                      Part - 19

After Geet joined college she is busy with her work and she had to work harder to match the city girls...

Maan is relieved that KM has returned to it's peaceful silence...

Geet has no time to fight with Maan, she rarely comes face to face with him and then too Maan avoids making eye contacts...Geet also stops interfering...

From then onwards Maan stops interacting with Geet and ignores her completely...

Many times he gets into his shell like this...

More often after Vicky's death...

Maan has become immune to love and care after Vicky left him...

Maan has decided that he would never let anyone enter his life thereafter for the fear that they will also leave him alone in the end...

Actually Maan yearns for love as much as he fears it...

Geet is the only person who has succeeded in entering his rock strong heart with her innocence and courage...

But Maan is not ready to take risk again...

So he started avoiding Geet and keeps away from her...

Though Maan tries hard to igore Geet, she has made her presence felt everywhere she goes...

She has brought KM alive after so many years with her non stop bak bak and naughty pranks on the poor servants...she keeps doing this to make dadi happy and forget her worries about Maan being so unhappy and alone...

Dadi feels much younger nowadays...

Maan is surprised to see Dadi watching movies with Geet...

Jab se Geet aayi hai, issne toh ghar ko hi ek mini theatre banakke rakha hai...

Aajkal Dadima bhi usske saath TV dekhthe hi dinner karthe, what the heck?

How could Dadi forget the discipline that she taught Maan?

Even Dadi realizes that she had missed the little joys of life in these few years and also failed to help Maan come out of his shell thru these little joys that she could have shared with him...

How could Dadi expect Maan to move on and return to normal life when Dadi herself is struck in the past ?

Geet's arrival has changed Dadi and she is sure that Maan too will change...

Haan MSK ko badal na hi padega, apne Geet ke liye toh sahi...

Maan can't walk around with his eyes closed always, he had to come across Geet everyday...it's tough but Maan tries his best to ignore her but fails terribly...

Maan observes everything from a distance for the fear of being invaded by Geet's vibrant evergy...

Where does she get all the courage and strength to overcome her equally unfortunate fate...

Maybe Dadi has given her hope...or is it her nature to resist all odds and stand tall at trying times...

Maan should learn a lot from her, look at Geet, spreading happiness around while Maan had always added to Dadi's worries instead of making her happy...

Maan had to accept one thing, Dadi is happy after Geet came to KM...

Maan has never seen Dadi so relieved and happy since his bro's sad demise...

Maan had to tolerate Geet at least for Dadi's sake...

But he is determined not to let her presence affect him in anyway...afterall he is the MSK, haina?

He keeps his doors shut and stays away from her, he turns away even when he comes across Geet accidentally, but his attitude irritates Geet more...

Geet ko Maan ka yun muh modke jaana pasand hi nahi hai...

Geet too knows that this marriage isn't valid and that she has no rghts whatsoever in this house...

she doesn't expect Maan to treat her as the better half...and she has no expectations of that kind...

still his silence troubles her and his neglect hurts her a lot...

Maan Geet se jitna dhoor jaatha Geet Maan ko utna hi miss karthi...

At times when they had to face each other and when their eyes meet without their knowledge, Geet tries to read Maan's mind thru his eyes...but after all her efforts to know him better she ends up even more confused...

Maan always looks at her with anger, but Geet had not missed to see thru his anger...

She feels that he is trying to hide something behind that feary looks...maybe he is trying to hide his grief, his loneliness, his fears and his worries...

Maan shayad apne dukh ko chupane ki koshish kar raha hai...lekhin Maan babu dukh toh patne se hi kam hothi hai...aaise apne andar hi andar rakhkke jeloge toh dukh badthe jayega...

Taji's surprise visit...

Teji comes to Delhi to see Geet...

He went to Munshiji's home and Munshiji takes him to KM saying that Geet lives with Maan and not with them...

Teji gets very angry as he thinks that Maan has cheated him...

Munshiji leaves after introducing Teji to dadi...

Dadi welcomes Teji with love he's Geet's brother, haina?

And Geet had told Dadi that Teji is the one who wanted Geet to pursue her studies in Delhi...

Dadi has been waiting to see Teji as she thinsk that Teji is her savior in her Maneet milan mission...

Teji respects Dadi and he waits for Maan...                                            

He controls his anger after the warm welcome he received from Dadi...

