Chapter 25

"Stop it sidhant...' groans roli turned other side holding her 6 months baby bump. 

"Sidhantt...' she pouts her lips and searched sid's hand to push it away to stop his continuous strokes but she couldn't find any. She opened her eyes,

"Sidhant' calls her spotted him over her shoulder who was lying on his stomach snoring silently. Her confusion turned into sob as she feels her baby's movement inside her stomach for the first time. 

"Sidhant' cries roli shakes him holding his shoulder. Sid shoot up from his lying position. 

"What happened? Are you ok?..' petrified him cupping her cheeks. 

"Ba-Baby-Our baby...' she choked sending shiver inside him.

"What happened?..are you feeling any pain?..' fear laced in his tone. He touched her lower abdomen with his trembling hand. 

"Our baby st-starts moving...' she smiles wide. Sid released his breath which he wasn't know he was holding.

"Oh roli' sid fell on her shoulder and catches his breath to become normal. 

"Our baby bear is moving sidhant' announced roli grabbing his hair handful raising his head. Realisation hit him hard as a huge grin breaks into his face. 

"What?...' sid whispers looking straight into her eyes.

"Yes' she nods her head guiding his right hand near her belly. Sid rested his hand above her big tummy. 

Sid gasped as he sensed a smooth kick in the center of his palm. He took his hand back and stared at his hand. 

"You felt?...'

"My baby is moving' beams sid raised her t-shirt up then pressed his cheek in her hard stomach. 

"Hey baby bear...' calls sid nuzzling his nose against her skin. 

"Say hello to papa' asks him planting his feathery kisses on her belly where is baby growing. 

"Oww' giggles sid as he received a kick from his baby on his lips. Roli laughs shaking her head,

"You deserve it...' admitted roli ruffling sid's sleepy tresses. Sid scoffs rolling his eyes before continues to talk to his child. 

CANTEEN:

"For god's sake that's my baby...' grunts sid looking at aira who was pressing her ear in roli's tummy listening something only god knows what. Aira showed him finger making others chuckles except sid. 

"Is riya alive?...' queries dhruv munching his chips. Rocky shrugged his shoulders,

"Alive but i don't know why she's not crossing our path..' 

"You want her to cross our path?...' sid raised his eyebrows. 

"Life is so boring without we roasting her yaar' smirks rocky making everyone laugh.  

Days have passed....

4TH YEAR ONCOLOGY CLASSROOM:

Every students were listening their professor john's class keenly. 

Someone's mobile rings disturbing the class. John groaned under his breath.

"What?...Coming' spoke riya then rose up from her place.

"Si...'

"Out riya' john commanded before riya finish her sentence. Riya took her every belonging in her hands then rushed out. Before she move out she stopped in her track and saw sid for a minute then went. Sid scrunched his eyebrows but shooed it away. 

Sid 🐻 - "Hey mumma bear...'  (3:14 pm)

Roli smiles after reading her siddhant's message. 

Mumma bear 🐨 - "Hey papa bear🤪' (3:14 pm)

Sid laughs...

 Sid 🐻 - "So what my both babies are doing👶👶?' (3:14 pm)

Mumma bear 🐨 - "Nothing, just simply sitting...So boring sidhant 😴' (3:15 pm)

Sid 🐻 - "Aww..you want to go over to canteen with me🤔?...' (3:15 pm)

Mumma bear 🐨 - "💃💃💃' (3:15 pm)

Sid 🐻 - "😂😂' (3:15 pm)

Sid 🐻 - "Let's go then...' (3:15 pm)

Mumma bear 🐨 - "Already on my way😝' (3:16 pm)

Sid shakes his head with a smile then got up from his place. 

"Hey guys, I'm out. See you later...'

"Where?....' whines aira stood in her feet. 

"Canteen with roli....'

"I'm also coming...' she ran out before sid say no. Sid saw his friends who were also got up to join with him. 

"Let's go sam...'

"Where?...' asks samira without raising her head. 

"Canteen yaar...' huffed roli. 

"5 minutes roli...i need to submit this before 4' sam pouted her lips at roli with a puppy face. Roli chuckles,

"Stop it drama queen...you come slowly, anyway it will take five minutes at least for me to cross two classroom because my big belly...so chill and come'

Sam laughs...

"That's true...and madam ji don't dare to descend in the stairs without me. Bhai will kill you first then me if he knows you climbed without me' informed sam seriously. Roli rolled her eyes. 

"Yeah Yeah i know' roli took her bag then went out. 

She reached the stairs...

"Where is this gi...?'

"Hello roliii...' sings someone behind roli startling her. 

She whipped her head and saw the person...

"You? What are you doing her?...' inquires roli hiding her fear. 

"I came to see the girl who spoiled my life and oh wow look at this...' laughs the person eyeing roli's tummy. Roli wrapped her arms around her baby bump protectively. The person's smile turned into fury. 

