Baiko, bhav khaati kaiko... Mai hai na, tere saath shaadi karega aur suhaagraat manaayega... Jagtap and Sai standing in a mandap as groom and bride, with jagtap holding a garland in hand.

Baada, tera Aaba hai... Ye Jagtap tera kuch nahi bigaad paayega. Tere tak pohochne ke liye ise mujhse hokar guzarna padega.... Kamal sir standing at some distance, overpowered by jagtap goons.

Kya sasur ji, aap bhi kya bol rahe ho... Apne hone wale jamaai se koi aise baat karta hai kya...

Jagtaaap...

Kya karoge, mujhe maaroge ya jail me daaloge...

He holds Sai forcefully by her face... Closes her mouth by his hand... Chal baiko byah karte hai... Dekhte hai kaun kya karta hai...

While taking the glass Virat's fingers brushed Sai's but she jerked it. She is scared of male touch now...

Virat sleeps after calming her a bit but she can't.

Next day, she goes to college... Tired because she couldn't sleep the whole night...

She started keeping a light on... A constant fear that jagtap maybe stalking her... Might enter into her room at night... Might harm Virat the same way he did with Kamal sir...

Virat due to exhaustion, sleeps... Sai still cannot... After long, she sleeps... Has the same dream... Again wakes up similarly...

GC se aaye bhi tumhe kitna time ho gaya... Virat says... Vaha kuch hua tha kya...

Sai starts hyperventilating at the mention of GC.

Virat: kya hua hai sai...

Sai: mujhe us baare me baat nahi karni...

Virat tries to get close to comfort her... Maine aapko kaha na mujhe nahi pasand aap mere paas aaye... Sai retaliates...

Okay, okay... Nahi aaunga... Virat calms her down... She faces the opposite side, while Virat keeps seeing her...

Mujhe Sai se is baare me baat karni padegi...

Sai too knows that Virat would want to know about her nightmares but she doesn't want to share. She came back but is indifferent to Virat after the whole ousting kand he did...

The words like mere aur Sai ke beech jo bhi rishta hai mai tod raha hu, still ring in her ears...

She came back because of her responsibility towards the person who took her responsibility and also fulfilled it, who is her husband by society standards... He took her responsibility, cared for her... She is taking his responsibility, is caring for him till the time he joins his duty back...

She tried to raise her grievances but he told her not to bother about past... She stopped trying and with that she also stopped being open to him, showing her warm affectionate self to him...

Next day morning,

He asked her if he could drop her to college... Sai refused... And gave a sarcastic reply... Aur kitna chhodenge Virat sir??

Virat didn't seem to catch the meaning behind the sentence...others did...

She started being more cautious, carrying a small knife and pepper spray, mainly for jagtap and his goons and also for other miscreants because GC ki teekhi mulgi is self-sufficient.

Virat sir, Virat sir...running out of breath... Ye kaunsa jungle hai...yaha se baahar kaise niklu... Jagtap se to bach gayi... Jaldi se Chavan niwas pohoch jaau...

Wow, Chavan Niwas... Jungle mein? Jaldi se andar chali jaati hu... Goes and knocks at the door... Kholo kholo... Mohit... Shivani bua.... Virat sir... Aai.... Koi to kholo... Jaldi kholo.... She again turns towards the opposite side and he keeps looking at her the whole night, thinking how can he help her...

The next day, he does not ask to drop her knowing her answer and reaction very well...he deploys two police officers in casual clothes to keep a tab on her movement...they try to follow her but Sai being sharp catches them and uses her pepper spray and knife to shoo them off...

Tum logo ko kya laga Sai Joshi ko daraaoge... Sach bataana jagtap ke aadmi ho na... vo mera GC me kuch nahi bigaad paaya to yaha nagpur me kya karega... Ruko tum log, apne husband ACP Virat Chavan ko call karke bataati hu... Tum unki wife ka peecha kar rahe ho...

Now the undercover police officers are scared... They tell her about their secret mission and how they were deputed by Virat himself... Sai gets very angry, thinks of calling and blasting Virat then and there but then thinks to confront him face to face. She asks the officers not to say anything about whatever happened. 

They reach the police station, where Virat is surprised to see them before time...they try to make up reasons but Virat threatens them with their job and promotion, so they reveal about Sai's fear of jagtap but hide the whole thing where Sai caught them up...

He goes home, sai is already there. She is calmer than other days... Less indifferent than other days after coming back. Virat is alarmed by the sudden change of behaviour but lets it go... Thinking she is in a good mood thinks of starting to talk about her fears and jagtap...

Sai, tumhe kuch share karna hai... Jo tum bohot dino se kar nahi paa rahi ho?

Nahi to Virat sir... Sab theek hai...

Achha tumne bataaya nahi... GC me sab kaise hai?

Aapko kya? Aapne to mujhe aur usha maushi ko nikaal diya tha... Vaise vo theek hai...

