hence the name 32 daant ka gabbar. She thought Virat did it on purpose, she started kind of hating him.. Jagtap started harrassing her more after the entry of the new ACP and threatening her to kill her Aaba... She started coaxing Virat more to sanction her Aaba's VRS. His VRS was sanctioned by Virat but Kamal did not want sai to know about it, misunderstandings were created in Sai's mind regarding Virat and his intentions to keep her Aaba in GC when they wanted to leave. She was scared for her Aaba's life. However, Kamal sir wanted to see Jagtap and Vitthal in the jail and get their punishment before he leaves GC.

Samrat is a yoga enthusiast... He got a break for 10 days. Before coming back to home, he goes to a yoga retreat on the way... There he meets Patralekha. They feel attracted. But he has to leave in 2 days.

Patralekha: arre it's okay Virat, ab to ho na... Khub masti karenge... Aur tumhare Jeeva ki khoob taang bhi kheechenge... They bond nicely...

Virat with Mohit-Karishma and sunny go back to their house after attending the festivities in Patralekha's house... They dance enjoy... Other functions, Sangeet, shaadi are grand... They all have hell lot of fun...

But on the day of shaadi, Virat gets a call from Kamal sir about Sai being kidnapped by Jagtap and that he was trying to forcefully marry her...

Virat informs everyone and leave... Everyone including Patralekha support his decision...

He goes... Leads the mission, saves Sai... Vitthal mane is arrested as in the show... Jagtap escapes...

Kamal sir and Virat come up with the plan to keep Sai in safe house... They don't tell sai about anything, locks her in the house knowing her rebellious nature... Only Virat knew about the location of safe house, not even Kamal sir...

Sai does not know where she is... She is tensed thinking if this is another ploy of jagtap to kidnap her, given that he escaped... She gets scared... Just then Kamal sir calls her on her phone and tells her about the whole set up of safe house...

Sai picks up the call...

Sai: Aaba, pata nahi mai ye bohot ajeeb se ghar me hu, darr lag raha hai...

Kamal sir: pata hai baada ye Virat sir ka plan tha tumhe safe rakhne ke liye...

Sai: furious... Virat sir... Aaba, inki problem kya hai... Pehle aapka VRS sanction nahi kiya, phir duty chhodkar shaadi attend karne chale gaye jiski wajah se mai kidnap ho gayi... Unki vajah se jagtap bhaag gaya... Ab mujhe aapse door bhi kar diya... Aap kab milne aa rahe hai mujhse? Varna mai aa jaau...

Kamal sir: nahi baada, tum aisa kuch nahi karogi... Jab tak safe house me ho safe ho, vaha se mat nikalna mere kasam aur mai bhi vaha nahi aa sakta. Vaha ka pata sirf Virat sir jaante hai...

Sai: phir Virat sir... Pat nahi kya problem hai us insaan ko... Cuts the call...

Kamal sir tensed... Sai bas theek rahe...

Sai sees through the house... Sits on the sofa... Thinks what to do...

Kamal sir calls her again... She doesn't pick up...

After sometime Sai feels bored and hungry...

Starts preparing poha when Virat calls...

Sai: pehle to saara plan karke mujhe akela chhod diya yaha, ab call kar rahe hai... Nahi uthaaungi... Kuch bhi kar lijiye...

Virat calls again..

He gets tensed thinking of something happening to sai.. He calls Kamal sir, asks him about her... Kamal sir tells him that she was fine he talked to her 5 minutes back... However, Virat wanted to confirm by talking to her once. He calls her once again.. this time Sai picks up...

Sai: kya hai... Kyu call kar rahe hai...

Virat: tumhe kya hai... Tum kyu nahi utha rahi thi mera call... Agli baar call karu to ek baar me uthaana, samajhla...

Sai: nahi samajhla... Kyu uthaau aapka call... Aapki vajah se mai yaha band hu...

Virat: sai... Jo kaha vaisa karo... Achha tumne kuch khaaya...

Sai: aapko kya

Virat: tum koi jawaab seedha seedha kyu nahi de sakti

Sai: aapki vajah se mai akeli hu yaha... Ab khaana bana banaaya to milega nahi na jaise Usha maushi banakar rakhti thi... Khud banakar khaana padta hai... Vohi kar rahi hu...