"I'm suffering in my life because you but you are living happily huh?...' 

Roli flinched as venom spills from the person's mouth. 

"No No i can't let this happen..i can't...say bye to your baby...' said the person held roli's shoulder then pushed her from the stairs making her fall back. 

"NOOOOO' screams roli fell in the steps and starts rolling. 

"Maaaa' she cries clutching her stomach. 

"Boro loker beti'lo lomba lomba chool

Amon matha bendhe debo laal genda phool' 

sings sam came out her classroom stuffing her notes inside her bag. 

"MAAAA'

she flinched hearing the loud scream. She knew the voice...

"Oh my godddd' whines sam ran towards the source praying inside. 

She saw students were in circle and shouting call the ambulance. 

She pushed them...

"Roliii....' sam crouched beside roli who was shrieking in agony holding her no so hard belly. She understood something wasn't right...something was wrong... something happened to her baby. The mere thought makes her see black in her vision. 

GRANT HOSPITAL:

ICU:

"it's all my fault...i should've been with her.. it's all my fault..' sam cries leaning on dhruv's chest. 

"I don't want anything happen to my baby' weeps aira placing her head in rocky's lap. 

"Nothing will happen' assured rocky caressing her hairs. He lifted his head and saw sidhant was sitting in the corner chair staring the white wall without speaking anything but his face reflects how much pain he was holding inside. 

Sid closed his eyes....

FLASHBACK:

Sid and his friends were moving near roli's block chatting with eachother. His Mobile vibrates inside his pocket. 

"Oh sam...your girl dude' he winks at dhruv before answering the call. 

"Ye....'

His heart dropped in his stomach shaking the floor under him. His mobile plummeted as he couldn't hold it with his shivering hand. 

"Sid' aira touched his shoulder seeing his dumbfounded state. 

"Siddd...' aira calls runs behind him who was sprinting somewhere. 

"Oh rollliiii' aira burst into tears while sid took his unconscious girl in his arms then strides towards the parking lot.

Tears scrolls down in his cheeks but his lips were tied up. He wasn't speak anything just lying on her shoulder hugging her tightly. 

"We are here' informed rocky stopping his car infront his college hospital. Sid picked roli up moved inside the hospital. 

END OF FLASHBACK

Sid tightened his fist recalling the event. His thoughts got disturbed by the door opening sound. He got up but didn't go near her instead he waits and wants to see his friends reaction. 

Doctor told something to his friends. Aira covered her mouth and wails shattering his heart in pieces. 

Sid can see tears in rocky and dhruv who were trying to console their respective girls. Aira saw sid, she takes steps near sid slowly and carefully. 

She stood a step away from him,

"I'm sorry sidhant...' aira apologized with a sad face. Sid shakes his head cryingly...

"They couldn't save our baby bear....' 

Sid walks back...

"Please sidhant, you have to be strong for roli.. Please do not let yourself be broken... please please..' she clutched his shirt leaning on his chest. 

"Be strong sid' mumbles aira tries to give him strength. 

"Sir?...' called someone behind airaa.

Sid lifted his head and glanced a nurse was standing there. 

"One minute' she calls went inside the ICU where roli was kept. Airaa pressed her palm on her wrist showing her support. 

Sid winces as soon as the AC breeze touched him. He spots roli was lying on the white bed. His eyes travels down to her stomach which was flat. 

Sid let out a loud sob realising his child was no more. 

"Sir?...' called the nurse.

"It's a boy...' she forwards the blue bundle before him. Unknown to himself his feet took him near the bundle.  

He peeks inside spotted his gorgeous baby boy....

"You're lying....he is sleeping' said sid touched his boy's head. 

"Hey baby bear...wake up'

"See papa is here' he caressed his child's cheek confusing the nurse. 

"No sir, the baby is di...'

"Shh...he is sleeping' whispers sid smilingly. 

"Sir...' 

"I said shut up' yelled him startling the poor nurse. 

Airaa and others came inside...

"Sidhant?...' rocky held him..

"She's lying rocky...my boy is alive! He is-He is just sleeping' he points his finger at his son. Airaa darted near the child...

"Oh my godddd' she squeals placing her hand in her chest. 

"Why did you take my beautiful baby away from me?...' weeps her cupping the baby's cheek. 

"No airaa, he is just sleeping'

"No...No..' mumbles rocky making sid to see him.

"He is dead!'

"No!' sid shook his head vehemently. 

"No...'

"No...' he took back steps breathing heavily.

"He is slee-slee-sleeping' slurred him as the world around him starts to spin..He felt as if someone had pulled the air out of his lungs....

"He's not d...'

Sid collapsed on the ground fainted. 

"SIDHANTTT...' Calls his friends sat near him. 

PRECAP:

"You killed my son...'

"I don't want to see your face' shouts roli hits him continuously on his chest.
