              Epilogue..... 

As this relationship needs the official recognition for the society... 

Maneet marriage.... 

It's just a few days before Avanti's second birthday... 

Her first birthday was celebrated in Canada itself with Maneet and Aditi... 

Dadi insists on celebrating the second birthday with her in Delhi... 

As usual she pretends that she has only a few more days left before she could enjoy such functions with family... 

Geet too wants to go back and spend some time with everyone... 

Maan has been planning an extension of the restaurant... 

The business has grown leaps and bounds with Maan spearheading the revamp with a changed menu that included the entry of street food like Mumbai's ubiquitous Vada pav, pav bhaji, Delhi's pani puri, bhel puri and even the humble dal bati, mattar kulcha and dosa varieties finding a place in the menu.. 

It's actually changed to cater Geet's platters... 

But it is a huge success with Geet's little tips that gave those dishes an authentic Indian flavor which became a big hit not only among the Indian community but also the others.... 

Now they are going to have an exclusive counter for chats and sweets... 

The dishes are modified for takeaway convenience... 

Maan is working day and night for that .  

Geet wants to help but she is busy with the kids... 

She is also tired of doing everything on her own with very little help from Maan... 

She wants to go back to the families and take some rest.. 

Geet knows that Maan won't have time for a trip back home if the extension work is started...

Geet then pesters Maan that he takes a break from work and refresh himself so that he can deliver to his full potential... 

Maan also likes to meet his family and friends (Dev and Pari) .... 

Pari has just delivered a cute boy, Aswath... 

So they plan a three month stay in India... 

Geet is so happy... 

Geet has started preparing her schedule already... She has to visit Mumbai to see Gayathri, she has to go meet her Nani at Amritsar, then they should be going to Hoshiarpur obviously... Pari and Aswath are in Delhi only... Tara is also expecting a baby in the next few days... 

Time flies too fast.... 

Ranno said that even Darji feels sorry for whatever happened and how they treated Maneet, now he wants to meet them once, he has been receiving the news of their happy reunion and also their second child.... 

He feels guilty for not believing in Maan then... 

Maninder is also missing Geet so much... He has been hearing about everything from Ranno... he wants to invite Maan to Hoshiarpur when they come to India it seems... 

Geet doesn't talk about this with Maan for she knows Maan is hurt by her family... It's a matter of Maan's self respect that he is the one to decide if he could forgive them or not, Geet has no say in that, she is not ready to let anything hurt Maan even if it's about her family... 

Geet is not going to request Maan to accompany her when she goes to the Handa home... She has to ask his permission to take the children home... 

Geet knows that Maan would only be happy to let her get back with her family, but would he be ready to forget and forgive everything? Would he be comfortable meeting them again? 

Geet won't disturb him unnecessarily... 

Maneet are back... 

Vicky has come to pick them up from the airport.... 

Vicky: welcome home bro 

Vicky goes and hugs Maan... 

Geet: hwz Tara? 

Vicky: Tara missed you very much bhabhi, ab toh woh sabse zyada aap se hi baat karthi hai, ab aap aagaye na? Woh aapko nahi chodegi, aap usse thoda bachke rehna 

Geet: aur Dadima? 

Vicky: dadi toh kabse aap logon ka intezar kar rahe hai, haye hummari Aditi itni badi ho gayi hai 

Vicky lifts Aditi... 

Aditi: chachu aap Avanti ko lelo, mein ab badi ho gayi hoon, haina Papa? 

Maan: haan Vicky, let her walk 

Vicky: hare chachu hothe kisliye? Hum apni princess ko utake hi jayenge 

They reach KM.. 

Everyone is happy to see Maneet and the children... 

Kiran welcomes Geet with a warm hug... 

Kiran: hai Avanti, dadi ke paas aao

Kiran takes Avanti from Maan... 

Tara comes... 

Geet goes and hugs Tara.. 

Geet: haye, abhi tummari pet bahut achche se dikhne lagi hai, kahin twi s toh nahi aarahe hai? 

Tara blushes... 

Vicky: aaise mat kaho babhi, mein pehle hi pareshaan hoon ki mein do do mushkilon ko ek saath kaise sambaloonga 

Tara gets angry: issiliye meine kaha ki mein apne ghar jaathi hoon, par koi maatha hi nahi 

Kiran: aap kyun jaaoge beta, aap chahe toh hum iss shaitan ko kahin dhoor bhejte hai, Maan, Mumbai office ko sambalne ke liye aap Vicky ko bhejna chahte na? 

