He stepped inside after all.

Khushi haulted once she was inside. She looked the whole house, she remembered how much she missed to be here. How much she missed running down the stairs, how much she missed the kitchen where she has started cooking for her husband who doesnot love her.

She looked and ramu kaka and ran towards him to hug him. Arnav was shocked to see this side of hers. He never thought khushi to be so down to earth. This girl was surely a mystry to him.

Khushi wipped in ramu kaka's arms and finally composed herself and looked at him.

Khushi all teary: I missed you ramu kaka she cried bitterly.

Arnav knew very well that it was not ramu kaka she was talking she was actually pouring her heart out, her frustration out. He felt happy that even she missed him equally.

Ramu kaka: Bhabi, arnav baba bhi aapko bohot miss kiya

Suddenly the atmosphere changed.

Khushi stopped wipping and arnav was felt extremely embarrassed. That was the last thing he wanted khushi to know.

Khushi blushed a little was maintained her expression firm.

She wiped of her tears and said, kaka "mujhe pata hai who humme kitna miss kiye hai"

Arnav frowned a little'

Khushi: Who humko bilkul bhi miss nahi kiya hai, a lone tear escaped while she said those words and that did not go unnoticed by arnav.

He never showed his emotional side to anybody till date not even his parents.

Khushi glanced at him once, who was standing in the middle of the hall.

She walked towards him and then crossed him to go to his room.

Arnav could only watch her climbing the stairs slowly and then disappearing in his room.

Arnav lowered his eyes and went to the study, he know khushi needs sometime alone.

Arnav was fighting with his emotions trying to figure-out what made her come back to him? How on the earth can someone after knowing that his husband is having an affair with some other female can come back like this.

His tranz was broken by ramu kaka's voice.

Arnav looked back, ramu kaka was standing with the tray in his hand.

Arnav: Kya hua kaka? Apne diya nahi usko?

Kaka: She has refused to have it

Arnav: Leave it here kaka, I will take it for her. Aur aap please soney jaiye, I am sorry aapko itni raat tak jagna pada

Kaka: Koi baat nahi sahib, I am happy that she is back, I wasnot able to see you in that state.

Arnav was totally perplexed to hear that from him. He didn't know that he missing khushi was so evident. No wonder why lavanya and he fought in the morning.

He got up from the chair and took the tray, switched off the lights while moving out of the study.

He went to his room, but couldnot find khushi there. He kept the tray on the table and knocked the bathroom door, but he found that open.

He frowned a little.

He came near the sofa to take the tray when his eyes caught her sight downstairs wearing a white satin robe, her hair flying in the breeze, crossing her arms around her chest, occasionally removing the hairs which kept on falling on her face.

He could here a song playing downstairs. It was extremely faint for him to hear. He come towards the window and started looking at her. The more he came near the window the song got cleared.

He heard her humming the same song.

He also started humming his favourite song when the verse started

She started fiddling with her rob lace and held the table for support.

 

Suddenly she heard the door open, she gasped and pulled herself back, in the process the knot of the rob got open and anrav was stunned.
