[NOCOPY]Hellow lovely people,

Veeru continues to be a flirty and Harini is number one fangirl of her Veeru mamu.

SaiRat are like two sixteen years old teenagers who do stupid things and then laugh at their own stupidity.

Mohit is back teasing SaiRat. I missed writing on the naughty Mohit.

Finally the back story of LunRat is here and the reason why they never dated each other. This is the past story idea I had in my mind when I first introduced Luna in the story. Back then I wasn't sure if I wanted LunRat to happen. I was hesitating between turning Pakhi positive with Luna reuniting SamRakhi, making LunRat a couple or keep Samrat alone.
But seeing how much LunRat is loved, at some point even more than SaiRat, I kept on writing more and more on them. I still don't know what I want to do with them but unlike before when I really wanted to write their inaccessible love story (Yes, I know I sound like a sadist sometimes), now I feel like Luna deserves to be one of the main characters of the story.

That's all I have to say about the chapter. Hoping you will enjoy it.

Thankyou !

Harini and Virat were giggling about something only they knew. When asked by others why they were laughing Virat signed her to zip her mouth. Harini giggled again. Her giggle was so contagious that everyone laughed without understanding anything.

« Veeru mamu let's tell them. », Harini said.
« No Harini, it's a secret between you and me. », he said putting his finger on his lips.

She laughed again and couldn't keep the secret anymore, « Veeru mamu is wearing two different socks. »
Virat facepalmed, « Kar di na meri beizzati. », then he looked at Sai and innocently complained like a typical husband, « What to do, your Sai mami never helps me in choosing the right things. »

Sai wanted to reply that he wasn't a kid but she couldn't stop blushing. Seeing both the kid and her mamu giggle for such a small thing made everyone laugh. It's good to have children in the house for unlimited happiness and the childness that's inside everyone.

« Luna mami », Harini suddenly said with excitement.

Everyone turned their heads towards the entrance. Luna was standing there. Harini ran to her and pulled her inside by holding her hand. The light hearted moment was stopped by silence. Luna and Samrat looked awkwardly at each other as the little kid desperately wanted them to be together.

« Hey ladki she is not your mami. », Bhavani yelled at her.
« Harini is a kid. Speak to her calmly and she will understand. », Luna said to teach Bhavani some basic rules.
« Cruella ! », both Harini and Devyani murmured at the same time.

They highfived excitedly then felt awkward. This was the first time that both the mother and the daughter were sharing a bond. Everyone looked happy but didn't say a word. All the people who wanted Devyani and Harini to bond as mother and daughter had somewhere in their mind that Bhavani unwillingly does wonders sometimes. Everyone was startled by someone's slow clap.

« So the truth is here. The main reason to get divorced is to romance openly with your lover or should I say your mistress. », Pakhi said.
« Watch your words, Patralekha. », Samrat shouted at her.
« Protective. Nice. », Pakhi said sarcastically.
« You know what Patralekha, you are a shameless person. Ever heard about making yourself smaller when you have something to hide ? Don't force me to tell everyone your deepest secret. », Samrat said menacingly.
« Leave it. Not worth it. », Luna calmed him down grabbing by the shoulder.

Sai handled the situation by inviting everyone to the dining table. During the conversations, Samrat informed everyone that he was going to resume his duty from next week. The elders were very happy. Luna informed Samrat that she was also leaving the next week.

Just after the lunch, Harini insisted on helping the elders in serving the dessert while the rest of the family members were chatting in the living room.

« This is for you Luna mami... sorry sorry... Luna aunty. », she extended the dessert to her.
Luna took it with a smile and corrected her, « Your mami is Patralekha. »
« She ? She... doesn't sound... vibrant like you and Sai mami. », she said hesitantly.
« Vibrant ? Do you even know what this word means ? », Sai laughed.
« It means energetic like a vibrating phone. Isn't it ? », she said confused.

Most of them laughed. Even Ninad couldn't hide his smile. They didn't know what was funnier ? Her being smart for her age or the example given.

