Siddhant opens the door to his room only to find it absorbed in the dark with silence being its companion, He eyes the darkness and lets out a defeated sigh. He entered inside to mix into the darkness, another day ends here after his unsuccessful attempts to ask forgiveness from her.

It's been 4 days since she left him, the day Roli went he was thinking to win her again by any means, he was confident in his love but it doesn't seem so. Every day he dials up her number to ask forgiveness, to ask her to come back but she won't agree, leave that, she won't even talk to him more than a few words, and today was the day when she felt that her patience was running low so she tried to block all the way to contact her.

That day she left the house to get some peace, away in a new environment far from the people who betrayed her belief out from the place that holds the memory of Shourya to the extent which still makes her shiver. When she left she didn't care to notify them about coming back nor did she turn to look at them who were pleading to stop, begging forgiveness. She just left. In all that Siddhant was the silent spectator, he didn't say anything, he let her go because he knew it was too late to ask her to stay. Somewhere he knew that Roli needs time and he was ready to give her time that's what he thinks but according to Roli he isn't giving her any time by calling her every day, She didn't want Siddhant to intrude on her space so today she had her mobile switched off along with a warning to not try with her family members too else she will be forced to take the step which she doesn't want to.

Siddhant kept his bag on the table in the room then dragged himself to his bed and fell on his stomach burying his head more into it, and after a moment he let his tears fall freely wetting the bedsheet. Her absence was already killing him making him remember the times he had promised her to keep her happy and safe but he couldn't, the guilt inside him was slowly showing its effect in his actions, in his appearance, he is no more that happy Siddhant whose face glows with a sweet smile enough to make any girl drool over him, his face now is always gloomy, dark circles encircling the pitch under his eyes giving the evidence of sleepless nights, his eyes always holds the tears of regret in them, and his weak body shows his carelessness. Him being lost every time depicts only his physical presence not mental... His heart, mind, and soul are still stuck with Roli.

On the other hand, Roli too wasn't on her own, She too is lost in deep thoughts trying to find some conclusions about what she wants from her life furthermore, how can she bring herself out of this fiasco and move on without taking any remanence from the past to be the hurdle in her future. She is unable to decide what has caused her more hurt Shourya - by his cunning plans, or Family - by their betrayal over belief. What she wants to forget first, the nightmares she still had of the attacks made by Shourya or the absence of family members especially her Siddhant Ji in the times when she needed them the most. She doesn't know if she will be able to trust them again if she will be able to forgive them if she will be ready to be with him again... A part of her heart is still in its beliefs that Siddhant is the person with whom she would feel safe but something is holding her to accept it right away.

Her family, Maa, Papa, and Gautam has surely given her their support and have made her feel welcomed when she was a little scared with thoughts of what if? But seeing their concern had made her feel warm and slightly happy in their presence but her inner turmoil was something making her feel vulnerable in her life.

Two days have been passed since Siddhant had heard her voice, even earlier she wasn't talking much but those few words from her were enough for him to complete his day but now at the end of the day he would just silently lean on his bed clutching his mobile tight having her number open on the screen fighting a battle within to dial or not and at last, cries for not having enough courage to dial her home and try to converse with her. Mumbling thousands of sorry he slept yet again with an empty stomach.

In the morning sun rays fall on his face disturbing his sleep, squinting his eyes he mumbles "Roli, please close the curtains"

"No, Siddhant Ji you have already slept too much"

"A little more Roli" He whimpered turning to another side trying to hide his face from the piercing sunlight to prevent his sleep for a few more minutes.

"Not even a minute, get up now or else I'll use my other ways to wake you up"

'Other ways' are really a threat for him, and he knows what it would be - bath on the bed. And he surely doesn't want that so finally opened his eyes to glare at his wife who is hell-bent to wake him up. But, the room was empty, where is she? He was sure that he heard her voice, didn't he? He shoots up not seeing her near their bed as he thought she would be. Rounding his eyes in all the directions he noticed how messy his room is and that's what has reminded him that She is not here. She has left him, almost a week ago. That means the voices he heard were his imaginations, a beautiful imagination behind the harsh reality.

