Ashlesha who was just done lending a helping hand to the Naagraj was overwhelmed by the uneasy feeling that swept over her, she then closed her eyes and meditated upon Mahima to check if she were okay, when a vision of her lying lifeless showed up she panicked and was overcome by grief, "this can't happen, it can't be true" she muttered
"What happened Ashlesha? Why have you turned so pale all of a sudden?" Mr. Kailash the priest asked her
"What that healer saw just showed up in my own vision just now. I need to go right away, she's clearly in great trouble" Ashlesha told him
"Are you sure about that?" Naagraj Bhujang asked her who couldn't believe what he heard
"I know I saw, this is why I wanted to prioritise her first" Ashlesha shot back
"If that's the case then please go quickly" the priest told her following which she assumed her red serpent avatar and slithered away.

As Mahima laid on the ground seemingly dead, the tantrik placed Monu's body right in front of his deity's altar and then walked back towards Mahima to check and confirm once again that she was indeed dead. He placed his hand near her nose to check if she were still breathing, followed by her pulse, once he was sure that there was no sign of life left in her he then picked up Mahima's body and walked outside and disposed the same somewhere in the forest. He did consider burning the corpse however since his ritual sacrifice had already been delayed he didn't bother thinking that no one would be able to find her and even if she were to be found it would have been pretty late as he would have fled and cleared out the place by then ensuring that no one would be led to him.
Once he was done he returned to the cave the tantrik washed off the dagger which he had used to stab Mahima given it was meant to be used in the ritual. He then repeated the entire process again to prepare the sacrifice and lifted the dagger raising it high above his head as he began to chant some kind of a mantra with his eyes closed quietly, when he was done with that he then opened his eyes and prepared himself to stab Monu by getting up and walking right up to him. When he was about to sit down he heard a sound as if something or someone had just entered the cave. He then looked around but found no one around and wondered if it were just his imagination as a result of which he didn't bother much with it and focussed on the young child before him. He knelt down and raised the dagger slightly above his head with both his hands, as he was about to stab Monu he felt his hand get struck by someone from behind startling and causing him to drop the dagger. As he scurried to pick up it up he noticed the large shadow of a hooded serpent right behind him, he turned around and saw a giant orange colored cobra looking down at him, before he could pick up the dagger the serpent used it's tail to pick up the same and threw it into the firepit.
"NOOOoooo....." the tantrik cried out in dismay and then turned to the serpent in a fit of rage.
"You shouldn't have done that, I don't know who you are but you're going to pay for this" the tantrik threatened the serpent as he was about to pick up his bag however the serpent prevented him from doing so by picking him up using it's tail once again and slammed him against the cave walls several times before finally throwing him down on the floor.
"Who are you and why are you doing this to me?" the tantrik asked the serpent in a weak voice "Let me go and I'll give you anything that you'd want" he begged the serpent however it didn't seem to care and slithered right towards him.
"If you're going to kill me you'd might as well reveal yourself" the tantrik cried out as he stood back up using all his strength.
(Pretend this song is playing in the background as the snake transforms and reveals itself)
The serpent then stopped and began to transform in a manner allowing it to assume it's semi human avatar, a woman that stared right at him in a fierce manner as her eyes glowed.
(Above image is used to depict Mahima's naagin look)
"I was dead and you did in fact kill me, but you see that is exactly what you shouldn't have done" the serpent told him who was none other than Mahima herself who then recalled what happened right after she had temporarily passed away.
A while ago
As she was about to cross-over into the netherworld a feminine voice called out to her "Wait!"
As Mahima's spirit turned around she saw a human like figure that stood at a distance barely visible due to fog all around, "Come back!" the voice called out to her causing her to walk right towards the woman. When she was near them she was elated yet sad at the same time to see the person before her, "Have you come to receive me? I guess I have disappointed you for which I am very sorry" Mahima told her in a dejected manner as she looked down avoiding direct eye contact.
