Ram Drabble: Tears
My eyes welled up. Honestly, I cannot say why. As Priya walked away, proud, independent, yet broken like a fragile glass, every cell in my body desperately wished to call out her name. I wanted to stop her, to hold her. I wanted to tell her that everything will be fine and that all the pain was in the past. I wanted to wipe away the unshed tears that she hid behind the facade.
Instead, I looked down, fighting away my tears.