Tears found their way down the cheeks when realization took place, he covered his face behind the palms and cried "I can't live without you, I just can't"

Crying over his mistakes, mumbling sorry, praying for her to come back he gets out of his bed then lazily gotten fresh up to start his day, every corner of his room kept reminding him of her, how much he tries to shove off her thoughts to make it a normal day but he can't, he just can't stay without her near him. Her absence was giving him pain, and his mind was good enough to make him realize how she might have felt for his absence beside her even after he was there. He knew he did mistakes and is ready to bear any punishments she gives, for now, it is to stay away from him and he wants to accept it but he is unable to. These days were enough to make him realize what he had lost and how much important she was to him to breathe. He really wanted to make it up to her and like every day he vowed it today too to get her back in his life and give her all the happiness she deserves, to make her believe in him again, to give her all the love he can and he knew he can't be able to achieve it if he doesn't try to be an active part around her, and as she has blocked his virtual presence so the only option left for him is to go to her, in Vrindavan.

Siddhant comes out of the cab after paying him, putting his bag on the shoulder he took steps near her house, his heart flutters in fear of what her reaction will be. Tears tried to spill out of his eyes with a thought that what if she didn't allow him inside then, what if she asks him to go... With all these thoughts he finally reached the doorstep and peep inside to have a glimpse of what is happening but what he saw had made him freeze on his spot.

Roli was there with a little smile on her face standing inside someone's arms, a man to be precise... Both were hugging each other and he can see the guy was cooing something in her ears to which she smacks on his shoulder and he broke the hug with a happy laugh making her chuckle too.

She was happy, he can see that, it was on her face and that's what made tears fall from his eyes, not because of the smile on her face but because of the reason that it was not him who caused it but some other man. Pain with slight jealousy arises in his heart, how every day he has wished to be there at the place of this man where he will engulf her in his embrace and would tease her to make her laugh. Wiping his tears taking a long breath fixing his eyes on that man he knocked on the door.

Everyone turned to look at the visitor and found Siddhant with his bag standing there, everyone was in their own thoughts seeing him at the doorstep.

Meena and Jamanalal both were looking at him with mixed feelings, they were sad too on knowing what had happened but somewhere they were holding a little hope that he will come to mend the things between him and Roli, and today here he is.

Gautam was also not sure how to react, for him, Siddhant was the favorite one, but the things which had happened with Roli had saddened him too, every time he used to play pranks on Roli, used to tease her, irritate her but when he heard her being near death shuddered him in the fear of losing her, this has made him caring towards her and upset with Siddhant.

The man, Rohan, who was Roli's best friend from the neighborhood looked at Siddhant narrowing his eyes, from the time Roli has come here he can feel her rooted off and the mention of Siddhant would make her lips curve down, this gave him a hint that something has happened between the two and now seeing Siddhant at the doorstep with red eyes and a little pale face made his doubt clear that something was there for sure. He tried to ask Roli before but she shrugs the matter every time.

And Roli, She didn't know how to react, what to feel exactly, she really hasn't expected him to be here but also she can't deny that she is somewhere happy to see him after a week. His appearance made her sad a little bit but it dumped down below the weightage of hurt he has caused.

Meena took the lead and moved forward to greet him "Siddhant beta, come inside, why standing there and when did you come"

"Just now Maa" He replied bending down to take her blessings.

Meena blessed him with a low smile on her face caressing his head a little, Siddhant looked up into her eye, displeasure was evident in her eye making him feel guilty even more, he has hurt not only Roli but everyone in here and giving a glance at everyone he decided to ask forgiveness to every person present in this room, except that Man. His reverie was broken by Meena's voice "Gautam, take his bag inside"

Nodding to her Gautam advanced towards Sid but before that, Sid spoke "No, it's ok, I'll keep it"

Saying so he came inside, stood nearby Roli, and gave her a glance who was still gazing at him, their eyes locked for a second making both of them tear up, holding their tears back, Roli looked away while Sid moved to Jamanalal to take his blessings, "How are you, Papa " He asked slowly trying to ease the tension in the atmosphere with the casual talk.

"Fine, I guess" He replied keeping his sound quite formal, unlike other times.

Siddhant nodded them waved to Gautam "Hi..."

"Hi" Gautam too says back giving a little smile at him.

Siddhant's face became small recalling how in the past whenever he visited here with Roli, Gautam will run up to him and will start sharing about his plans which he would use to trouble Roli but today this silent behavior made him cry.