Maan: haan maa, Vicky tayaar raho, hum kabhi bhi jaa sakte 

Tara: what? Vicky, tum mujhe akhela chodke jaa nahi sakte 

Vicky: dekha bhai, mein toh pura ka pura phasgaya 

Annie just comes with Dadi... 

Dadi: hare tum log aagaye? 

Geet gets Dadi's blessings... 

Dadi: hum Geet ke liye kuch gifts lene gaye the 

Annie: haan Geet, ye lo 

Annie gives a huge package... 

Geet is puzzled... 

Annie: ye sab ke liye dresses hai, Vicky tum bhai ke saath jaake unka suit lekhe aana 

Maan: ye sab ki kya zaroorat hai? 

Annie: haina? Hum Avanti ki birthday ko dhoom dhaam se celebrate karenge , haina Aditi? 

Aditi: haan, aur Diya kahan hai? 

Annie: Diya Arjun ke saath gayi hai, aap ke liye gift lene 

Aditi: mein ne bhi Diya ke liye Barbie doll laya hai, mama, dikhao usse 

Geet: let Diya come Aditi, we'll then open everyone's gifts 

Kiran: haan, abhi jaake tum log rest karo 

Geet takes Avanti with her... 

Annie: Aditi hummare paas rahegi, Diya aathe hi hogi 

Maan and Geet go to the OH... 

They take rest that whole day... 

Next morning... 

Dev comes to meet them... 

He is here to stay with Pari and his little son for sometime... 

Maan: halo Dev, nice to meet you after a long time 

Dev: I would have come yesterday itself, but I thought you would be tired 

Geet: hwz aunty? 

Dev: she is great, just wants to see you all 

Geet: Maan, hum agle hafte Mumbai jayenge na?

Maan: most probably 

Dev: where's my princess? 

Aditi just comes... 

Aditi: Dev papa 

She comes running seeing Dev... 

Dev lifts her and kisses her, she kisses him back... 

Dev: I missed you darling 

Aditi: me too 

Dev: are you ready to meet your little bro? 

Aditi: where is he? 

Dev: with his mama, let's go see him, ok 

Aditi: ok 

Dev: Maan, I'll take Aditi with me, tum log aaj thoda rest karke kal aana, Pari is waiting to see you all 

Geet: hum aaj hi aanewale the, haina Maan?

Maan: haan 

Dev: no problem, you must be jet lagged, kal aao 

Maan: ok, Dev 

Dev takes Aditi with him... 

Aditi is happy to be playing with little Aswath... 

That evening.... 

There is some surprise visitors who have come all the way from Hoshiarpur to meet Geet... 

Darji, Maninder and Ranno have come to see Geet... 

Geet is totally shocked to see them... 

She is still in disbelief... 

Dadi: hare beta, aap apne pariwar ke swagat nahi karenge? 

Geet calls Maan... 

Maan too comes to the mansion... He too didn't expect the guest... 

Geet keeps looking at Maan... 

She is worried that Maan wouldn't be so happy to see her family... 

Yes, Maan is upset with them not because they didn't trust him but because they never supported their own daughter... 

Maan gets near Geet and askscher in a low tone.. 

Maan: Geet, tumne mujhe kyun bhulaya? tummare pariwar hai, tum milo unse 

Geet: aapko nahi milna hai toh mujhe bhi nahi milna hai 

Geet is still not looking at their direction... 

Maan: tummari marzi 

Maan tries to leave... Dadi stops him...

Dadi: rukh jayiye Maan, ye log aap ko shadhi mein invite karne aaye hai 

Geet is confused... Maybe some of her cousins marriage... Maybe Lucky... 

Lucky ke Shadi hai toh Maan zaroorat aayega, par Lucky ko invitation lekhe aana chahiye.... 

Maan: Geet, tum invitation lekhe aao 

Maninder: koi nahi puthar, ye aap hi lelo, aap lethe ya damadji, kya farak hota hai? 

Geet gets it from her father... 

Geet: ye kiski shadi hai? 

Ranno: aap hi dekhlo 

Geet: ye kya? Meri shadi? Itne din ke badh aapko meri shadi karna chahte hai? Patha haina ki hummare do do bache hai 

Maan stops hearing that... Are they fools to get Geet married to someone else? 

Maan goes and takes Geet with him immediately... 

