Chachi threw Taani out of her house, but of course Taani is stubborn. She climbed to her room through window. Took shower n got freshened - up

Taani - ye awaz?

She searched in her bag n found a packet of potato chips n a box of instant cup noodles.

Taani - ye...???

She found a chit in it.

Mujhe pata hai, tune kuch khaya nahi hoga, aur ghar pe teri chudail chachi khane nahi degi. Ye rahe kuch stuffs, yaad se kha lena.

Tera Simba.

Simba = Shivam.

Taani - ye Shivam bhi na.

She starts having potato chips n bought hot water somehow from kitchen for instant noodles. She ate it n went to sleep.

Next day.

Shivam called taani. She received it in sleep

Taani - kaun hai be?
Shivam - mai hu.
Taani - ha to kya naachu. Call qq kiya?
Shivam - college aane ka irada hai ya nahi tera. 10 baj chuke hai. 10.15 ka lecture hai. 1 to semis start hone wale hai, ending me attendance 50% nahi hua to lag jayegi apni.
Taani - are yaar.... achha... aati hu. Wait kar.
Shivam - hmm. Jaldi aa...

Again the same routine. She wore her clothes, mouthfreshner n deo made her look she had shower, n left via window again.

At college.

Taani had bruises on her face n hand.

Shivam - ye tujhe kya hua? Tu fir waha gayi thi?
Taani - jana pda yaar. Wahi to 1 jagh hai jaha mujhe 1 sath 1 hi din me unlimited paise mil sakte hai.
Shivam - but at what cost yaar. Mu hath tudwa ke.... tujhe kitne baar kaha hai, wo jagh dangerous hai... tujhe paise chahiye to mai hu na.
Taani - tu mera jawab janta hai shivam. Mai tujhse paise nahi le sakti.
Shivam - ha janta hu janta hu, tu itne paise nahi le sakti, bahot khuddar hai n blablabla.
Taani - ab tu sunana bnd karega.
Shivam - medical room chal, ghar pe to bataya nahi hoga ke koi tujhe dawa laga de.
Taani - tu meri maa k tarah baat mat kar samjha.
Shivam - tu chal rahi hai ya lafa khayegi mere hath se.
Taani - aise nahi.
Shivam - to fir?

Taani sat on her back.

Taani - ab chal.
Shivam - tu nahi sudhregi.
Taani - ab bolte bolte chal. Kanda lelo, batata lelo.
Shivam - ha, aur taani ko bhi lelo.
Taani - teri to...
Shivam - achha achha....

They reached medical room, applied ointment on her bruises.

Shivam - chal hogaya.
Taani - hmm.

By 11.

Shivam - oh shit. Bhai ki class.... bhaago.
Taani - tere bhai ne naak me dm kar ke rakha hai. Kuch to karna padega.
Shivam - jo karna hai baad me karna... abhi bhaag.

They ran n reached the class.

TaaVam - may we come in?
Rey - u guys r late.
Shivam - sorry.

He started making faces in front his bhai.... n Rey smiled.

Rey - come in.

Shivam entered n taani was entering.

Rey - not u taani.
Taani - abhi to tumne kaha come in.
Rey - maine sirf shivam ko enter karne bola coz he apologised. Aap bhi sorry bol ke andar aa sakti hai.
Taani - sorry.... n mai. Mai kabhi sorry nahi bolti.
Rey - to aap enter bhi nahi kar sakti.
Taani - what the....
Shivam - bha... I mean sir... taani sach me kabhi kisiko sorry nahi bolti. Plzz let her in.
Rey - I will not. Apologise then enter happily.

He was just playing with her.

Taani - cool then. I don't give a f*ck about this lecture...
Rey - (said under his breath - uff ye ladki. Kitna gaali deti hai. 1 din kaan se khoon nikal ke rahegi.)

Rey - wait. What happened to ur face.
R'G - are sir. Don't ask.... firse kisine taani se panga liya hoga.
Rey - taani, I asked u something?
Taani - it's nthng. Tum mujhe class me le rahe ho ya mai jau?
Rey - OK OK. Get in...

Taani entered with her attitude.

They continued with the lecture.

After the lecture ended.

Rey - OK guys. Kal k period me practical hai jo hum chemistry lab me karenge.
All - thank u sir.

They all left except TaaVam.

Rey - wait taani.
Shivam - Mar gaye.
Rey - chhote, tu ja. Mujhe taani se baat karna hai.

Shivam noded n left.