Rohan makes a move towards Sid and introduced himself "Hi, I'm Rohan, Roli's bestest friend, I stay here only in the nearby house, its been long since I met Roli, every time some or the other reason came up and we can't meet, when now finally I can then I don't think we both want to lose this opportunity to spend some time together,  right Roli "

Rohan was the only person in the room who spoke more than three words but Siddhant isn't loving it and moreover, Roli nodded accepting his words, this disturbed him more, firstly he is her best friend and now openly saying about his plans to spend time with her made him upset. Here he isn't allowed to even talk with Roli and Rohan is making plans with her. Sudden jealousy sprouted in him unknown to him.

Taking their leave Rohan left promising Roli to be here again, as he moved out Siddhant took a breath of relief, and then his eyes fixed to Roli. She knew he is looking at her but chose to ignore it. Siddhant sighed then asked "I'll go to the room, to freshen up"

He spoke to everyone they just nodded except Roli, He took a step up on stairs but stopped hearing Roli's voice "second last on the left" Siddhant nodded then moved upwards wiping the tears which were falling without any break after Roli indirectly declared about not being ready to share the room with him.

All were sitting at the dining table and were having lunch silently, it never used to be this silent as it was today and this was pricking his heart, he was not able to gulp the food down. Still, somehow they finished the lunch and moved to their respective room.

Siddhant was pacing in his room not knowing exactly what should he do, from where should he start, after thinking a lot he finally came to a decision and left the room. He went down to Meena and Jamanalal's room and knocks on the door.

Meena was sitting on the bed keeping her leg down on the floor while Jamanalal was standing, looking outside the window emerged in deep thoughts, eyeing them nervously Siddhant asked "can I have a few minutes of yours"

Getting the acceptance Siddhant entered inside, he was so nervous, his heartbeat was racing up, and his palms were wet with sweat. Taking a long breath he first moved to Meena and sat down on his knees in front of her, tears started to form in his eyes, keeping his head low he approached to hold her hands then mumbled "I'm so sorry Maa, I'm sorry that I have become the reason of your daughter's tears, please Maa, forgive me please"

"Why?" Meena asked trying to hold back her tears, he raised his head to look at her, and then she continues "why didn't you believe in her?"

He let the tears flow and answered in a broken and shaky voice "Maa I... I too... Don't know what has gotten into me that  I didn't believe in my Roli... I don't know how well Shourya played and made all of us blind in his goodness that I failed to see the truth in my Roli's words... I know Maa that what I did was totally wrong, I should have been more careful and wise towards all fiasco but I behaved like a jerk and I'm really very sorry about it, I realized all my mistakes and also am accepting every one of them, and I really really want to correct all my mistakes, trust me Maa... Please trust me this last time and forgive me, please, please Maa"

Meena too was sobbing hearing everything but still, she said "She was about to die"

Siddhant immediately holds her hand tighter and buried his head in her lap trying to have control over his shivers due to fear as that moment rushed in front of his eye scaring him, he weeps "No Maa, please don't say that... You... You don't know how I felt seeing her going down, Maa my Roli she was going down and I couldn't do anything... " His body starts to tremble violently as he recalled about the incident, he cries louder making both of them have tears... Holding her a little tighter he continues "I couldn't breath properly until I saw her again Maa... I can't imagine my life without her... When she was lying silent closing her eyes... I wished... I just wished to go back in time and just keep her closer to me protecting her from getting hurt... But I couldn't...I failed to protect her, I failed to believe in her, I thought... I thought... I lost her... I was so... Scared ... Scared to lose her ... I got my life back only after I saw her opening her eyes... She was back but... Not to me and this... This Just killed me when I knew I lost her trust... It was so difficult to see her moving away from me... Maa I'm truly regretting of all those what I had done with her... and Maa I really want her forgiveness and you all too... But I don't know how... Maa please say me what should I do so that you will forgive me... I'll do anything or everything you ask me to do but please forgive me... This is the last time Maa, give me chance Maa... Give me a chance, please" he completed then hugged Meena tight burying himself more in her lap cries uncontrollably.

"How should I believe that you won't repeat it, and will never hurt her again" Jamanalal spoke gaining their attention towards him.