Virat goes to Kamal sir home to discuss about the Vitthal-jagtap mane's case. It's dinner time, usha maushi and Kamal sir request him to have dinner with them... Kamal sir refuse to eat worrying for Sai. Whether she would have eaten anything or not. Virat tells about her plans to have poha for dinner. They have dinner, resolve to catch jagtap asap. Just then Patralekha calls Virat...

Virat: hi Vahini... Aap adjust ho gaye humare Chavan Niwas me? Samrat kaisa hai?

Virat: kya aap bhi na Vahini... Bachchi hai vo... Kind of blushes...

Next day he remains busy in office... Jagtap's men keep an eye on him.. try to trap him to get Sai's whereabouts but can't get through... At night, while on duty, he gets Sai's call. She called him by mistake in the middle of her sleep... Virat picks up...

Virat: kya hua Sai? Sab theek to hai...

Sai: Aaba, aapki awaaz gabbar se kyu mil rahi hai...

Sai: 2 din se theek se khaana nahi khaaya ghar ka... Machchar bhi itne hai... Itne maze me hu, bhooke pet rock concert me machcharo ke saath part le rahi hu

Aur kuch and then Cuts the call...

Virat feels something weird... Observes some men keeping an eye on him... Goes to meet Sai in a milkman get up with food and mosquito repellent cream...

Sai gets alerted... Attacks him... Virat overpowers her.. she recognises him... Makes fun of his appearance... Asks why was he there...

Virat: kuch ajeeb sa laga jab tumne mera phone kaat diya, jaise mujhse apna connection tod liya ho...

Sai: humara koi connection nahi to tootega kaise... Aap kyu aaye, Aaba kyu nahi...

Virat: is jagah ke baare me mujhe hi pata hai.

Sai: pata nahi aaba wakt par davaai le rahe honge ki nahi. Aap unhe davaai lene bolenge ya khud khila dijiyega... Aapki baat nahi taalenge.

Virat gives her food and cream... Tells her to eat and he leaves.

Goes to Kamal sir's house next morning with medicine.. makes sure he has breakfast and then the medicine

Virat and Kamal sir plan to trap Jagtap... Final showdown similar to that in the show happen and they finally grab jagtap... Kamal sir, though shot, gets saved, recovers fast... He takes VRS, he and Sai with Usha Maushi shift to nagpur. Virat makes sure that Vitthal and Jagtap remain jailed.. Virat too comes back to nagpur... They don't meet for 5 years...

Meanwhile, Virat couldn't forget the GC days, the nokjhok between him and Sai, the affinity he felt towards Kamal sir and his family. Many-a-times, while eating food... He got reminded of his times at GC with Kamal sir and Sai. He started watching Sholay movie whenever he was free to remember how Sai called him Gabbar. He thought maybe, just maybe if he could propose Sai or ask Kamal sir about the prospect of the two but shrugged the thought...

Virat (to himself): nahi Virat, vo bohot choti hai tujhse... Aise kaise soch sakta hai tu aur ye yaad rakh ki vo tere guru ki beti hai... Agar Kamal sir ko pata chala to vo kya sochenge... Apni feelings apne paas rakhunga mai...

Virat got posted in various difficult missions. He was dedicated to his job. His track record was very good. He got promoted to additional DCP post. Virat: aapne sai se baat ki?

Kamal sir: aapki baato se lag raha hai aapko interest nahi hai... Koi baat nahi, sai ke liye aur bhi rishte aaye hai... Mai unme se kisi ko ha bol dunga...

Virat: (anxious) nahi mujhe pasand hai na... Mai karunga sai se shaadi. Maine aajtak kabhi nahi kaha kyunki mujhe laga aap mere guru hai, kya sochenge aap mere baare me...

Just then sai enters...

Sai: Aaba, chale? Arre Virat sir... Aapko yaha dekhkar mai itna chauk gayi par achha laga aapse milkar... Aaba mujhse aapki itni baat karte the roz...

Virat: kaisi ho... Ab to doctor ban gayi... Kaisa lag raha hai...

Sai: ab ye kya questions hai... Kaisa lagega... Bohot achha lag raha hai... Ab mera kahi junior resident ke liye selection ho jaaye, phir PG me orthopaedics me... Abhi kuch din me mere entrance exams bhi hai...