Maan: Geet, tum inse baat kyun karthi ho? Patha haina ki ye log kabhi nahi sudhrenge 

Geet: par Maan, aap galat samajh rahe hai 

Maan gets angry... 

Maan: toh jao, shadi karlo, aur haan, bachoon ko bhool jao 

Geet: ye kya keh rahe ho aap?

Maan: aakhir tum bhi ek Handa hi haina ?

Dadi: dekha, yadi Geet ab Khurana hothe toh aaisa sawaal hi nahi uttha, issiliye hum sab chate hai ki Geet ki shadi karwathe hai iss bar 

Maan: dadi, aap bhi? 

Geet thrusts the invitation in his hands.. 

Geet: pehle isse dekhlo, phir aap bhi pagal ho jaoge 

Maan: aaise kya baat hai? 

Geet: ye dekho, Geet Handa weds Maan Singh Khurana 

Maan: what? 

Maan snatches the card and finds out that it's his marriage invitation card, the venue and every detail is the same except the date.... 

It's all done according to his wish, the way he was planning the wedding back then... 

Maan: ye kaise ho sakta? 

Dadima: hare, ye kaise sawaal hai? Humne sara interzam karliya hai, aap ko bas Vicky ke saath jaake apna things ready karna hai, Geet ke liye toh Annie ne sara interzam karliya hai 

Maan: par Dadi, I was thinking about a simple wedding at the temple, with just our family 

Geet too thinks that it would be better, she is already a mother of two.. 

Dadi: Maan, hum apne badi bahu ko grand welcome karna chahte hai, humne aapke papa ke shadi bhi miss kardi, aap ke shadi ke sapna toh pura karne dijiye 

Darjhi: damadji, humne apne galti ki prayaschit karne ki ek moka toh do 

Darji pleads Maan with folded hands..  

Maninder: hum apne beti ke liye itna toh kar hi sakte haina? 

Maan couldn't refuse for its Geet's family's first request from him... 

Moreover Geet is waiting to be addressed as Mrs. Khurana for a while... 

Maan: Geet, tum kya kehte ho? 

Geet: mein kya kahoon? Aap ko jo karna karo Maan 

Maan finds out that Geet wants to do this way from looking at her eyes fixed on the card still.... 

Maan: I don't mind if the crowd is limited 

Dadi: that's great, Congrats Darji, ab toh sab ki muh meeta karna chahiye, Nakul, bring the cake 

Everyone who were hiding come out clapping and cheering.... 

Vicky: congrats bro 

Annie: shadi mubarak ho Geet 

Tara: congrats didi 

Nakul brings the cake... 

Diya: mama, aaj Avanti ki birthday party hai? 

Annie: haan, it's time for celebration... 

It's like a trial for Avanti's birthday... 

Maneet cut the cake and the entire family is happy after so many years wait... 

Annie takes Geet for the wedding shopping... 

As usual Maan and Arjun become the baby sitters..  Vicky is also taking the training...  

One night... 

Maan: Geet, tum toh sach mein bahut kush dikhti ho 

Geet: aaisa kuch nahi hai 

Maan: aur kushi se tum zyada khubsurat ho gayi ho 

Maan pulls her closer... 

Geet: kushi toh hai, ab se hum pati patni bhi ho jayenge, ab mein Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana honewali hoon 

Maan: tum toh bahut pehle hi meri ho gayi ho Geet 

Geet: ek chutki sindoor ki keemat aap kya jaannoge Maan babu? 

Maan pulls her into a hug... 

Maan: mujhe pehle hi patha hota toh mein itne dher nahi karta 

Geet: I was just kidding, I'm happy as long as I'm with you 

Maan: so what did you do all this time with Annie? 

Geet: just shopping 

Maan: I have only one problem 

Geet: what's that? Meine kuch galti kiya hai kya? 

Maan: haan, bahut badi galti 

Geet: meine aaisa kya kiya?

Maan: you have completely ignored me Geet, after all you are my bride, I want you to look exquisite 

Geet: am I not good enough for the MSK?

Maan: MSK is lucky to have met this beauty, but still it's going to be your special day 

Geet: our special day Maan 

Maan: but it's even more special for you Geet, not every bride gets to marry the father of her two children, I'm already past all this drama, I'm well settled now, but you are so excited about this 

Geet: it's a bit funny to think about that, but I'm marrying the man I love, so it's going to be a very heart warming experience 

Maan: you know what I'm looking forward to? 

Geet: what? 

Maan: I am waiting to see my innocent shy Geet at the wedding, I can see a glimpse of her already 

Geet looks at herself in the mirror... 

