Next day.... Khanna office....

There's news of something big happening is making rounds...

the buzz is that Dev is throwing a lavish party to someone, but there is no clue about that special person... maybe it's a client, maybe some of his friends from Canada...

maybe they have hit a big deal....

another mystery is the absence of Geet, usually it's Geet who spearheads the organization of such parties.... this time Dev himself has passed the orders that it's a day off for the entire staff from official work and they have to arrange this party in the evening....

if it's Geet it would be like a perfect blueprint for the sequence of the work to be done with time limits.... they would just follow it and everything will fall in place on it's own...

now they have just received a verbal message from Dev that it should be the best ever party in the history of Khanna constructions...

everyone is running around bumping into one another like headless chickens and it's chaos at Khanna office...

Geet offered to help but Dev requested her to stay home and groom herself to get that perfect look for the occasion...

Geet too felt that it's better for her to stay alone at home for she needs some time to get her mood ready, or at least she could practice to put up a happy face so that no one(specially Maan) doesn't have any suspicion...

she should perfect this act one last time to put an end to her past once for all...

Maan has overslept since he was up till the wee hours of the night... strangely he got to sleep tight after a very long time.... maybe the hope that his past is not totally lost and there seems to be a new beginning, a new connection, something which Geet is desperately trying to hide from him  but failed miserably last night helped him to sleep tight.....

Maan looks at the time and finds a 7 missed calls from Dev.....

It looks like that little bit of happiness that he found is not going to last for long...

An unknown fear grips him, something Maan has never felt in his life before....

the first thing that comes to his mind is Aditi, is everything alright with her, why would Dev call him so early and that too so many times....

then he thinks about Geet, she didn't look good either, who else can understand Geet and read her mind better than Maan?

Maan calls Dev, first ring ends, one more and Maan's patience is lost, he panics and suddenly feels helpless.... the mighty MSK feels like everything is out of his control now...

Maan: just tpick up the damn phone Dev

Dev has just clicked the answer butten and there goes Maan...

Maan: Dev, Kya baat hai? kya hua?

Dev: Maaan, pehle Good morning toh wish karo

Dev is in a very happy mood, that brings Maan's BP down a little...

Maan: Good morning Dev

Dev: it's indeed a very good morning Maan

Maan just got back his lost breadth...

Maan: I'm so happy to hear that Dev

Maan is literally relieved and so happy that everything is fine ....

Dev: I knew it Maan, i knew you would also be equally happy

Maan: what's the good news Dev? bataoge toh meri kushi dukhni ho jayegi

Dev: oh no Maan, that's a surprise, I just need your help

Maan: my help?  any new project?

Dev: I think I called the wrong person, why don't you come out of projects and meetings for a change, no business talk for the next 24 hour

Maan: if you say so

Dev: it's this party in the evening, I don't know where to start and what to do

Maan: Geet haina? tum kyun fikar kar rahe ho? hamesha ki tarah tum sirf party ke dress ki chintha karo, bakhi sab Geet samballegi

Dev: that's the problem Maan, I've challenged Geet that I'll make this party a grand success and Geet's parties would be no match for this one party

Maan: that's too much of an ask Dev

Dev: I know I know, but I challenged with the only hope that you would take care of everything

Maan: mein hi kyun?

Dev: Geet and you have worked along for KC's launch party haina? you must have all the details

Maan: Oh yes, don't worry we will rock this one together

Maan loves challenges and if it's opposite his Geet then it's double the fun, haina?

Dev: OK, I'll be there in an hour, be ready

Maan gets charged up for he is happy that he got to confront Geet in the party...

Maan can't wait to meet Geet and know about the truth.... he wants to know the whole story.... Geet is mad about him for leaving then, now when he is back Geet should only be happy, haina? Maan knows that Dev is not a matter at all for Dev is mature enough to understand the situation.... the only thing that bothers Maan is Geet's stupid attitude.... childish ego that stops her to accept the truth, the truth about their love, their life, their family...

Maan would use this opportunity to make Geet realize her mistake and see the truth... 

while Maan is thinking in this line Geet has other plans....

poor Maan, always keeps planning ahead while life throws a lots of twists and turns in that plan....

little does Maan know that it's going to be the biggest surprise of his life after meeeitng Geet again....
