Very long update but it's necessary fot you to know Geet's character...thought it's better to warn you guys...

Maan becomes suspicious and keeps asking them about the truth while they are not so happy in his inquiry...

Maan is worried that the stupid family might have got her married to some stranger in a hurry...

 Luckily for Maan Darji confirmed that nothing like that happened as Geet is not in a condition to get married...

Maan is again worried about Geet...

Maan: what happened to Geet? did she faint again? Where is she? Is she in the hoapital?

Darji: nahi nahi, aaisa kuch nahi hai, Geet is getting better day by day

But Darji doesn't seem to be really happy while saying that and he is still a worried man...

Maan: this is not true, you are hiding something , tell me the truth, I'm not a stranger and I know Geet very well, I'm also worried about her like you

Darji: Geet is fine, nothing to worry, she is just feeling a little tired and exhausted

Maan: what? what's wrong with Geet now? Has she become physically weak?

Maan can't wait to see Geet, he just wants to make sure that she is in gud shape...hopefully Geet wouldn't have spoiled her health...

 Darji: kuch nahi beta, she is fine, it's just that she felt suffocating staying inside the house itself all these days and hence she wanted to go to Amristar and see the Guru

Maan is little relieved that she is not being admitted in a hospital as he feared...

What have they done to his Geet then?

His Geet? yeah, Maan has realized that Geet is his love, she is Maan ki Geet, haina?

Better it's not too late for Maan to get his Geet back...

Maan wants to know the whole story in order to understand Geet's problem and to help her...

He asks Darji what happened to Geet...darji starts to tell the story from the beginning...

Darji's family is the head of Hoshiarpur and even Maan's grandpa Khuranaji initially worked for them before Khuranaji decided that it's better to go out and earn...

Geet is the first daughter in their family after generations...

Being a male dominated family they are still in the old culture of treating their women as their priceless possession and guarding their respect as the family repution...

Since Geet is believed to have broken the curse in their family and has entered as Devi lakhsmi bringing back all their lcuk and fortunes she is hailed as their goddess and pampered like a princess...

Geet is protected by her cousin Brij wherever she went and she hated that...she wanted to roam freely like the other girls and she always complained to her mother about this lack of freedom...

Her mother consoled her that as she grows big she'll get all the freedom she wishes for a Rajkumar will come and make her his rani and take her to his kingdom where she will rule like a queen...

Geet always kept looking for her Rajkumar who would also be her savior rescuing her from the clutches of her family...

She was shrewd and always kept questioning the rituals that kurb the rights of the girl child...

She wanted the same freedom as her brothers...for that she was often frightened with scary stories of evil ravans waiting to abduct beautiful princess like her...

Then she started to understand that our's is a male dominated society where women's safety is always a question...she read about a few assaults on women and her anger grew more and she was desperate to find a solution for all this...

She thought education can help the girls to some extent...but that too didn't ensure the girl's safety for the men were still illiterates and they continued bullying women...

That's when she met her Maan who respected women and also treated them equal, that means literally equal, his notion of women helping themselves instead of depending on men impressed Geet a lot and she also started to look for ways to safeguard her integrity instead of seeking protection all the time...

She then packed chilly powder, pepper spray and also grew her nails for her own defence...

That's how she started liking Maan...

The only mystery is how and where she met Maan...there is no doubt that Maan is Khrish for all herstories he has heard about Khrish happened in his life and all the characteristics of Khrish are also same as Maan's...

Maan further inquired about Geet from the neighbours and this is what he got to know...

Geet was actually a very lovable and naughty girl...she is not like the others in the handa house, she is different and she treated everyone equal irrespective of their social status...

She made friends in all the levels, infact she found the poor more loyal, more loving and caring than the people with property who only cared for their wealth and nothing else...

Her friends included the lesser fortunate and the rich evenly...

This is what worried her family when they found about Khrish...they wanted Khrish to be of equal status and from their own community...Brij was very particular about thar...that's why he was after Maan...

All these days her family had faith in her that she is capable of making her own choices for she was such a smart kid not like some love struck silly girl who can't think beyond the teenage crushes...

But Geet has got a strong head and she knows what she is doing...

She doesn't follow someone blindly but her only problem is her emotional and sensitive nature...

She is very sensitive with any issues related to women and she is one of those gilrs who is always ready to fight for their rights...

At times she takes things very seriously and gets involved so much that she acts hysteric which scares her friends and family...

And about this Khirsh matter, she was a normal timid teenager who was little scared of going out to a metro city like Mumbai...but her belief that only higher education could give girls the liberty and independence they deserve made her persue graduation in Delhi...

She was brought up in a very protective environment and the whle family incluing her cousin Brij pampered her with all the comforts and luxury she would wish for...

She never knew about any worries that actually all the other friends faced for she was never refused anything that she demanded for all her wishes were simple and so her family happily fulfilled her humble dreams...

Only when she wanted to go to Delhi for her higher studies did Darji refused to grant her wish...

But she kept persuading him and made promises to keep up the family traditions did she get their permission...