The woman then walked right towards her and embraced Mahima, "What are you talking about? I am very proud of you! You've done what was right and that can never be disappointing"
"But I failed to avenge our clan most importantly what happened to you Didi" Mahima broke into tears as her deceased elder sister tried to comfort her, although Mahima never saw her sister Ashlesha did manage to provide her the portrait of the former queen which she had managed to preserve in a different location just before the massacre took place
"Says who?" Neelima asked her as she pulled back and looked at Mahima
"I'm dead, what can I do now? It's over" Mahima asked her sister
"No it isn't, in fact this is just the beginning" Neelima answered
"What do you mean?" Mahima was puzzled by the statement made by Neelima
"Remember what Mr. Kailash told Ashlesha when you failed to reclaim your powers who then relayed the same to you?" Neelima pointed
"Yes I do, she told me that I'd have to make the ultimate sacrifice to get them back" Mahima remembered
"And what could be the ultimate sacrifice other than laying down one's life to protect another's?" Neelima reasoned
"Your time hasn't come yet which is why you must turn around and go back, you still have to avenge us all" Neelima reminded Mahima
"Your new life awaits you, use it well to your advantage" Neelima advised as she then pointed Mahima in a specific direction and asked her to head back.
Mahima embraced her sister back and thanked her as well before walking towards a bright light which caused her to wake up in the middle of the forest, however the moment her eyes opened they began to glow along with her skin which had turned into a orange colored scale like texture before finally transforming into a snake.
(Mahima when her powers returned in the above image for the first time)
Back at the cave
"What do you mean?" the rogue tantrik asked "Your powers were supposed to return on making the ultimate sacrifice which is why I made you that offer which you had declined, so how is this possible?"
"Fool! You really think that is the ultimate sacrifice one can ever make? That is not a sacrifice but a mortal sin, a heinous crime. A true sacrifice is that which is made without any selfish desires or intentions, by killing me you actually helped me make it, don't you remember just a while ago you called my death a sacrificial offering yourself" Mahima reminded him leaving him flabbergasted as he couldn't believe what he heard.
"If I was the reason to help you get your powers you would spare me right?" the tantrik asked her seeming pretty hopeful
Mahima then looked up slightly as if she were giving it a thought, "should I let you go though?" Mahima thought out loud as she wondered the same or that was what she made it seem like to him who then looked back at him "I gave it a thought, you did indeed help me unintentionally but you did kill me now didn't you? similarly you must have killed many other innocent children and people who got in your way just because of your selfish lust for more power. You will not escape today and will pay for innocent life you've murdered" Mahima told him in cold blood with an equally cold expression on her face as she moved towards him who then turned around and tried to escape however Mahima picked him up using the tail end of her serpentine lower body and then placed him right above the fire pit, she then breathed fire right at the same causing the flames to swell up to a height before finally tossing him into the same and watching him burn alive.
Once the tantrik was incinerated and dead for good Mahima falls down to the ground and reverts back to her human self before passing out. The wounds the tantrik had inflicted on her were taking a toll on her given she was stabbed by a dagger that was activated via some mantra meant for the ritual sacrifice which was the reason why they didn't heal yet.
Lakshya who was following the little boy outside soon found himself infront of the same cave where Mahima and Monu were currently lying unconscious, "they're inside" the boy told him
For some reason Lakshya grew terrified as he saw the bright light being emitted from the cave which he thought was unusual and wondered if it was because of a fire that seemed to have gone out of control.
He quickly entered the cave and saw Monu lying unconscious right near the altar while Mahima was a bit further away as the flames began to engulf the entire place gradually. Prioritising Monu he first carried him up and got him outside the cave where it was safer following which he then went to rescue Mahima next. As he reached out to her he noticed that she was bleeding from the abdomen, as much as he was alarmed he tried to remain calm and tried to lift and carry her up gently and walked past the blazing flames some of which inflicted some minor burns on him as he managed to get outside.
He then placed her on the ground and turned to Monu trying to wake him up, when that didn't work he saw a lake nearby and plucked the largest leaf possible from a Sal tree which he used to collect some water and later sprinkled the same on Monu causing him to wake up.
"Where am I?" Monu asked and then panicked as he saw Mahima, "What happened to Didi? Why is she bleeding like that?"
"She is hurt and we need to get back, are you able to get up and walk?" he asked Monu who then stood up and gave him a nod following which he pulled out his phone and called the ambulance. He then carried her up once again and walked through the forest along with Monu in the direction leading them back to the orphanage. While on the way they met the search party that was out looking for them along with Shipra and Chandrika. He quickly entrusted Monu to the matron who then held his hand.
"What happened to Mahima?" the matron asked as she noticed the injuries on her doubling her worries.