Siddhant gets up from Meena's lap, wiped his tears, having confidence and sincerity in his voice he replied looking at Jamanalal "I swear Papa you won't regret giving me a second chance and in future, if I hurt her again, which I would never do but if I did, then you are welcome to throw me out of Roli's life without any second thought and I promise I myself will walk away from her if I failed again, you have my word"

Both of them look at him and can feel the sincerity in his being which made them take a chance and believe in Sid with Roli, once again. Siddhant was still sitting on his knees looking at Jamanalal waiting for his answer and after a little while, he nodded yes making Siddhant sigh in relief... He was unable to believe that Jamanalal forgave him, he cries and mumbles "thank you, thank you, Papa, thank you so much"

He turned back to Meena and she welcomes him for a hug gesturing him that she too has given him a chance, Siddhant leaped forward to hug her tight, and he cried again "I'm sorry Maa, I'm sorry"

For a few minutes, Siddhant kept crying, and when he calmed down he left the room and went to his, he felt relief, he felt like a little burden was removed off his chest while some were still there making him heavy. He was in his thoughts when the knock on the door disturbed him, he looked to see who is there only to find Gautam standing.

"Gautam, come, come inside why are you standing there" He called him inside happily.

Gautam directly came to the point and told "are you sure that you won't hurt Roli didi the next time"

"I promise, I won't and if I did then you are very well allowed to punch on my face, you have that right you know"

"Hmm, ok" He says trying to give Sid another opportunity when Siddhant was asking apology from his parents, he too heard them by chance and felt when his parents are ready to give him another chance then why not him.

"That means you too forgave me" Siddhant asks with hope and his eyes twinkle in happiness when Gautam nodded yes. Siddhant couldn't contain his happiness and hugged him tightly.

"Don't be so happy jiju, Roli didi is still upset with you"

"Yeah, and I just wish I can gain forgiveness from her too" Sid spoke praying for it to come true.

"You went to her today" Gautam asked taking a seat on his bed.

Siddhant to sat beside him with a defeated look on his face sighed then nodded no "not yet, I'm scared of her rejection, it will kill me"

A tear tried to fall down his eyes as it reminded him of the time when Roli had clearly refused his help showing her denial towards him, Siddhant wiped his tears, and the next moment he was shocked hearing Gautam "you should go to her jiju, now"

"Now?" Siddhant looked at him with horror, just a few hours before she rejected to share her room with him then how can he expect her to be good with him when he goes to her now.

"Don't tell me you are waiting for any auspicious timing and waiting for the approval with the priest... Are you?"

Siddhant rolled his eyes on the mockery then said "not that but she won't agree"

"Then when do you think she will agree, how would you get to know that it is the time you are waiting for, if not today or say now then when are you actually planning to talk to her, tomorrow? The next day after it? Or are you gonna wait for more, before you think more I'd like to suggest to you that you should really be earlier this time to approach her well she is already been crying for the last one week how much more you want her to cry, please jiju make it quick, I can't see her like this" Gautam said and then left the room without waiting for his reply, here Siddhant was sitting surprised seeing the maturity in him who is yet to be an adult.

Considering Gautam's advice he went to Roli's room which was adjacent to him, he knocked on the door and waited for her but there was no response... Waiting for a little more when tension gripped inside his heart he banged on the door a little hard and surprisingly it got open, he entered the room only to find it empty. He frantically started searching for her everywhere, when he didn't find her he went to ask others...

"Maa, Papa... Have you seen Roli anywhere? Gautam have you seen her?"

"No" Jamanalal and Gautam answered thinking when did they see Roli last time...

"She went to temple which is on the 2nd Street from here, she wanted some peace so she went there" Meena informed as she remembered Roli telling it to her half an hour ago.

Before anyone could ask anything he stormed out towards the street mentioned, he reached the place to see the sight which he haven't thought of even in his rarest dream.

Roli was there, with Rohan. Both were sitting on each of the swings side by side, and laughing and talking enjoying their time. Siddhant's fist curls up in anger and jealousy, here he was trying to steal some of the time with her but Rohan has occupied all her schedule it seems.

