"Condition to choose his death to see you and let you leave this place alive. And he agreed to my condition" Naina's words reverberated in Roli's ears.

"No.. it can't be.." Roli held Sid's arm, making him face her. "You can't agree to that stupid condition".

Before Sid could respond, Naina spoke "Well, he did".

Roli glared at Naina and muttered, "you are insane". She never despised anyone as much till this moment.

"I tried not to be, but that didn't help much. So, I just changed myself. When I realised that Sid can never be mine no matter what happens, I've decided to kill him, instead of killing you. And I will also die along with him. Then I can be together with him at least in another world" Naina completely lost her sense at this point.

"I agreed to your condition, right? Now let her go" Sid spoke, calmly.

"Of course, she is free to leave this place. I'll tell my men to drive her back to the party hall" Naina said with a smile. She knew that Sid would do anything to save Roli. And that's why she was so confident about her plan.

"I'm not going anywhere" Roli yelled at Naina before looking at Sid. "I'm not leaving you here".

"Don't be stubborn now" Sid calmly tried to persuade her.

"I don't care if I'm stubborn. I'm not going anywhere leaving you. If you've decided to die then let me die with you" Roli said sternly, looking straight into his eyes.

Sid felt so touched at her words. It's the first time he saw her so determined. And that determination was to die with him. His heart melted at the moment. However, let alone dying, he couldn't even let her get hurt.

He tried to persuade her to leave the place but to no avail. She was stuck to her decision and wouldn't leave no matter what he would say.

Just then there was a sudden commotion outside the room. "What's happening?". Naina frowned, walking to the door and found policemen surrounding her men in the hall.

"You brought the police!" Naina returned and started at Sid in disbelief. She really hadn't expected him to do anything when Roli was in her custody. But, she truly underestimated him.

"I've warned you not to act smart" Naina glared at Sid.

"Not just smart. I've acted over smart" Sid smirked, annoying Naina.

"Then you'll have to face the consequences for being over smart" Naina then held the gun out, pointed at Roli and pulled the trigger.

It happened within a few seconds that Roli couldn't get time to process what exactly happened. When she opened her eyes she found herself in between Sid's arms.

Roli looked at Sid anxiously as she heard the gunshot sound. Holding her in his arms protectively, Sid turned back to find Sameer holding the gun and Naina on the floor.

"Did I enter at the right time?" Sameer looked at Sid with a smile. When Naina was about to shoot, Sid shielded Roli as he dodged along with her, missing the bullet. When Naina was about to shoot again, Sameer entered the room, snatched the gun from her and pushed her aside, making her land directly on the floor.

"Perfect timing" Sid smiled, relieved. When he received the message from Roli's number, he immediately started to reach the place. But, he was interrupted by Sameer at the parking area.

With a lot of persuasions, Sid had to tell Sameer about the message. Sameer wasn't convinced to let Sid go alone. Then they both had come up with a plan.

Sid went to the location first, with Sameer and police following him behind at nearly one-kilometre distance between them. They guessed that the person would doubt Sid if he had come with any help. Hence, they maintained a fair distance between their vehicles. That's why Naina's men couldn't find anyone when they searched. And it didn't take much time for Sameer and the police to reach the place after Sid. Meanwhile, Sid tried his best to distract Naina till they reached and he succeeded.

Soon after, two police officers entered the room as they informed, "we've arrested them all".

"Arrest her too" Sameer pointed at Naina, who was baffled at the sudden turn of the events.

"I will kill you all" Naina cried as she stood up and walked backwards till she reached the wall behind.

Giving deaf ears to her screams, the policeman moved forward to arrest her. Naina scanned the room to escape but couldn't find a chance as the doorway was blocked by Sameer.

Realising that she couldn't escape, Naina's mind ran wild as she noticed a broken window beside her. She gritted her teeth and glaring at Sid, she said, "you want me to get arrested? I won't let that happen".

When all were wondering what she was talking about, Naina swiftly pushed open the door of the window and before anyone could realise what she was up to, she jumped off from the window.

"Hey!" The policeman, who was just a few feet away from her, was stunned to see her jump down. "Go check on her" after looking down, he turned and ordered his colleague.

"What a crazy woman?" Sameer was dumbfounded at her action. While Sid didn't react much and Roli seemed to be in shock.

When they all came out of the building, a police officer reached them and declared, "She's dead".

They just looked at each other without knowing how to respond to Naina's death. Then the police left with her body, arresting her men along with Druv.

Sameer turned to Roli and asked, "Are you okay?".

"I'm fine" Roli replied. She turned to Sid as she complained "why did you scare me by telling me to leave the place?".

"I had to do something till Sameer and police come. So, that was just a drama to keep Naina distracted" Sid explained.

"You should have said that to me. Do you know how scared I was?" Roli stared at him, still tears floating in her eyes.

