Geet tells Maan that they should do something about Dev and Pari’s wedding…

Maan too thinks that it will only help Geet get rid of any of her guilty feelings left about betraying Gayathri’s trust…

Geet: Maan kuch socho na

Maan: par Geet, ye kissi aur ki shadi ki baat hai, hum kya kar sakthe hai?

Geet: Maaan, aaise kaise keh sakthe ho aap? Dev aur Pari paraye hai kya?

Maan: chalo, sochne do

Maan thinks for a while…

Geet: kitne dher sochoge Maan?

Maan: tum ek kaam karo, mere liye ek strong coffee banake lao

Geet gets him the coffee in a jiffy…

Maan has finally thought of a solution….

Shadi ke mamla hai toh dadi se behtar kaun sambal saktha?

Par pehle Dadi ko sare sachayi bathana padega…

Maan calls dadi….

Maan: halo Dadima, kaise hai aap? Aur sab teek haina?

Dadi: haan Maan bete, hum ne kal hi baat kiya haina, sab teek hai, aur kahiye ki kya baat hai? Geet aur Aditi teek toh haina?

Maan: ji Dadima

Dadi: toh phir kya baat hai bete?

Maan: Dadi, you are the best matchmaker

Dadi toh kush hai ki Maan aur Pari ki setting ho gayi hai…

Dadi: hum se behtar aapko kaun jaantha hai bete, hum bahut kush hai, hum abhi Annie se baat karte hai

Maan: Dadima, pehle mere puri baat toh sunlijiye

Dadi: hum ab kuch nahi sunna chahte hai, ab seedhe seedhe shadi ke baat hi karenge

Maan: woh toh teek hai, warna mein aap se kyun ye baat kartha

Dadi: iss bar hum nahi chahte ki koi gadbad ho, aap ne Pari se teek se baat kiya haina? Aur aap bhi achche se sochlo kissi bhi decision lene se pehle

Maan: baat toh sochne se kahi aage chali gayi Dadima

Dadi: kya?

Maan: jaise aapne socha, Geet hi woh ladki hai jo hamesha mere dil mein raj karthi thi, karthi hai aur karthi rahegi, aur ye aap bhi jaanthe hai ki mein kissi aur ladhki ke barein mein sochoon bhi nahi

Dadi: ye kya naya tamasha hai?

Maan: ye koi nayi baat nahi, bahut purani baat hai

Dadi: hum kuch samjhe nahi bete

Maan: dadi, mujhe meri Geet wapas mil gayi, mujhe meri zindagi wapas mil gayi

Dadi is shocked to hear that…

Dadi: aap kya keh rahe hai bete? Ye kaise ho sakta?

Maan: mein sach keh raha hoon Dadima, ab hum ek saath hai, we are back together

Dadi: how is that possible? What about the other guy? What about the child?

Maan: it’s a long story Dadi, Aditi meri beti hai, my daughter, my blood

Dadi: what do you mean?

Maan: it all happened like magic, we became one by heart, soul and body, because I knew from the beginning itself that Geet is the one, that she is my life, my future

Dadi is also feeling guilty for not making an effort to talk to the Handas and sort things out...  And also unnecessarily punishing Geet like that, she should have let Geet meet Maan then itself, it could have been a different story then... If only she knew about her grandchild then she might have changed her mind...

Maan: you know how I was badly affected by the cancellation of the wedding, because I can't handle the fact that Geet is not mine anymore, we were so happy but then everything fell apart, but something kept telling me that we are destined to be together and we made it

Maan: Pari aur Dev ki

Dadi: Woh wahi ladhka haina? Bahut pyaara hai

Maan: haan, aur Pari ki bhi bahut pasand hai

Dadi: ye kaise ho gaya?

Maan: jaise bhi hua ho, bahut achcha hi hua

Dadi: ab hum Pari ke parents se kya bathayenge beta? Hum toh aapke rishtha lekhe gaye the, ye kaise musibat hai?

Maan: haan, ek aur problem hai, Dev ke ghar mein bhi uski shadi ki tayaariyan shuru ho gayi hai, Geet ke saath, lockdown mein rukha hai

Dadi: pehle hi iss lockdown se hum bahut pareshan hai, aap Hoshiarpur mein, Vicky sasuraal mein, Annie bhi nahi aasakthi, aur hum theen yahan akhele

Maan: par dadi, issi lockdown ne hummare bhaagthe hue zindagi par ek break dala aur humme apne priorities ke barein mein sochne ka waqt diya, issiliye aaj hum bhi saath hai

Dadi: jo bhi ho, ab humme kuch samajh mein nahi aata ki kya karein

Maan: koi jaldhi nahi Dadima, aap aaram se soch ke ek upay bataye, lockdown has given us a lot of time

Dadi: hum Aditi se kab mil sakte? Aap log jaldhi wapas aana bete

Maan: ji dadi, I’m trying to get the pass

Dadi: take care of them beta, I know you deserve to be with them after so much struggles, I’m that finally you got everything you wanted, god bless you beta, aaisa hi kush rehna, hamesha

Maan: aap ke aashirwad se hi sab kuch mila hai Dadima, aap force nahi karthe toh mein shayad yahan nahi hota iss waqt, aur ye sab nahi hota

Dadi: forget the past and be happy bete

Maan: ok Dadi, shadi ke barein mein sochna

Dadi: haan

Maan has given the responsibility of the marriage to Dadi….

Geet comes…

Maan is in a good mood…

Maan takes her in his arms and starts dancing… .

Geet is happy to see him enjoy every moment…

Geet: so, what’s going on?

Maan: nothing, I am just wondering how your beauty keeps growing everyday

Geet: secrets are not to be shared Maan

Geet completes the missed kiss to Maan’s surprise…

Geet: toh aapne kya socha hai? Ab hum kya karenge?

Maan: ab koi tension nahi, Dadima haina

Geet is shocked….

Geet: you told dadi?

Maan: haan

Geet: I should have told Dadi, haina?

Maan: I don’t want to give you anymore trouble Geet, you just enjoy whatever we have got, that we have been waiting for, this is not the time to think about anything else, so, I want you to just enjoy our family time together

Geet: what did dadi say? Is she angry with me or what?

Maan: no one is angry with you, it’s not your fault, everyone is only waiting to see us happy and they are happy as long as we are happy

Geet: and Aditi?

Maan: you know what Geet? She’ll be secretly thanking God that though our marriage didn’t happen she got her wishes fulfilled on time, she is the luckiest for she got her gift delivered on time, in fact you delivered even before time, you rock Geet

Geet: achcha, chalo Aditi ko jaake tayaar karo aap, mein tab tak paper padke aathi hoon, and don’t forget my chai

Maan: anything for you, but you be ready for the payback

Geet: make the tea less strong

Maan: don’t you forget that “ mera time bhi aayega”

Geet laughs seeing him act like a child missing his candy…

Maan will make sure the day ends well for him too….