Kamal sir: Virat sir se ashirwaad le lo... Dekho jaise ye additional DCP ban gaye itni jaldi tumhara bhi selection ho jaayega...

Sai: folds her hand but does not touch Virat's feet. Virat gets happy... Blesses her that all her dreams come true and Kamal sir blesses them both...

Kamal and Sai both take Virat's leave... Virat's heartbeats are fast... He is too excited...

Kamal and Sai reach home. They go freshen up in their respective rooms. Sai comes to Kamal with his medicine. Kamal is nervous about how to tell Sai about his decision to get her married to Virat...

Sai: ye lijiye aaba, ye davaai lijiye aur so jaaiye... Aaj thoda late hua iska matlab ye nahi ki aap kal late uthe aur apna jogging aur yoga schedule miss kare...

Kamal sir: Ho, Maajhi aai... Aaj maine ek faisla liya hai Sai... Tujhe tere Aaba ke faisle par koi shak to nahi hai na... Mai jo bhi karunga tere bhale ke liye karunga...

Sai: aap aise dara kyu rahe hai Aaba, aapne koi faisla liya hai to achha hi hoga... Kya hua... Paheli mat bujhaaye, saaf saaf bataaye...

Kamal sir: dekh sai, ab tu doctor ban gayi... Humara sapna poora hua... Teri shaadi ki umra bhi ho gayi... Rishte bhi bohot aa rahe hai tere liye... Mai bhi buddha hota jaa raha hu... Maine ek rishta pasand kiya hai tere liye... Virat sir se baat ki maine...

Sai: shocked... Aaba ye kab kiya aapne...

Kamal sir: vahi tere function me jab tu apne dosto ke saath busy thi...

Sai: vaha??? Kya Aaba? Aise koi karta hai.. aap bhi na... Vo kya bole? Aur unhone ab tak shaadi kyu nahi ki?

Kamal sir: maine unki aankho me tere liye pyaar dekha hai baada... Vo aaj bhi tera intezaar kar rahe hai... Tujhe unse achha ladka nahi mil sakta... Ye meri guarantee hai...

Meanwhile, Virat enters super happy into the Chavan Niwas...

Patralekha who was taking water to her room from kitchen, spots him dreaming with open eyes...

Virat: nahi Vahini, sab normal hai aisa kuch nahi hai... Embarassed, blushing...

Patralekha: normally to tum itne pink nahi dikhte Virat aur bohot time se maine tumhe itna khush bhi nahi dekha... Tumhari awaaz me vo khushi ki khanak tab sunne ko milti thi jab tum Gadchiroli me posted the aur phone par baat kiya karte the... Uske baad tumhari khushi kahi phurr ho gayi... Aaj phir nazar aa rahi hai... Kya hua? Kisi se mile? 

Virat: in his dreamworld, usse mila... Thinking about Sai...

Patralekha: usse kisse?

Virat: comes back to his senses... Tries to control his emotions... Vo mai aaj nagpur medical college ke convocation me gaya tha... Vaha mujhe Kamal sir dikhe aur aapko pata hai Vahini... The best outgoing student kaun tha?

Patralekha: mujhe bataane do... Tumhari Sai... Haina?

Virat: aapko kaise pata? Aur aapne kya kaha? Meri sai?

Patralekha: nahi hai kya?... Smiles

Virat: aisa kuch nahi hai...

Patralekha: achha to kisi suresh ki Sai hogi.. teases him...

Virat: suresh?

Patralekha: tumhari nahi to kisi ki to hogi na...

Virat: have flashbacks of Kamal sir telling him that many prospective alliances are lined up for Sai and he is in a hurry to get her married given his deteriorating health and growing age... Comes to realisation... Nahi, meri sai, sirf meri sai....

Patralekha: laughs...

Next day, Virat calls Kamal sir who fixes the meeting of Virat and Sai in a cafe... Both are happy but awkward... They have mutual respect, adoration and attraction for each other... 

Patralekha tells the family about Sai as Virat was too shy. The alliance is fixed... Roka is done, followed by engagement within a week... They date for a year. Both have really busy schedules, take extra effort and time to spend time... Love each other's company, understand each other. They plan for outings, dinner dates, lunch dates, however their time permits. 

Sai is a junior resident, preparing for entrance exams... She couldn't get a seat in orthopaedics in her preferred college... Hence, thought to give a try the next year.