Sai... He tries to explain but seeing Sai's expressions, he knows that she won't answer...

Then the most dreaded one.. jagtap.... And Sai's fuse goes...aap yahi jataana chahte hai na ki aapne mujhe jagtap aur Vitthal maane se bachaaya... Aap mujhe shaadi karke is ghar me lekar aaye yaha nagpur me... Par aap ye bhi mat bhooliye Virat sir aapne mujhe nikaal diya tha aadhi raat ko ghar ke baahar... Ek ips officer hokar aap aise kaise kar sakte the...GC jaana pada aur vaha vo jagtap... She doesn't complete and goes off to study... Doesn't talk at all. Virat tries but she ignores... Then sleeps...

Sai sees herself falling into a deep ditch... Keeps falling and finally reaches the ground... Thud... She wakes up all anxious... Virat is awake... Gives her water... Tries to calm her by his assuring words...

I am sorry Sai...gusse me pata nahi mujhse kya ho jaata hai... While Sai's heart rate is still not in control... Jagtap ne tumhe pareshaan kiya kya... Aaj maine check kiya tha, GC police station ke saath vo aur Vitthal maane abhi bhi jail me hai.. maine unse special request ki hai ki vo dono kabhi jail se baahar na aaye...

Virat sir, ye sab kuch itna aasaan nahi hai... Aapko nahi pata GC ki police aur saare politician Vitthal mane ki mutthi me hai. Vo on records andar hai but vaise baahar hai... Aapke ya kisi aur ke kuch bhi karne se kuch nahi hoga...

Theek se bataao sai kya hua hai?

Aapne to mujhe aur usha maushi ko nikaal diya tha. GC me pohochte hi pari ne saare gaaowalo ko ikattha karke mujhe aur usha maushi ko unse milwaaya. Pari ke ghar rahe, vo log mujhe bus tak chhodne bhi aaye par mai ye bhool gayi thi ki jaha sabko pata hai Sai vaapas aa gayi hai, vaha jagtap aur uske father ko bhi pata chal jaayega... Bus ka wait karte wakt, kuch ajeeb se log mujhpar nazar rakhe hue the. Ek van bhi mere saamne aakar raki, unhone mujhe usme daalna chaaha... Ye bolkar ki jaggi bhau apni dulhan ka intezaar kar rahe hai... Vo to kale kaka the vaha, unhone mujhe bacha liya aur bus bhi time se aa gayi... Bus me bhi ek ajeeb sa koi jagtap ka dost aakar mere peeche betha aur bolne laga ki Sai, tu bhaag jaha bhaagna chahti hai... Baiko to tu bhau ki hi banegi... Maine shor machaaya to conductor aaye par tab tak vo bus se utar gaya aur bhaag gaya...

Virat is enraged...his eyes blood red... Aur tumne mujhe bataana zaroori nahi samjha...

Kaise bataati, aapne mujhse apne saare rishte jo tod liye the...

Sai lays down with bad headache due to the nightmare and crying. 

Virat gets a medicine for her. I am sorry sai... Meri wajah se tumhe itna kuch sehna pada...but mai tumse vaada karta hu jagtap tumhe chhoo bhi nahi paayega...

Ab mujhe usse hi nahi aapse bhi darr lagne laga hai Virat sir. Na jaane aap agle pal kya kar jaaye...

Jo bhi karunga achha hi karunga tumhare liye sai... Ab so jaao...

Aap bhi so jaaiye... Abhi abhi aapko goli lagi thi, aap jaldi theek nahi hue to kaku mujhse kahengi ki is jungli mulgi ne apne pati ka theek se khayaal nahi rakha...

Virat smiles at the word 'pati'... Goes to sleep with a resolve to solve this jagtap chapter... 

He thinks to make a surprise visit to GC jail to check if Jagtap and Vitthal are there and know the status of their punishment.

He goes for a surprise check, both of them are not there in jail. He deploys a special police force after them, get them back to jail. He makes sure that they are booked under non bailable offence and that they are not out. Warns the whole jail Staff for their negligence. He enters their jail cell using his power and beats them up badly for thinking to come close to his wife and scaring her but jagtap and his father remain shameless.

Virat can now understand the magnitude of the effect his actions taken in anger, have on others he claims to love... He thinks to make up to Sai for his mistakes and 'promises' himself to protect her, not to take her granted...but do his promises (Vaadas) last, that's the question...🤭

Sai's traumas are never addressed in the show... The biggest till date is Jagtap fiasco and ousting drama. How they are brushed aside by the story tellers is worrisome. Some thoughts came to my mind, thought of writing this OS. Sai has been victim of harassment, would have loved to see her all scared and apprehensive at Virat's touch, would have loved how they bring about that aspect organically. But it's too much to ask from the writers... Was remembered of this touch part by day before yesterday's episode.