He moved a little further only to be stopped by hearing Rohan's words "seriously Roli, I still didn't understand what did you see in your husband to marry him leaving me alone here"

Roli chose to be silent for a while which made Siddhant's eyes burn with unshed tears, he was waiting for her to say about him but she didn't moreover she diverted the question "leave that first you say what is in you so that I should consider you first"

"What's less in me, see I'm also good looking, having a job and getting handful salary, have a well-built home, and a car parking there and prior to that I love you since our school days do you even know" Rohan replied boasting about himself, Siddhant was taken aback with this reply, his anger towards Rohan was bubbling up inside him, how dare he can say that to his Roli.

"Hmm, you are right, if you would have come before then I might have thought about your proposal..." Roli giggles saying it, taking the whole thing as a joke but here Siddhant's heart breaks hearing it, he isn't doubting her but her accepting someone else at his place even for a joke hurts him... Controlling his emotions on not to break down, he steps forward calling her "Roli you were here we all were searching for you for so long"

Roli got flinched on his sudden voice and got imbalanced, Siddhant rushed to hold her firmly whereas Rohan held the strings of swing to stop her from falling down... She didn't notice Siddhant holding her hand so she just thanked Rohan for protecting her... Another string of pain dashed out on Siddhant's face feeling her rejection, not so direct but it was so he slowly left her, that's when Roli noticed him. She can clearly see the pain in his eyes which stings her little, brushing off for later she asked "but Siddhant Ji I had told Maa that I am coming here then"

"Woh, actually Maa forgot about it and now all became tensed so if you can come back" He lied to her just to make her stay away from Rohan, he is feeling very insecure about him.

Sid gave his hand to Roli but she refused and moved ahead to home making Sid sad again... Rohan who was watching all this advised "whatever it is man, please try to sort it out soon, she is really very upset from the time she is here, I've sensed it, I sometimes wish if I could help her"

This from him instigates Siddhant furthermore and he said sternly "no need to advise me for anything, I know how to win her back"

Siddhant turned to go from that place but stopped hearing his question "Is Roli a trophy?" Sid gave him a narrowed and confused look to which Rohan continued "Is she any trophy that you wanna win her  no right" Siddhant was silent on his words and didn't say anything while Rohan continued again "don't try to win her but try to earn her to treasure her throughout your life otherwise she would be nothing but just a trophy you want to win and hold in your room like usually, people do"

Rohan left but Siddhant was still standing there pondering over his thoughts of what Rohan had just said... And somewhere he knew Rohan was right this grows some fear inside in his heart thinking what if Rohan really loved Roli and the way he just advised him this shows that he might have been a good husband for Roli than he is...insecurities started to seep into his heart and after being drowned in his own thoughts he left for home.

All were in their room probably sleeping but Siddhant, was still awake he can't get sleep and kept thinking about Rohan's words... While thinking he finally slept but the incident of Roli falling down the cliff was still fresh in his memory which keeps haunting him in nightmares every night... Earlier when he used to get up in the middle having this dream he used to call upon Roli to check if she is doing fine and it was just a dream but from the last two days he couldn't get peaceful sleep as he was unable to hear her voice to confirm she was safe... Those nights were like hell for Siddhant to pass on... And tonight he again got the same nightmare and stirred in his sleep to find the surroundings different than the usual one and that's what made him realize that he is in Roli's house... Jumping off from his bed he ascended towards her room just to have a check on her and see if she is doing good, if she was safe.

Siddhant opened the door of her room and slowly entered. She was sleeping clutching the pillow tight and her knuckles turned white... Siddhant kept doing his watch on her and suddenly he notices her shivering visibly scaring him...  He went to her sitting beside her he holds her hand to give her support but his touch disturbed her sleep and she woke up...

"What are you doing here" She shoots up a question as soon as she gains consciousness that he is near her... Well to be honest she felt relief seeing him here when she was having nightmares regarding everything she has been through but is yet to forgive him.