« Why are you so cute ? », Sai asked squeezing her cheek.
« Perhaps it runs in the family. », she ran to sit next to Virat. « Veeru mamu is cute so am I. », she said proudly.
« Excuse me Veeru mamu ki chamchi, we are also very cute ok ? », Mohit said moving next to Samrat.
« Yes, but we are cuter. », Harini said highfiving Virat.
« The truth always comes out of children's mouths. », Virat smirked at Sai.
« You are the cutest but your Veeru mamu isn't cute. », Sai teased with a smirk.
« Don't lie Sai mami. I know you find him cute too. You just want to tease him and that's not nice. », Harini replied savagely.

Everyone was shocked but burst out laughing. Sai blushed and gave up because winning against this little girl was impossible. Virat looked at her and fanned himself to show that he was the hottest. Pakhi was annoyed by the family drama. Everyone insults her including a ten years old kid.

Later that night Samrat went to the balcony to enjoy the fresh air. He always had a great chemistry with Luna as best friends. Even during college time their friendship was famous among the students. No doubt that even a kid could see it but the way she was mentioning Luna as his life partner was disturbing. Samrat and Luna as one was impossible. He didn't want to go back to that zone but even if he didn't want to he couldn't stop his mind from recalling the past. He was having fun with his mates in the corridor of the college when he saw her for the first time. A classy woman from her young age, she was in her professional attire. He still remembered how she looked that day. She was wearing a dark green silky shirt tucked in a pair of black pants. Her silky and straight hair blowing in the wind and with the click clack of her high heels, she passed hurriedly by him glancing at him. That glance and that beauty were enough for him to be blown away by her. The following days he literally felt as if he was flying like a butterfly and the guitar playing in his heart. A few weeks later they were paired together on a project giving him the perfect occasion to befriend her. They had spent hours in the library and cafés which brought them pretty close. She was introduced to his friends and she brought more friends in the group. Both were very similar. They loved having fun and making fun of each other. She was that strong headed girl he always dreamed of. She was that girl who could talk openly about anything. With passing weeks and months, his feelings were getting stronger. She was his dream girl. Fire, smart, savage, fearless, determined to prove herself, strong minded, beauty, funny, cute... she was everything. Their friendship became stronger and quite famous. If in the first year he didn't have the courage to confess his feelings, in the following year he gave up on the idea of confessing. He was aware of her commitment phobia. Initially she couldn't even tag him as a friend even though they were best of buddies. She was that strange girl who could stay away for months and then come back like she had never left. She was like a storm. That's why years back he decided not to ruin their friendship by wanting more and with time his feelings also faded away. Today Harini reminding him that she could have been his life partner, all his feelings came back to the surface.

Luna lay down on her bed and took a book from the bedside table to read. She couldn't open it, lost in her thoughts. Samrat was only a friend yet he always made her feel so different. A decade of friendship but she could still remember that day when they had to work on a project together. It took her only two days to realize that he was trying to befriend her because he was attracted to her. Physically he wasn't the type of guy she would get attracted to but he had a great personality. She started to love their moments spent together as friends. She had a great sense of humor which always matched with his. They were both so bold, fun loving and fighters. Young and stupid, she used to get affected by the conflicts with her father. Samrat was that confident who would listen to her stupid complaints, face her grumpiness and also lift her mood. Slowly her heart started to feel for him as the wonderful person he was. She knew that he never had the courage to confess his love and she was so grateful to him. Thanks to her father she was wounded for life. Neither did she have the time for a relationship nor did she want to destroy someone's life like her father did with his family. She was aware that she was an exact copy paste of him. The reason why she hated him she had it in her blood too. His determinations to become someone, fight for the country, make his name in the society was more important than his family. Her determination was to prove that she didn't need anyone to survive and could fight any situation alone. He wanted to become the great while she wanted to fly like a free bird. He selfishly wanted everything but she selflessly kept everyone away from a miserable life she could offer. She had seen her mother, brother, grandparents suffer because of him. She didn't want to be the reason of anyone's pain. She always loved the fact that Samrat valued their friendship more than his feelings and never forced her to reciprocate his it.

Samrat looked at his phone, his fingers itching to dial Luna's number. Luna looked at her phone from far. She wanted to pick it up and call him. Both controled their desires and decided to stay away from their phones.