Teji: Dadi Geet yahan rehthi hai?

Teji still couldn't believe it...

Dadi: haan, aap aayiye, pehle hummare saath nastha kijiye, Geet bhi aathi hi hogi

Teji hesitates...he just wants to see his little sister...

And how is she coping with all this nonsense?

Teji knows though Geet is very innocent she is not timid, she is rebellious and she doesn't bow to unfair pressures...

She will never accept to come here unless Teji insisted...

But why didn't she protest...Teji knows Geet wouldn't stay at a place even for a day if she doesn't like it...

She never stays even at Hoshiarpur with her father...

She always returns home with Rajjo...

Teji waits for Geet...he has to meet her and know the truth...

As he keeps looking for Geet Maan comes down the stairs...

He is happy to see Teji and there is no sign of any fear or guilt in his face...

Teji wonders how he is so cool facing Teji after cheating him like this?

Maan smiles at Teji...

Teji keeps looking behing Maan for he expects Geet to follow him...pathni toh pati ko follow karthe haina?

But he is worried not to find Geet...

His face turns red with anger...issne mere behen ko kya kardiya?

Dadi knows Teji's anticipations...

Dadi: puthar aap kathe kyun nahi?

Maan also knows that Teji is waiting for Geet...

Maan: Dadi, aapne Geet ko nahi bhulaya?

Teji is surprised...if Geet didn't get the information then how did Maan come? They must have been together only?

Dadi: humne chandu ko bheja hai, Geet aathe hi honge

Maan: Dadi mujhe ek urgent meeting hai, mein chaltha hoon, Taji, let's meet later

Teji wanted to stop Maan and pull his shirt for acting smart...

But then Geet comes running...

Teji wnders where is she coming from...from the backyard...

Maybe she was in the garden...

Maan is least bothered and he just leaves...

Geet comes and hugs Teji...

Geet: Veerji aap kab aaye? Maa papaji nanadini lucky veerji mamaji sab kaise hai?

Geet starts talking non stop...

Dadi: hare Geet bete, pehle aap apne veerji ko khane dijiye, phir donno baat kar sakthe

Geet joins Teji and Teji is relieved to see Geet so happy...

She is feeling at home, just as she used to be in Amristar...

Teji thinks he can ask Geet later about his doubts...

Dadi leaves them alone...

Geet takes Teji to the OH...

Geet: veerji ye mera kamra hai

Teji finds Geet staying alone in that room and not with Maan at KM...

Teji: tumme yahan akhele rehne se darn ahi lagthi Geet?

He didn't want to ask her why she didn't go to Munshiji's home...

He doesn't feel any difference...as far as his little sister is happy and secure what does an elder brother want?

Geet: mein akhele kahan hoon? Dadi haina mere saath, aur aap ne dekha nahi? yahan kitne sare log kaam karthe

She didn't count Maan as a member of this house...

For her he is invisible...how can she include MSK as a part of the family as he lives far far away in his own world...

Teji is happy that she didn't take Maan's name...that's a protective brother...

Geet takes him to the guest room next to her room...

Geet: aap yahan reh sakthe

Teji is convinced that his sister is happy and is being taken care of very well by dadima, she didn't even bother to ask dadi's permission to let Teji stay at the OH...

She took her rights straightaway...even if she was khurana Bahu she wouldn't have enjoyed so much rights and freedom...

Finally Geet is lucky to get this opportunity...

Her future is secured with her degree and Teji is sure that now no one can dare to mess with her life again...not even Mohinder...

Teji says he just came to see Geet and he is happy that Geet has settled down without any trouble...

He leaves before Maan comes back as he there was no need for any explanations from Maan...

Dadi is also relieved that Teji didn't make it an issue and saved dadi from another act...

And even dadi was not ready with the script as Teji just entered without prior notice...

Luckily for Dadi Teji is convinced b'coz Geet didn't stay with them in the same place...

Maan had well planned ahead to keep Geet in the OH...

For the first time dadi felt there is some advantage with Geet's OH stay...

Life moves as usual with Maan and Geet busy in their own works and not showing any interest in each other...only Dadi is worried and she keeps thinking about her next move...

No matter how hard she tries to bring their attention on each other by talking about the other they seem to just behave as if they have not listened to anything...