Taani - what is it?
Rey - I need ur help.
Taani - help?
Rey - can u b my secretary for 15 days.
Taani - excuse me?
Rey - u heard it right. Mai lectures ke alawa apne family ka business bhi handle karta hu.
Taani - business hai to professor ka job qq?
Rey - becoz I like teaching. But abhi new join kiya hu, so sab kuch handle nahi ho pa raha hai.
Taani - y me?
Rey - bcoz u have potential. I've seen it in u? N jo b 15 days ka pay hoga I'll pay it to u.
Taani - but mai weekends pe cafe me kaam karti hu... I can't leave that.
Rey - 2 din tum chhutti lelena that I can handle.
Taani - n raat k 9 baje k baad mai aapka koi order nahi manungi. 9 is the deadline.
Rey - cool.
Taani - kab se start karna hai?
Rey - kal se mrng 8.
Taani - hmm.
Rey - n this ur advance.

He handed her an envelope filled with money.

Taani - kaam ke pehle.
Rey - humare company me join karne wale har employee ko advance milta hai, so the same is for u 2.
Taani - hmm.

She left taking that envelop.

Rey - I know tumhe paiso ki zarurt hai, but kisise paise lena tumhare values k against hai. Isliye jo tarika mujhe sahi laga maine kiya. Ab shayd tumhe wo jagh nahi jana hoga jis jagh ki baat chhote kar raha tha.

By evening.

Taani - chal, nikl rahi hu mai. Late ho raha hai.
Shivam - hmm.
Taani - kya hua. Shakl pe 12 qq baje hai.
Shivam - kuch nahi.
Taani - firse usne tujhe reject kiya.
Shivam - hmm.
Taani - tujhe kitne baar kaha hai, love is for losers. Love means surrender... it proves that u've lost. Samjha.... loser banna chhod n career pe dhyan de.
Shivam - dekh... I know u hate love. But yaar, mujhe to baksh de....
Taani - thik hai fir. Bhaad me ja... jab dil tootega to mere pass mat aana.

Saying so she left for her part-time job.

By 11, taani was moving for her home.

Taani - Thanx to that professor, filhal mujhe apna mu nahi tudwana hoga paise ke liye.

She reached home.

Chachi - paise laayi?
Taani - ye bhootni to paise k smell se hi laar tapkate aagayi.
Chachi - kuch kaha?
Taani - nahi nahi. Ye lo, aap ke paise.

She counted it...

Chachi - hmm, thik hai. Aaja andar.

Here with T'M, she had tears in her eyes.

Taani - are maa, kya hua. Usne kuch kiya kya?
T'M - nahi.
Taani - to fir ye aasu?
T'M - bus... gussa aata hai. Ke tere papa ka itna bada karz tujhe chukana pd raha hai. Itne km umr me tune apni aur meri dono ki zimmedari uthali. Jaha mujhe tera future sawarna chahiye tha, hum present ke liye struggle kar rahe hai.
Taani - maa. Kya tu bhi... kaisi baat le ke baith gayi. Agar bacho ko virasat me maa-baap ka paise, izzat aur shauhrat milta hai, to unhe unka karz aur beizzati bhi milta hai. Mai ye sab dil pe nahi leti, aur tu bhi mat le.

T'M nods.

Taani - mai ja rahi hu nahane. Kuch khane ko milega?
T'M - hmm, abhi banati hu.

Taani had her bath, had dinner n then off to bed.

Next day by 6.

Taani - are yaar, ye alarm kisne lgaya... bnd karo ise....

But the alarm was ringing continuously. Taani woke up unwillingly.

Taani - hey bhagwan... ye zulm tujhe mujhpe hi karna hai kya? Qq uthaya mujhe itna subah.

Then it clicked her.

Taani - oh shit. Mai qq bhool jati hu humesha.

She ran to have her bath... got ready n rushed to college.

At college by 7.55

In staff room.

Taani - Gud mrng sir.

Rey looked at his watch.

Rey - not bad ha.... 8 ke pehle hi u reached.
Taani - m punctual at my work.
Rey - that's good. Ye kuch notes ready kiya hai maine, just have a look at it. Sab chapter wise n students ko samjh aye vaisa hai ya kuch changes karna hoga.

Taani says under her breath - urgh!! Mai pdhai se hi bhagti hu n ye idiot mujhse notes taiyar karwa raha hai...

Rey - kuch kaha?
Taani - nahi... bilkul nahi.
Rey - check it thoroughly. Mai puchhunga is ke baad tumse... kya kya go through kiya tumne.
Taani - what!!
Rey - yes Ms. Toofan Express. Now concentrate...

Later in chemistry lab during college hours.

Kriya - vaise is prof k padhane ka tareeka superb hai na.
Sarah - yeah babe. N kafi hot bhi hai.
Sneha - seriously guys.... wo humse kitna bada hai.
Sarah - age is just a number yaar....
Rey - girls.... where's ur attention. Chemicals exchange hogaye to problem ho sakti hai dear. Careful...
Kriya - kitna achhe se treat karta hai... haaye...
Vicky - prof pe line maarna bnd kar nahi to abhi bulata hu Rishi ko... (Sarah's bf)

All laugh while Sarah makes an annoyed face.