Virat and Sai spent a few hours talking about anything and everything in their room. In the middle of the night they were hungry and wanted to eat something. In the darkness they stumbled on something and fell down. The entire house was awaken by the sound of a vase breaking. Everyone rushed downstairs and once they switched on the lights they found the couple on top of each other with unstoppable giggles. If it was a an embarrassing vision for everyone, it was very casual for them.

« Kya ho raha hai yahan ? », Bhavani asked angrily.
« Pyaar ho raha hai. », Mohit murmured.

Mohit and Samrat looked at each other with a chuckle. Pakhi clenched her fist in anger. Virat and Sai were so lost into each other that it took them some time to realize everyone's presence. Sai got up and extended her hand to help him get up. They innocently looked down trying hard not to laugh. But the way they fell down was still too fresh in their head and they burst out laughing at the same time as Bhavani was about to scold them. Feeling disrespected she lashed out at them.

« Now go back to your room. », Bhavani ordered.
« But we are hungry. », Sai replied.
« GOOO !!! », Bhavani screamed.

Both went upstairs making sad faces. Bhavani then told everyone to go back to sleep. Once the lights switched off and everyone back to their rooms, Virat and Sai came out of their hiding place and giggling silently ran to the kitchen. In the darkness sitting on the countertop they finished a box full of ice cream, the leftover kheer and a jar of snacks.

The next morning Karishma came to the kitchen and immediately rushed to inform the entire family about the horror she just saw. They all came down and found both of them asleep. He was sitting leaned against the wall with his head resting on the fridge. She was asleep on his lap. Pissed that they didn't follow her orders, Bhavani went to get some ice cubes and threw on them.

« Ice cream khana hai ? », she asked.
« Kaku... », they jerked awake.
« Are you even ashamed of anything or there is no shame left in you ? », Bhavani asked.
« But hunger makes you do awful things. », Virat said innocently.
« We are sorry. », Sai finished his sentence.

They stared at each other with a smile. The elders left shaking their heads that even after the scolding they were still romancing so openly. Only Ashwini stayed to help them.

« Dil ko karar aaya tujhpe hai pyaar aaya pehli pehli baar aaya. », Mohit sang to tease them.
« Dil ko khayal aaya tujhe joote se maara jaaye yeh bhi pehli pehli bar hoga. », Virat jumped from the countertop and ran behind him.

Samrat laughed seeing his brothers. Sai blushed. Seeing her like this he smiled at her. He could feel it that both were falling in love.

Karishma brought a cup of coffee in Bhavani's room. She was lost in her thoughts. So many things were going on in the house. Her first preoccupation was that the new generation was slipping through her fingers. Sai's influence on Virat was scary. He was blinded by love. He was the strongest amongst all the kids and always went against the wrong doings so she wasn't that much surprised seeing his insolence towards her. Samrat who decided to get a divorce was a shock though. She wondered if Pakhi's crimes were the only reasons to take such a harsh decision or there was something else. She wondered what was that secret of Pakhi he manaced to reveal. She needed to talk with the boys. She needed to get her powers back.

Samrat was in the car waiting outside Luna's house. He didn't know what he was doing there. He only knew that in a week things would become like before. Both will go back to work and won't meet for months. He wanted to spend these last days with her. He came out of the car and went inside the house. Her mother gave him the permission to go to her room. He knocked on the door and entered. She was
reading a book lying on her stomach on the bed. She looked up when the door opened and surprised seeing him she sat up. He was also surprised seeing her in a light pink churidar suit. He never saw her in Indian dresses other than during the big functions. Even if he loved her professional look the most, there was nothing better than Indian look. And she knew how to blow away his mind with her Indian outfits.

« What are you doing here ? Is everything fine ? », she asked.
« Yeah... I just wanted to spend the last days with you. », he made himself confortable on the bed.
« Ok... but let's eat first. I am hungry. », she said.

She called the cook from the landline phone and instructed him to set the table on the terrace for two. She knew that Samrat loved the fresh air and the sunny weather of their terrace. Fifteen minutes later they were sitting face to face with dishes worthy of a restaurant. He looked at her lavish lifestyle but still so down to earth behavior with the cook like if he was a family member.