Maan: isn't she beautiful? 

Geet: I don't see any difference 

Maan: you got to be MSK for that, you don't know how happy I'm Geet, seeing that Geet back 

Geet: I don't get it, but I'm happy as long as you are 

Maan: and you didn't show the lehenga to me 

Geet: Maan, you only selected it, I sent you the pictures wearing that know

Maan: everyone girl out there should be jealous of Geet's groom, haina? 

Geet: they should be, there is only one MSK and he is mine already: if I knew that you would be so thrilled about this marriage I would I said yes to dadi long back 

Geet: but I wouldn't have wanted to get married then 

Maan: why Geet? 

Maan is shocked to hear that... 

Geet: I always wanted a normal happy wedding, not the masked wedding in those gloomy times 

Maan: that's true, thank God everything is getting back to normal now 

Geet: people are impatiently waiting for happy times to let out the stress 

Maan: and our wedding would be a great relief for a lot of them 

Geet: that feels good 

Maan: I can't wait to see you as my bride 

Maan didn't realise that he would be enjoying this wedding this much... He must thank Dadi for this... 

Maneet enjoy the wedding process together... They are lucky to get ready for the wedding day in each other's company... 

Geet is getting ready at the OH..  

Maan has been given the guest house.... 

Annie and Tara are there to help the bride... 

Maan wants to see his Geet... 

He comes and waits outside the room.... 

First Aditi and Diya come out with a message... 

Aditi: papa, this is the girl's room, aap jao 

But Maan won't leave without seeing Geet... 

After a while Aditi takes Avanti with her... 

Avanti looks cute in her silk skirt and choli... Even Aditi and Diya look like angels in silk skirts... 

All the girls look pretty... 

Little Avanti comes and holds Maan's hands... She drags him and tries to take him inside... 

Aditi stops her... 

Aditi: hare Avanti, papa andar nahi aa sakte 

Maan: kyun nahi aa sakte? 

Avanti: kyun nahi? 

Avanti asks her sister... 

Aditi thinks for a while... She doesn't know why... 

Aditi: papa girl nahi hai, andar mama ready ho rahe hai 

Maan: tum log papa ke girls haina? 

Aditi: haan 

Maan: then, listen to papa 

Maan asks them to tell Annie and Tara that Dadima has called them down... 

Maan bribes them to let them have ice cream without Geet's knowledge... 

Maan then goes and meets Geet.. 

Geet: Maan, aap yahan kyun aaye ho? 

Maan: ye kaise sawaal hai Geet? Mein kitne pyar se tumse milne aaya hoon 

Maan keeps looking at her in awe... 

Geet: aaise kya dekh rahe ho? 

Maan: I can't help but fall in love with you everytime I see you Geet 

Geet: aap bhi na, abhi mohabbat karne ka waqt hai kya? Aap jao, sab aapko dhoond rahe honge 

Maan: I have got you something, a special wedding gift Geet 

Geet: what? I didn't think about it 

Geet is little worried... 

Maan: you are my biggest gift, I can't expect anything better than that 

Geet: but Maan 

Maan: sshhh wait, just close your eyes 

Geet closes her eyes... 

Maan removes her jewelry one by one.. 

Geet: Maan, aap kya kar rahe ho? Koi aajayega 

Maan: sshh chup bilkul chup 

Maan replaces with the one he has got for her... 

Geet feels shy suddenly... 

Maan: aankhen kol sakti ho Geet 

Geet opens her eyes and looks at the precious stones set shining bright on her... It looks stunning... 

Geet: Maan, it's so beautiful, isn't it? 

Maan: it's not that you look less beautiful without them, I just wanted to give you something for the wedding 

Geet: am I looking like Maan Khurana's bride? 

Maan: you always look like a beautiful angel to me, why are you bothered about today? 

Geet: because it's our wedding Maan 

Maan: you look out of the world beautiful today, are you happy now? 

Geet is now only satisfied about her looks and make up... 

Geet: now I'm happy, I don't care about anyone else 

Maan: ok, I must go now 

At the mandap... 

Geet asks Gayathri to be present near her along with her parents when they start the pehras... 

Gayathri is obviously very happy... 

Maan calls Dev to the stage... 

And Maneet get married in front of all their loved ones, including their two daughters... 

No other children get the privilege to attend their parents' wedding... 

Maneet can show their wedding album to their grandchildren and tell stories of their unique love story...