"It seems like someone must have stabbed her which is why we need to rush her to the hospital right away, I've already called the ambulance so they might get here anytime sooner" Lakshya informed them
"You need medical attention too" Shipra pointed "just look at that burn would on your hand, how on earth did that happen, It's almost as if you walked past fire?" she asked her son
"Did you?" Chandrika asked him as well when he remained quite and didn't answer they took that as a yes and scolded him "How could you? what if you got hurt much worse than this? How could you just risk your life instead of calling for help?" Shipra questioned him
"Mom we can do this later, right now we're in the middle of a medical emergency so let's get back first" He told his mother
"Your son's right Mrs. Singh, right now we really need to go back" the matron urged her
Shipra held herself up along with Chandrika and allowing the group to get back to the orphanage where the Ambulance had arrived and was waiting outside.
They quickly entrusted her to the medical staff on ground who then took her inside the ambulance before leaving for the hospital as Lakshya and the rest followed them.

The serpents sent by the Naagraj to raid Adish's residence had returned to his court.
"This is what we found while we were there" the serpent handed him a photo frame
The naagraj was shocked to see the picture as he held it, "No wonder.. had I known this earlier then we would have taken extra precautions around him" Bhujang uttered
"Also we were unable to rescue the naagrajkumar, we apologise for that" his serpent henchmen regretfully told him
"I am not surprised though, now that we know our enemy we can make a better plan to rescue him sooner" Bhujang told them
........................................................................................................................................................
Adish was going through the surveillance footage on his phone while inside his room at the Singh residence, for a reason he felt as if someone had trespassed into his property.
As he scanned through it, he didn't find anything, "Maybe I'm just overthinking" he thought to himself and then turned off the lights before going to sleep.

Anvay had stepped out of the house and walked towards where his car was parked. He entered the same, and quickly drove away without informing anyone about the same.
As he kept driving across the desolate road he began to contemplate over what Neelima meant in his dream before finally stopping and parking the car outside a temple. He quickly stepped out and headed inside the temple as he climbed up the stair leading inside.
The temple priest was sitting on the floor right next to a fire pit meant for some sort of a pooja, Anvay quickly walked towards the same and sat right in front of the priest who then commenced the ritual.
Once they were done the priest informed Anvay about the same, "the ritual prayer so that your late wife can rest in peace has been completed"
Apparently it was Neelima's death anniversary which he usually honored in secret every year.
"I hope so because lately it doesn't seem to be that way" Anvay remarked
"Don't worry, things will eventually get better and fall into place" the priest told Anvay right before he left the temple go back home.

Srishti was laid down on her bed fast asleep as the night progressed although she appeared to keep twitching and turning her head side from side to side suggesting she was once again plagued by a bad dream as beads of sweat formed on her forehead.
Once again she was at the same place which was set ablaze where she found people fighting with each other while the others were running away as if in panic amidst which she heard a woman's voice calling out to her as she usually did, "Come and find me, I am waiting for you. It's time for you to embrace your true self" the woman told her, shortly after which Srishti noticed her hands, the skin slowly began to have a golden scaly snake like texture until it spread all over her body.
As she panicked, Srishti quickly started running away from the site until she found herself somewhere in a forest. She looked at her hands once again and this time they were back to normal much to her relief. She then saw a lake right ahead of her, exhausted within the dream she decided to go and drink some of the water prompting her to step out of the woods and into the light of the full moon. Once she was near the pond and bent down towards the pond she was startled or more like shocked when she saw her reflection in the water causing her to fall back. She noticed that her hands were scaly once again and went right up close to the lake to see her face which had also turned scaly like that of some reptile accompanied with her eyes which began to glow while her iris sharpened like that of an animal.
"This can't be true, I can't be a monster..... NOOooo" Srishti cried out as she woke up.
Once awake she looked around her room and took a deep breath heaving a sigh of relief. "It was just a dream" Srishti then extended her arm towards the bedside table and picked up the water filled jug along with an empty glass which she filled up. When she pulled back her arm to drink from the glass she noticed the skin on her hands, it was peeling. Srishti got out of her bed and turned on the lights to examine her hands. As she looked into the dressing table mirror from across the room she observed the same on her face getting her worried. She then tried to pull of the peel of her skin which to her surprise was removed without much of a hassle and immediately discarded it outside the window.
"I might have to see a doctor" she thought to herself
................................................................................................................................................................
Mahima was taken away on a stretcher all the way to the OT as Lakshya and the matron accompanied her along with the hospital staff. Once she was inside everyone was asked to wait outside so the doctors could proceed with the required treatment.
When the doctors were about to examine Mahima, they were surprised to an extent as they saw her wounds and wondered how she was still alive inspite of that, as they were about to begin with the surgery, a nurse entered the room.