All was well until she came across this Khrish one day...

After that Geet's life changed drastically and she began living her dreams all day...

First they thought it's some crush and she'll get over this as she matures...but later it turned about to be an addiction and they could never find any Khrish in her college or her friends...

Even her bestie at college Annie didn't know much about Khrish except that Geet has fallen in love with that Khrish and she is dating him...

Geet promised to introduce Maan to Annie but soon Maan finished his MBA and left to his home in Mumbai...then Geet had been chatting with him for a while but when she tried to contact him he didn't want to talk with her and he also changed his mobile number...

From then Geet was upset for a few days and then she almost turned mad thinking about Maan 24*7...

Annie thought that it's getting out of control and then only she informed about the madness to Geet's family...

Then Maninder came to take Geet home and they thought it's better to get her married off soon so that she'll forget this madness and focus on her own family...

They thought she doesn't need a degree anyhow as she is only a girl and her duties are only towards her sasuraal, husband and kids...

But Geet refused to come home without finishing her course...she was stubborn that she'll not leave Delhi until she gave her last exam...

So she was given permission to stay in the hostel with the condition that she didn't step out of the hostel except for attending classes...

Annie was given the responsibility to take care of Geet but Annie felt sorry for Geet who missed her Khrish very badly...

But Geet is not a fool to spoil her life for her love, she was confident that she'll get back her Khrish after she finished her studies and she concentrated in her studies...

She graduated with distinction to her family's astonishment and fulfilled her wish to get her degree...

The family thought that she would slowly forget that Khrish eventually if she is kept away from him and that in the mean time they can arrange her marriage with some NRI guy...

After their final exams are over Geet is not very happy to retrun home...

Annie knew why, Geet had not found her Khrish yet, she can't search and find him if she goes home...

They will never let her out of the house...

Geet went back to Hoshiapur and went from there to Mumbai when she got a chance saying that she had gone to meet her friend Pinky...but then she was called back after a week when Brij came and took her as her family didn't like her staying away from home...

Geet then decided that it's time for her to go back to her Khrish and thus she left to Mumbai without telling anyone...As she had been going in search of Khrish often but never had met him made her family to think that Khrish might not be a problem for they never took him seriously, it's always Geet who has been taiking about Khrish and trying to contact him and Khrish didn't even try to contact her once and that only made everyone doubt that Khrish might be her imagination...

They took her to a phyciatrist who confirmed the fact that Geet is not lucid and is not capable of thinking rationally...she has lost her power to think and judge what's real and what's imaginary...she is living in her illusions...

Her actions proved that she is actually finding it difficult to switch between real and reel worlds...she is confused that her reel world is the real one and the people around her are trying to separate her from her love Khrish, as they don't like Khrish...

B'coz everyone suggested that Khrish is some fake person Geet often got angry and she her inability to prove that Khrish is real added to her frustations until she was exhausted and finally fainted...

This became a habit for Geet and so her family started to guard her and tried to keep her locked up inside their house itself for the fear of being branded "Pagal" by the society...

At times she would start talking to her Khrish whenever she was alone and this scared her family...

Being an over protective child Geet is not used to worries and failure...

Whatever she wished for she got except for this Khrish who kept eluding her...

She was dejected when he stopped chatting with her and didn't want to talk to her...

She couldn't digest the fact that her Khrish disowned her love and so she started living in her dreams where she continued her love life with her Khrish...

This further worried her Doctors who thought her condition has worsened and she has lost her sanity and lost connections with reality...

That's when Darji wanted to quickly marry her off to some distant land so that she won't remember what happened in India...

Geet eloped once again...and this time she is not going to get caught as usual...

That's how she landed in Mumbai and she was actually third time lucky for she met her Maan this time...but she was overwhelmed seeing Maan after such a long time and in her excitement she fainted for her mind was so fragile...

Everytime she saw him in person she became emotional as she didn't know how he would react...

She was still afraid that he will reject her love...but she was confident that he'll understand her love oneday and accept her love...

She believed that he'll someday remember the days they spent together in Delhi, the days that turned her into this "Maan Deewani", the days that changed the path of their lives, their path united in those days and they wished to continue their journey together...

Geet literally became mad in those days only...Geet sach mein "pyar mein pagal ho gayi thi" in those days...

The only missing link in the whole story is that there was no Geet at all in all these scenes, there was no Geet for this is not Geet's life but this is Maan's life...

All this time everyone thought that Maan is the one who is missing from Geet's life but the truth is that Geet is only missing in the whole Khrish story for Khrish's story is just Maan's story...

Each and every incident from Angel's accident to the college fest to the Manali camping occurred in Maan's life and not Geet's life...

Geet somehow got to know Maan's story but no one knows how she knew it, not even Annie...

Maan is also clueless to how Geet knows his past life so well as if she had been with him all along his past as everyone believes...they think that Maan has lost his memory and forgot Geet...

Only Maan knows that Geet was not a part of his past ever, until he met her in Mumbai...

Maan might be wrong, for Geet had met him in the past, that too in Mumbai, but how?
