Chapter 27

Sidhant placed roli's spare dress on the side table. He saw her who was staring something on the hospital white wall without blink. 

"R-Roli?..' he whispers even he knew she won't respond to his call. As he expected, roli turned her face against him making him feel piercing in his heart. He gulped his lump then walks out. 

"Sam' called sid. Samira nodded her head before moves inside the room to help roli. 

"Sid?..' aira held sid's shoulder and wiped the tears which was scrolling down. 

"I didn't do anything aira..' hiccups him looking at her. 

"I know..I know' she pulled him for a comforting love. 

"She hates me now..' said sid breaking down in her shoulder. 

"No yaar, she didn't!' airaa removed him for her then cupped his cheeks. 

"She doesn't know how to handle the situation...she lost her baby sidhant and it's difficult for her to believe' says her caressing his cheeks. Sid shakes his head and hugged her again. Aira gave assurance to rocky who was watching his friends standing behind sid with a smile. 

"Shall we go?' asks dhruv picked roli's bag in his hand. Roli nodded her head. Sid came to help her by stretching his hand and waits hopefully for roli to take while others also watches them. Roli saw his hand for a brief moment then raised her head and found his pleading eyes. She closed eyes. Soon a pair of tears dropped from her eyes making sid stumbled back. A sob escapes from his throat as he strides out wiping his tears. 

Roli forwards her hand to intertwine with sid without opening her eyes but found nothing. She snapped her eyes open and couldn't see sid. She retrieved her hand back and hugs it close to her chest. While others felt bad for their favourite people. 

ROSID'S HOUSE:

Aira and sam helped roli to lay properly. 

"Sleep well roli...' aira kissed roli's forehead while sam covered roli with a blanket then they went out. 

"He-He hates me...' mumbles roli shutting her eyelids.

"Sleeping?...'

"Yeah...' sam informed sat beside dhruv. 

"Ok, you be with her.. I've some work to finish' said him got up from the sofa walks over to the entrance. 

"Where are you going?..' rocky followed sid. 

"To see jigar...' 

"What?...' dhruv and rocky ran behind to catch him.

"Stop sid!...' dhruv held his arm.

"I can't dhruv...I can't. He killed my son! He killed my innocent baby' shouts him grabbing dhruv's collar shaking him hard. 

"My baby dhruv..' sid cries clenching his jaw. Dhruv hugged his friend and tapped his back. 

"We are coming with you' announced rocky tightening his fist. 

PRISON:

Sidhant clutched the iron bar...

"Why did you do that?...' queries him calmly. Jigar smirks,

"This face..(jigar points his index finger before sid's face) I want to see this broken face' says crossing his arms against his chest. 

"That's an innocent baby jigar...' 

"That's your baby' barking jigar taking a step near sid. 

"You broke my hand and complained me to the management making them to ban me... you screwed my carrier' outraged jigar. 

"Your problem is with us..what the little baby did to you?...' rocky spoke controlling his rage. 

"The baby died and gave pain him...' jigar spit those words venomously. 

"Didn't you feel bad for killing that baby?...' asks sid allowing his fresh tears slip. He didn't feel shame to cry infront of the murderer of his child as he couldn't contain his pain anymore. 

"Not a single bit?...' weeps sid looking straight at jigar's eyes. 

"Sid?...' dhruv held his shoulder for a support. 

"Tell me jigar...' cries him like a baby placing his knuckle against his mouth. 

"My son jigar...' sid turned around then ran off. 

Jigar stunned seeing sid like this as he wasn't expected sid to cry before him. Dhruv and rocky glared at him before follows sid. 

ROLI'S HOUSE:

"So you think he hates you, right?...' aira inquires placing her soft palm on roli's. Roli nodded her head.

"Do you know what he is thinking?..(aira paused) You hates him' 

Roli lifted her head up.

"No i didn't...' 

"I know..i know you lost your baby roli but remember sidhant also lost his first child. You shouldn't have blamed him. I can understand you, you let out your emotions on him but baby he loves you so much, that's why he was so broken roli. Talk to him roli, Please? Allow him to subside your pain...' pleased aira. 

EVENING:

Roli came out from her room and found her four friends were in living room watching movie. Aira saw roli,

"Roli?...' she grins reached roli. 

"Come...'

"Where is h-he?...' asks her looking everywhere to find sid. Aira's smile went big,

"In kitchen..preparing food for you' announced aira tapping roli's cheek. Roli shook her head then takes steps near kitchen. She spotted sid was in kitchen whisking something in a bowl, lost in his thoughts. Her heart went heavy finding his pale face. She walks near then hugged him from behind. Sid startled and saw roli. He placed his hands above hers which were placed on his chest. They both were silent for a moment,

"I-I didn't do anything...Trust me he was my son. How can i...'

