This story was an entry in the Santa Prompts are Coming to Town - A One Shot Writing Contest.

The prompt that I fulfilled was to drive the plot of the story with these sixteen words as key components: climb, cupcakes, rise, bhaang, forget, happiness, odd, nineteen, sunlight, charming, open, history, rare, blown, eat, beautiful; and to include the situation and actions (but exclude the characters) of this gif:

After I signed up to write a winter holiday fluff story of 1500-2000 words for Prompt #4, the rules were clarified that I couldn't write about a regional language TV show, but I could move the characters of a Hindi TV show into another world. So, I fulfilled my own prompt as well: Couple A accidentally makes travel arrangements to the wrong destination and intrudes on a special occasion for Couple B.