"How can I say all that when Naina was there with us? And the only thing you know is being scared at everything" Sid rolled his eyes as he taunted her.

"Okay, enough now. We should get back to the hall. All might be worried" Sameer jumped in before Roli could reply to Sid.

"I have something to tell you both" Roli suddenly remembered something. "It was Naina at the resort on that day" she then informed them about Naina using a skin mask, disguising herself as Ritika.

"It was Naina, not Ritika" Roli said, looking at Sameer. While he fell silent as the guilt of blaming Ritika grew in his heart.

When they returned to the party hall, it was night already and the party was almost wrapped up with only a few guests left in the hall.

Sid's friends got relieved finding Roli safe. And they were shocked to know it was Naina behind it after knowing what had happened.

"What a psycho woman she is?" Arun growled.

"She was" Sid corrected, making them frown. Then he informed them about Naina's death.

"I may sound insensible for saying this, but that's a good riddance" Arun said as he hated the woman. While others felt the same as Naina had only created trouble for them over and over again.

Sid's friends did not let anyone know about Roli's disappearance. Though they didn't know where Sid and Sameer had gone, they believed that they both might have gone for Roli. So, they managed to hide the news as they waited for Sid.

Finally, relieving at Roli's safe return, they all got back to the party. Roli went to meet Sujata and Mataji. While the others started leaving one by one as the party came to an end.

Sameer, who was in guilt for blaming Ritika, was waiting for a chance to talk to her. He walked to her, who was with Sid to bid bye to others as they left the hall.

Sid found Sameer standing at Ritika's back and staring at her, nervously. He could guess what the latter was thinking. As if giving him the chance to speak, Sid quietly left the place.

Sameer silently thanked Sid in his mind for leaving and cleared his throat, gaining Ritika's attention. Ritika turned around and was taken aback for a moment to find Sameer.

"I.. I'm.. Sorry" Sameer was so guilty that he stammered.

"Why are you saying sorry?" Ritika frowned at him.

"For the misunderstanding.." Sameer couldn't understand why he was feeling so nervous to ask for an apology. He wasn't egoistic to ask for forgiveness. He'd never mind doing that if he had done a mistake. But, for the first time, he was anxious.

"That's fine. There's no need for apologising" Ritika smiled, shoving off the incident.

"But, still, I blamed you. I shouldn't have done that.." Sameer didn't know how to ask for a proper apology from her.

"You were just being protective of your friend. If I was in your place, I would have done the same. Now that everything is cleared, let's just forget about it" Ritika said, genuinely admiring his caring for Roli.

Even three years ago when the incident happened, Ritika understood his concern for Roli. Though he was a bit harsh to her, she could still see his caring for his friend.

"So, do you forgive me?" Sameer asked, hesitantly.

"I have forgiven you long back. Now stop talking about that topic" Ritika's response made Sameer relieved. He sighed as if a burden was lifted off his chest.

"Well, I'm opening my interior designer office next week. I hope you're staying back till then to attend the ceremony" Ritika offered the invitation.

"Yeah, sure. I will" Sameer replied with a smile. Soon Ritika's car arrived and she left, waving bye at him.

Bharadwaj family too left the hall, followed by Jamanlal and Sameer. While Sid told Jamanlal that he'd drive Roli home.

When Roli occupied the passenger seat, she turned to Sid and asked, "if you came alone without police help, would you have agreed to her condition?".

Sid stared at her sudden question. Looking at the road ahead, he answered, "if I can get rid of your stupid questions then yeah, I would have agreed to die".

Could she still not realize that he would do anything for her? He wondered.

Roli hit him on the shoulder as a response to his answer. "You would have agreed because you love me". She smiled, warmly.

"Love you? Only in your dreams" Sid rolled his eyes, making her glare at him.

"Then why did you get my name tattooed?" Crossing her arms, Roli turned in her seat to face him.

"Tattoo?" Sid was stunned. He didn't know she saw his tattoo yet. "How did you know?".

"I saw it a few days back when you were drunk" Roli replied.

"So, you took advantage of me when I'm not in my senses to see me naked?" Sid raised his eyebrow at her.

"Not that. I just saw it accidentally" Roli quickly explained after his wild accusation.

"When did you get the tattoo?" Roli asked, curiously.

"Must have done it when I'm drunk. It can't be my conscious decision" obviously, Sid was just teasing her.

"Yeah, so believable" Roli pouted, turned her face away from and looked out of the window.

Sid gently punched on her nose, annoying her. Roli held his hand while he took out his other hand to pinch her cheek.

"Focus on driving" Roli yelled, annoyed at his actions. But, Sid didn't stop disturbing her, though he focused on driving.

And just like that, their bickering started again. That's how their relationship was. They couldn't stay away from each other. And when they were together, they would bicker and fight over anything and everything. And that's what makes their love bloom.