"Who are you and what brings you here?" The doctor asked unable to recognise her
The nurse then took off her surgical mask revealing a face unfamiliar to him, it was Ashlesha who had disguised herself as a nurse to gain access the team attending Mahima.
Her eyes began to glow as she stared straight into the doctor's, "you will not reveal or disclose any details regarding this patient to anyone and the same goes for the rest of you" she told them as she hypnotised them all in a single go.
Ashlesha then asked them to step back to which they complied allowing her to approach mahima who was unconscious on the operating table.
"I am so sorry this happened to you, I should have just followed my gut and put you first." Ashlesha told her
"Don't be, this was necessary. Moreover I got my powers back because of this, so don't beat yourself up over it" Mahima told her with her groggy voice
"Really? That's great" Ashlesha was elated to hear that.
"Don't worry about me, I'll recover sooner than you realise" Mahima assured her, "you should get back"
"Before I leave, there's something I want to tell you" Ashlesha told her
"Go ahead" Mahima allowed her
"We found Vikram, I know where he is right now" Ashlesha informed
"Where's he?" Mahima asked quite eager to know about his whereabouts
"I'll tell you once you get better, for now let these doctors work on getting you better" with that Ashlesha put her mask back on and left the OT.
As she exited the room, Lakshya along the matron got in her way and asked "is everything okay, how is she doing?" Lakshya was quite anxious to find out while his mother observed his behaviour from a distance.
"They are about to start with the surgery so I can't really say, but she should survive I suppose" Ashlesha answered him following which she walked away.
Shipra then walked right up to him and dragged him away from the OT corridor. "Mom what are you doing?" He asked as he pulled back his arm
"What does it look like other than a mother looking after her son who seems to be neglecting his own health and well being at the moment" Shipra lifted his arm which had minor burn wounds on it, "You need to get treated as well and that's why I'm taking you to the doctor right away given you seem to be delaying the first aid treatment" Shipra complained
"Mom relax, it's not that bad as it seems. " Lakshya told her
"Really? Doesn't seem that way to me though. I can't believe you actually said that. We're getting those treated right away so you better listen to me" Shipra put her foot down as she dragged him all the way to reception which then led them to the treatment room.
While inside Shipra was trying to figure out why her son was overlooking his own well being while being extra concerned about Mahima's. Her gut told her that he was hiding something and felt that it was pointless asking him since he wouldn't tell her anything.
Once they were done they step outside and wait near the OT.
2 hours later, the doctors come out and inform that surgery was done and that Mahima would need to rest well for atleast 2 weeks in order to recover completely.
They then transfer her to the general ward room. Lakshya and the matron followed her but were stopped in their tracks by the nurse in charge, "only one person is allowed near the patient" she told them.
"Then let me be the one" Lakshya told the nurse however Shipra objected, "No you can't, I won't allow it since you need to rest as well"
"Your mother's right, I'll stay next to her instead" the matron told him to which he reluctantly agreed and left along with his mother.
The next morning
Mahima wakes up to find herself alone in the ward room, she then tries to get up and out of bed, with her feet on the floor she stands up and struggles to walk towards the restroom while enduring the pain that she felt in her abdominal area.
The door opens and Lakshya enters inside not very pleased seeing her stepping out if bed by herself. "What are you doing?" Lakshya asked her
"Trying to walk, I need to use the restroom" she answered
"Let me help" he offered
"No I'm fine" she insisted however her legs seemed to betray her as they wobble causing her to nearly drop down, however Lakshya prevents it by holding her by the shoulder and supporting her weight, "clearly you're not"
"Where is the matron?" Mahima asked while pulling back and looking away from him.
Although he was a bit hurt by her gesture he decided to let it go and answered, "She's in the canteen, I'll let her know you're up and need her" he then walked out of the room and headed to the canteen. The matron was done and had just made the payment at the counter when Lakshya approached her.
"Mahima's aware and she's asked for you" he told her
"Oh God, I better go see her" the matron immediately leaves and goes to the wardroom where she sees Mahima sitting upright on the bedside.
"You need to lie down!" The matron scolded her and got her to do that, "Where is Monu? Is he okay?" Mahima asked
"He's fine, but do you mind telling me what exactly happened? Who did this to you and how did you find Monu?" The matron questioned her
"I found him by chance as I was wandering in the forest" obviously she wasn't going to say that a bird helped her find him, Mahima then told her about the tantrik who would abduct children and murder them as part of his deadly ritual and that he was the one who stabbed her as she tried to prevent him from doing the same to Monu.
