Next morning.....

Geet is fast asleep when someone comes and kisses her forehead....

It's Maan, Geet thinks it's her dream and is like there is no harm in enjoying it as long as it is a dream....

Geet half opens her eyes and sees Maan... She thinks she is still in her dream....

She smiles to herself, pulls her quilt closer and continues to sleep as she doesn't want her beautiful dream to end so soon.....

Maan takes out her quilt and wants her to wake....

They have got this precious time to themselves till Aditi wakes....

Maan: Good morning Geet

Geet then realises that it's Maan only standing there and not her dream....

Geet: mujhe sona hai

Maan: utjao Geet, humme jog pe jaana haina? mein kab se tera intezaar kar raha tha, jaldhi utto Geet

Maan pulls her legs and gets her out of the bed....

Geet: subhe subhe aapko kya hogaya?

Maan: Aditi ke saath sokke, uske saath late utne ki aadat ho gayi hai tumme

Geet: aap thode der asaram se sone bhi nahi denge kya?

Maan: aaise kaathe peethe soothe rahogi toh aur moti ho jaoge Geet

Geet: aap mere peeche kyun pade ho?

Maan: yahan hum dono hi hai, warna mein akhele baitke bore ho jaoonga Geet

Geet: teek hai, jao mein fresh hokar aati hoon

Geet gets ready and goes out.....

Maan has made her tea....

Maan: chai?

Geet takes the cup from him and drinks it....

Maan then gets her shoes...

Geet: do din ke liye shoes ki kya zaroorat hai?

Maan: exercise karthe hai toh proper karna chahiye Geet, warna there is no point in doing it the wrong way

Geet puts on her shoes and hopes Aditi wakes up early and saves her...

They start jogging around the farm...

Geet is happy to be among the fields after a long time....

She enjoys the early morning scent of fresh air with the earthy touch....

It's good to be back in Hoshiarpur..

She is reminded of her childhood when she went to the fields with Ranno....

Ranno would be busy milking the cows while Geet will happily plucking the marigold and eating the chikoos and guavas straight from the trees...

Geet looks for any fruit trees.... There is one Mango tree nearby....

Geet looks at it fondly remembering the days when her ultimate desire was the first fruit from the tree she grew by planting a sapling....

Her mother got it from a neighbour...

Geet waited for years until one day the tree bore a fruit...

How she wishes that she never grew old and remained the same Geet who was always happy with the tiny joys of life....

As we grow up our desires grow faster than us....

Maan: Geet, kahan kho gayi ho?

Geet tells him her story of how she used to play in the fields without any worries....

Maan: ur so lucky Geet

Geet: you would have had better life, you grew up in Canada

Maan: aaise nahi hotha Geet, hum kahan bhi ho humnara kismat achcha hona chahiye

Geet: everyone is fond of their childhood, you are not?

Maan: I grew up with my maa, papa rarely visited us, he was busy making money, it was for is but still

Maan pauses as he thinks about his childhood....

Geet: did you miss your papa?

Maan: I never did, but maa missed him so much, I was happy with my maa, she was my mother father everything, a mother can easily fill a father's place but not the other way

Geet is surprised to see Maan open up.... He didn't have the opportunity earlier....

Geet had her own problems in the past, Maan actually wanted to live life again only after he met Geet... Maan was in a happy space whenever he was with her....

Geet: I'm also attached more to maa

Maan: I know you miss her a lot, no matter how old you are, you always miss your mother

Geet: aap bhi miss karthe honge?

Maan: kabhi kabhi, I thought I lost my life when I lost her, I was only 14 then, I lost interest in everything, I lost the desire to live, that's my weakness Geet, it always happens with me, Iife has taken away everyone I love, including you Geet

Maan is overwhelmed with emotion, he controls himself.....

Maan: hummare taqdeer hi kuch ajeeb hai Geet, jab tum mere paas aana chathi thi tab mein tumse bhaag raha tha, ab jab mein tummare paas aana chahtha tum mujse bhaagne ki koshish kar rahi hai

Geet remains silent.... 

Maan: hummare taqdeer shayad hummare haath mein nahi tha, lekhin Aditi ki taqdeer hummare haath mein hai Geet, hum chahte toh usko badal sakte, she deserves to be with her mother and father

Maan looks at Geet with determination....

Maan: but this time I'll not lose, I'll get what I deserve

Geet feels bad for Maan.... 

Maan doesn't want to ruin such a lovely morning....

Maan: Geet, tumme ye Mango khana haina?

Geet: woh.....nahi....

Geet is still thinking about Maan's pain.... He always keeps his pain within, unlike Geet who shows it through her anger.....

Maan tries to jump and reach the fruit, but it's out of his reach....

Maan suddenly lifts Geet and Geet is taken by surprise.... She is confused.....

She looks at Maan....

Maan: Geet, pluck the mango

Maan takes her near the mango as much as possible.... But Geet has to strech her hands na?

Geet keeps staring Maan.....

Maan: Geet, tum bahut bhari ho, thoda jaldhi karo toh achcha hoga

Geet plucks the fruit and Maan is still holding her....

Geet: Maan

Maan doesn't want to let her go....

Geet: Maan, mujhe neeche utharo

Maan let's her down....

Geet takes a bite and it's so good...

Maan: achcha haina?

Even before Geet could answer Maan catches hold of her hand and takes a bite himself.....

Maan: it's sweet but little sour, just like you, but I love it

Maan pulls her hand closer and takes another bite looking at her juicy lips intently....

Geet tries to hide her feelings but she knows it's not easy to hide it from Maan....

Geet: chalo, Aditi uth jayegi

Geet starts to walk faster....

Maan follows her....

Maan: Geet, you can't keep running away from me always, MSK se bachna itna aasaan nahi hai Geet