"I'm sorry...' roli begins to cry wetting his shirt. 

"I shouldn't have blamed you...' she turned him on her side and cupped his cheeks.

"I didn't do anything roli...' repeated him starts to cry. 

"I'm sorry..I'm sorry.. please don't blame yourself! I'm sorry sidhant' roli joined her forehead with him...

"Don't cry..you didn't do anything'

"I'm sorry roli, I failed to save our son' sid crouched down with roli. 

Roli hugged him closer,

"Shh..Shh..' she shushed him between her weep. 

"My son roli, i lost him. I lost him before he sees this world' says him stroking her flat stomach. 

Roli burst into tears...

"Oh my goddd..why our baby sidhant?' she clutched her stomach remembering her baby. 

"Why did we lose him? Why?...' 

They both let out their pain in eachother arms at last.  

TWO DAYS LATER:

MORNING:

Sid's thoughts were disturbed by his mobile ringtone. He took his mobile and answered the call. 

"Tell me rocky..what?..how? I'm coming' he rose up...

"Roli?..' called him picking his wallet and car key.  

"Hmm?..' roli hums raised her head from her soft pillow.

"Jigar committed suicide' informed him shocking her. 

"Wh-What?...' 

"I told sam to come here, if you want anything you ask h...'

"Take me with you..' 

Sid shakes his head and opened his mouth to reject.

"Please sidhant' begged her.

PRISON:

"we don't know the reason sir, we are investigating. This afternoon in his cell he was found hanging and this....' the police forwards a white paper before sid. 

"It was in his pocket..He have written this for you' informed him placing it sid's hand. Sid's eyebrows scrunched...He opened the paper...

"Sidhant

                   Why didn't you beat the shit out of me for killing your unborn child? You cried? You cried before the murderer of your child..Why? 

You should have beaten me sidhant..beaten to bleed everywhere. Why didn't you do that? Why? But your son did..you read it right, YOUR SON did!

Yesterday night.......

(Flashback)

Jigar was in his cell sleeping but his sleep wasn't peaceful. He was so restless in his sleep as he was squirming under his dirty prison blanket. Jigar opened his eyes and found darkness everywhere..

"Uncle?...' 

"Uncle?...Uncle?..'

The voice was so melody, at the same time shaking his spine. 

"Who are you?...' shouts jigar looking everywhere. 

"Why uncle?...' a voice came from the darkness. Jigar turned and spotted a light ray. His eyes narrowed his eyes to the light. He saw a little silhouette in the only source of light. 

"Wh-Who are y-you?...' stammered jigar in fear. 

"Why uncle?..Do you know how eager I was to see my papa and mumma?..' 

"Who are you?...' jigar shouts moving backward as the silhouette walks near him. 

Suddenly the figure started crying pathetically. It sobs revealing his face to jigar. 

Jigar saw sidhant's resembles on the little baby boy. 

"Oh god' mumbles jigar with a broken heart. 

"Why did you kill me?...' cries the baby sucking his lower lip. He fiddles with his pink fingers,

"I was eager to see my mumma uncle.. you know my papa used to talk to me daily. He sang me many rhymes... I want to see my papa...' he weeps in a feeble tone. He whines aloud bringing tears in jigar's eyes. 

"Please don't cry....' begged jigar covering his ears. 

"Mummaa...Papaaa...' 

"Please...Please...' jigar fell down in his knees without removing his hands. 

"Mummaaa....' 

"Stopppp....'

"Papaaaaaa...' 

"Mu.......Pa......Mu.....Pa

The voice went fade with the air. Jigar opened his teary eyes. He saw the little boy's smiling face who was waving at him

"Bye uncle' he grinned at jigar then mixed with the air. 

"Don't go baby' cries jigar pressing his forehead in the floor.

Jigar gasped sat on the prison bed. He touched his wet cheeks. A sob escaped from jigar's throat. 

(End of flashback)

"I want to say only one thing sidhant... I'M SORRY!' 

Sidhant finished reading it. Roli was the first one begun to weep followed by sid. 

A/N: So my beautiful ladies.....i know you people expected some action packed update but no..not this time. You'll get it in godfather because I don't want some cliche track. Like hero beats villain for hurting his family and blah and blah and blah 😂😂....i made sidhant forgive jigar because if you forgive someone for their unforgivable mistake that's their biggest punishment. So forgive everyone 😍🥰...

(Why the hell I'm talking like a saint🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️)