"That was really reckless of you to take him on by yourself, you should have just called us" the matron argued
"It would have been too late by then, besides it was his birthday. By the way how did you find us?" Mahima asked
"It was Lakshya who found the two of you" the matron told
"How did he manage to that?" Mahima was quite surprised to learn that
"I don't know, he never told us nor did we bother asking" the matron replied
Mahima then requested that she wanted to get discharged so she could go back and meet Monu.
"You will but I'm afraid we can't do that today, you need to rest moreover..." the matron trailed
"Moreover what?" Mahima looked puzzled
The door opened and monu entered the room much to her surprise. He walked right up to her and gave her a hug, "What are you doing here?" She asked him.
The matron then told her that the little boy kept insisting on visiting her and celebrating his birthday with her instead making her smile at him.
One of the orphanage staff members then entered the room along with a box that contained the cake Mahima prepared the other day. They opened the box and placed the cake on a table followed by inserting a candle over it and lighting the same.
Monu who was expected to blow the candles kept waiting for some reason, "What's wrong Monu, why aren't you blowing the candles?" Mahima asked him
"I'm waiting for the bhaiya that brought me here" Monu answered
That was another surprise for Mahima, "Can I ask him to come in here?" Monu asked her
"It's your birthday, ofcourse you can" Mahima told the boy who was then elated and stepped out of the room briefly before entering with Lakshya following which Monu blew the candles and cut the cake as everyone sang for him. Monu then fed a slice of the cake to Mahima followed by Lakshya and then everyone else.
When they were done the matron requested Lakshya to drop Monu back to the orphanage to which he agreed given that he knew Mahima wasn't very comfortable with him being around her at that point and that he didn't want to stress her out any further.
The orphanage staff then left the room along with Monu and Lakshya.

"I'm telling you something's wrong with me, and it only seems to be getting worse" Srishti told the psychiatrist while inside their clinic in the evening. She had explained to him the everything that she had been experiencing lately and the dream last night along with how her skin began to peel off right away.
"It seems like you've been under quite some stress lately for example your wedding got called off right? I guess you're having trouble coping up with that" The psychiatrist dismissed her
"I don't think that's the case because I've been experiencing this even before that" Srishti pointed
"Then that only suggests you were probably feeling insecure about the same" The doctor countered which Srishti couldn't exactly deny either, "When did you first start hearing these sounds, besides the recurring dream?" he asked her further
"Well... I've been plagued by this dream since my childhood where I see a village sort of place set ablaze with people running around for their lives" Srishti told him
"Do you recall any particular detail about this dream, something hard to miss or quite intriguing?" The psychiatrist asked
"There was a couple along with their newborn child that seemed to be on the run... some goons were chasing after them, the man gets killed by those goons while trying to help his wife escape with the baby most of the time the strange voice calling out to me has been pretty recent.... in fact if you ask me this dream hadn't shown up for quite a while since my 13th birthday" Srishti answered
"When was the first time you've had this dream recently?" The psychiatrist asked
"I suppose it was right after returning from my trip to Manasgadh" Srishti answered
The psychiatrist then asked if anything happened during that trip to traumatize her as a result of which she recalled the incident where the bandits were chasing after her and subsequently getting warded off by the divine serpents although the doctor was skeptical of the latter part of the story.
"In fact that was also the first time recently when I've begun to hear those voices again" Srishti added
"What else besides this? Have you come across someone that has fueled your insecurities?" He asked further
"Excuse me? what are you referring to?" Srishti was offended by the question
"I mean perhaps someone who became the reason to doubt your relationship with you ex?" he clarified to which Srishti gave it some thought and the only person that came to her mind was Mahima however then reconsidered the fact that she was no longer engaged to Lakshya so it shouldn't have mattered at all anymore. "There was a person but I don't think it matters anymore given I'm no longer in that relationship anymore, plus I haven't even seen them since a while so it makes no sense for me to be bothered because of her" She told him
"You also haven't seen your ex now have you? Given that your avoiding him clearly indicates that he does bother you along with her, deep down you still feel for him don't you? If you want to move on why don't you just try facing them head on?" the psychiatrist suggested however Srishti wasn't convinced "I don't think that's it"
"Well either you face them or you find someone else to fill in for him. The choice is yours" the doctor adviced her following which she left the clinic and headed back home.
Upon entering the house, Srishti ensured that she behaved as if everything was okay and normal in order to not get her parents worried, however Smitha noticed something was off.