"Roli hear me please" Siddhant begs holding both her hand, his eyes moistened up praying silently that this time she should consider his words ... When Roli didn't retort Sid continued "Roli I know I've done several mistakes, and I really am sorry about it, I know I should have believed you but just don't know what was in my mind that I couldn't see the truth I agree I hurt you and it is ok for you to be angry on me, to be upset with me for what all I had done... But at the same time Roli I badly need your forgiveness and I know it's not easy too to forgive me but can you please try to give me a chance to mend everything, I want a chance to rectify my mistakes, you take your own time to accept me again wholeheartedly like before but please don't stop me from being near you... I just can't really stay away from you... I would die Roli... I'm already dying in guilt but if you stay away from me then I'd surely die by your absence beside me for you are the reason I breathe Roli and that's what I understood in all these days being away from you... I know I had agreed to your decision but now I can't really keep up with it... Please jaan, let me stay with you or around you... I swear you won't get any complaint of me hereafter, I just am asking one chance... Just one chance Roli I promise I would make you believe in me again... As you feel that the belief between us got faded I wish to rebuild it again so that no third person can play their game again... You were right on your part every time, it was me who had failed In between of us and I am so guilty about it... I don't want anything more but just your permission to be beside you whenever you feel low, or whenever you feel you want support and I want to be that one for you... Just allow me this Roli, allow me to hold your hand through the nightmare you were going I guess... Jaan, please allow me for this, for now, I just want to be around you holding you in all your vulnerable moments to strengthen a new belief in you that from today onwards I, your Siddhant will always be by your side holding your hand no matter what situation we are in... Just think and then give your answer if you would allow me or not, I'll be waiting for your answer but for now, you take a rest" Siddhant completed wipes his tears and of Roli's too then helped her to lie down and tucking her he left the room with a slight whisper of "I love you"

Tears kept trickling through her eyes and Sid's words were revolving in her head, She can feel he meant every word he said, and somewhere she too was wishing him to make it up to her... These days were the same like hell for her too She couldn't get peaceful sleep in that room alone, to be honest whenever she woke up in the middle of her sleep she would desperately want Siddhant to be by her side but she tried hard to shrug that feeling but she couldn't...  Whatever she said, whatever she does she knows one thing for sure that she still loves him that she can never deny... and for now, he is just asking to be near her and not to actually forgive soon, well she never felt uncomfortable around him so she can think of it... And while leaving the house she was confused on how to go in the case of Siddhant and being away for a few days made her crave for his presence so she has decided to give him a chance... "I just hope everything will be smooth as before in between of us Siddhant Ji" Roli murmured and wipes the final tear out of the corner of her eye and then closed her eye waiting for the next day.

"Good morning Maa, Papa" Siddhant greeted and occupied the seat on a couch in front of Jamanalal.

"Any development" Jamanalal asked and Meena too looked at him in anticipation...

"Don't know Papa, for now, I have asked her to allow me to stay near her, this time I want to take it slow so that when she believes me again then it would be strong enough to not let any third person play between us... I just hope Roli gives access to this first step and if she doesn't then still I'll wait for it and won't leave this place until I gain her trust back" he spoke determinedly which left a smile on their faces and twinkle in the eyes of Roli who was standing near the steps...

Roli comes forward then voices out "Maa, I'm going to temple for a while" Meena nodded while Siddhant was expectantly looking at her for the answer but she moved away, going a few steps she stopped then turning back looking at Siddhant she asked "Siddhant Ji if you are free then would you like to accompany me"

"Always Roli" Siddhant replied with a grin on his face and happy tears swinging at the edge of his eyes...

"I'm waiting outside" She said then left the place.

"Don't hurt her again" Jamanalal warned him before he steps out.

"Never Papa" Siddhant answered then happily joined Roli on the new journey in their relationship only to be interrupted by Rohan.

"Hi Roli, very sweet good morning"

"Bitter morning" Siddhant murmured under his breath before Roli could wish Rohan back...

Siddhant thought he was low but Roli heard him and her eyes widened on it, she looked at him a little shocked, and the way he was looking at Rohan she can conclude he is jealous of him.

"Can I join you two"

Before Sid could deny Roli accepted much to his dismay... Rohan was about to go to the other side of Roli but Siddhant moved in between of them shocking both, Roli bending towards him she whispered "what's happening"

"I don't like him" Siddhant answered truthfully

Roli decided to tease him so said "you know I used to be his school crush"

Siddhant shrugged his shoulders then murmurs in her ear "so you might be just a school crush for him but me, you are my wife till eternity Meri Jaan"

Roli smiled widely at his words, the way he showed his right on her, she felt it good and content ... Later on in the whole journey, they kept murmuring one or the other thing to each other forgetting the third person there... Siddhant was extremely happy that Roli is trying to give him a second chance and he knew it's not easy to gain her trust back like before but he would do it maybe slowly but surely...