"Is everything okay? You seemed a bit disturbed in the morning and you've returned home a bit late than usual" Smitha asked her
"Ah yeah well there's the annual day coming up and since I'm part of the student council I had to help out with the planning and preparations, in fact we had an after hours meeting regarding the same" Srishti lied
"I see, that makes sense" her father agreed with that Srishti walked away in a hurry however Smitha wasn't convinced with the explanation she got from her daughter and could tell she was lying but she couldn't guess the reason for the same.

One week later
Lakshya was in the guest room along with Shipra and Chandrika, he was getting ready to leave for the hospital.
"I don't get it, what else is left to finalise? You want to sponsor this place right then just do it" Shipra told her son
"There are a few things left" Lakshya told her
"Can't it be done back from home?" She asked him once again
"If it could I wouldn't have insisted on staying longer, mom" Lakshya replied
The truth was Shipra didn't want her son to spend any more time in that village given the impression it left on her owing to their previous visit a month ago.
"You don't understand, I don't want you to stay here any longer more, this place makes me quite uneasy. If that girl could get into a fatal encounter herself then imagine what could happen to us" Shipra urged him
"We'll leave this place soon, don't worry" Lakshya assured his mother and then stepped out of the guest room heading outside. While passing by the reception he ran into the matron who greeted him and exchanged pleasantries.
As he was about to leave the matron interrupted him briefly to ask, "how did you find them that day? I mean Monu and Mahima"
"One of the orphans led me to them, I guess he too wandered away along with Monu" Lakshya answered
"Who are you talking about?" The matron was puzzled
Lakshya gave her the description "he seemed to be around 10 years old, long haired, sharp nose with hooded eyes and a crescent shaped birth mark on his left jaw"
The matron couldn't believe what she heard and seemed pretty bothered by what Lakshya revealed to her.
Lakshya then excused himself and headed outside to leave for the hospital.
The matrons assistant who was listening to their conversation from a distance approached her, "as per the description he gave it seems like he was talking about eklavya. But how is this possible?"
"That's what I thought too, Eklavya passed away a year ago with his body found in the middle of the forest, moreover there isn't anyone else here that matches the description given by him" the matron replied
Eklavya was a bright yet playful child who like Monu was abducted by the tantrik and was murdered by the latter in a ritual sacrifice a year ago.

At the Singh's Residence
Anvay was in the study where he was working and attending business calls. A while later Chetan enters the room and interrupted him to review some file and get the same approved, however Anvay requests him to wait for a while till he's done with his meeting to which Chetan unwillingly agreed as he sat down on the sofa frowning at his uncle.
Once Anvay was done, he was ready to review the file which Chetan brought in.
It was a request to fund his project to construct a mall on a land which was apparently a disputed property which was acquired through illegal means by Shashi years back.
"I don't think we should do this right now, let's wait till the case to get settled" Anvay told Chetan
"Don't worry about that Uncle, that matter will be settled sooner" Chetan assured him
"Even if that is the case, I'd say we wait till It's settled first" Anvay insisted much to Chetan's displeasure who was also pretty much irked by the rejection.
Anvay then excused himself and stepped out of the room walking through the hallway till he reached the living room from where he moved towards the staircase and climbed up to go and check on Abhay who seemed to be in leave since wasn't feeling well.
"Do you need anything?" He asked his son
"No I'm good" Abhay replied.
The house felt pretty deserted for the first time given there weren't many members of the family around since Lakshya, Shipra and Chandrika were out of town while Soumya had also left along with Rani to visit and spend time with her maternal relatives in order to cope with Shashi's death.
All of this caused a void to grow in his heart allowing the feeling of dejection to take over him. He then closed the door and turned back to go back downstairs, while doing so he noticed that the door to Kamalraj's room was open. Assuming that Ashlesha may have forgotten to close it he walked towards it to pull it shut, however as he was about to get that done he saw his father fallen out of his bed on the floor and immediately rushed inside to help him back up.
"Father what's wrong?" Anvay was worried
Kamalraj used all his energy to utter some words which didn't seem to make any sense to him and sounded like gibberish at first until Anvay paid close attention to him when he uttered the same the fourth time, "the enemy is living amongst us" is what he heard although he wasn't exactly sure about it.
"Do you know who it is?" Anvay asked his father to which the latter gave him a slight nod.
"Who is it?" Anvay asked
"Ash-" is all what Kamalraj uttered and tried to complete.
