Geet is excited to hear him say it...

Geet closes her eyes and sharpens her ears so that she won't miss those beautiful words from him for the first time...

Maan: tum bahut pyaari ho

What? Geet is disappointed...Geet feels like banging her head on the wall...

She wanted to hear something else...

" Geet, tum bahut sundar ho, aur mein tumse bahut pyaar kartha hoon Geet, I love you Geet"

Maan ko aaise kuch kehna chahiye tha, haina babaji?

Mein kya koi kudhiya hoon? Pyaari khudiya?

Mein toh ek sundar 18 saal ki ladhki hoon, aur inko abhi bhi mein koi bachi lagthi hoon, haina?

Geet: aapko yahi kehna tha?

Maan is surprised...

Maan: nahi toh

Geet: phir, yahan kyun aaye ho?

Maan: tum mujhe galat samaj rahi ho Geet

Geet: kya? Mein galat samaj rahi hoon? Hare babaji? Ab inko kya karien?

Maan: tum meri fikar mat karo, aur bathao, tumne apne exams kaise kiya?

Geet: ab inko meri exams ki padhi?

Maan: Geet, mein kuch pooch raha hoon

Geet: bahut achche kiya hai, aur abhi sirf ek aur paper bakhi hai, mere exams katam hothe hi mujhe koi kaam dhoondhna padega, aap mere liye koi ahchca kaam dilwa sakthe ho kya?

Geet turns to this boring topic as Maan is only interested in that...

Maan: very good, I'll think about it

Geet: ho gaya? Gud night

Geet tries to cover herself and sleep...

Maan tries to stop her...

And between their push and pull Maan falls over Geet...

And they freeze for a moment...

Maan keeps staring her for a while...

Geet anticipates something...

Maan leaves her saying...abhi nahi

Maan: Geet, mein tumme kuch bathane aaya tha aur tumme dekhthe hi sab kuch bhool jaatha hoon

Geet: kya?

Maan: aao mere saath

Maan takes her to his room...and he opens his cupboard and takes out an album...

It's his little sister's b'day album...

They are at their village home...

It looks very elegant and beautiful...

Typical Indian farmhouse with serene surroundings and simple but colorful interiors...

And Geet immediately recognizes Maan...

Geet: ye toh aap hi haina?

Maan: haan

Geet: ye dadima hai

Maan: tumme kaise patha?

Geet: meinne unki tasveer dekha haina?

Geet shows the one on the table...

Maan: aur ye meri choti behen hai, ye maa aur ye papa, aur ye dekho Vicky

Geet looks at Maan and tears fill his eyes looking at those pictures...

Geet: aap ro rahe ho?

Maan hides his tears...

Geet: kya hua?

Maan: ye sab ab mere saath nahi hai Geet

Geet: par ab toh mein hoona aapke saath

She goes and hugs Maan...

Maan feels better now...

He hugs her back...

           Maan: haan Geet, ab toh mein akhela nahi hoon

Geet: aur mein bhi ab akheli nahi hoon, haina auntyji?

Geet remembers her aunty and uncle...

Maan: Geet, tum bahut achchi ho

Geet: bas, achchi hoon?

Geet looks at herself in the mirror...

Maan: aur bahut samjhdar ho

Geet: aur?

Maan: aur kya?

Geet: koi ek ladhki ko aaise tareef karthe hai kya?

Maan: phir kaise karthe? Tum hi bathao

Geet: woh tum bahut koobsurat ho, tummra chehra, chandini ka chand hai

Maan smiles...

Maan: tumme aaise tareef ki kya zaroorat hai Geet?

Geet: toh mein sundar nahi hoon?

Geet is disappointed...

Maan: tum toh kuch zyada hi sundar ho Geet, issiliye toh mein tumse itna dhoor rehtha hoon

Geet: kyun?

Maan: kyunki

Maan gets closer and pulls her into his embrace...

Maan: jab tum paas hothi haina? Kuch kuch hotha hai Geet

            Geet: kya?

Geet steps back...and runs away...

Maan: hare, Geet, rukh jao

Maan runs after her...

Geet goes to her room and closes the door...

Maan: Geet, darwaza kholo

Geet: nahi

Maan: Geeet

Geet: aap chale jao

Maan: nahi jaaoonga

Geet: mujhe sona hai

Maan: par mujhe neendh kaise aayegi?

Geet: woh aapki problem hai

Maan: meri problem hai?

Geet: haan, gud night

Maan: gud night Geet

Maan keeps standing at the door and Geet too stays close to the door...

Geet: aap jaoona

Maan: tumme kaise patha ki mein yahi hoon?

Geet: patha hai

Maan: toh darwaza kyun nahi kholthi?

Geet opens the door...

Geet: ab kya hai?

Geet pretends to be angry...

Maan: kuch nahi

Geet: toh, jao, sojao

Maan kisses her gud night and leaves...

Geet likes it very much...

Next day Geet goes back to the hostel...

Geet thinks about Maan and his family...

She realizes that Maan too needs help...

Just as Maan had helped her get out of her mess she has to do something to make him happy...

She knows that Maan needs love and a happy family...

And to start a family we need atleast two people, we have Geet and Maan...

But they are still like well known starngers...

Geet has no idea how to get closer to his heart...

How to assure him that she is there for him...

She doesn't mean anything physical, that she knows very well that Maan is into her long before... And that will happen by itself...

Maan is slowly but steadily progressing anyways...

But the problem is to make him feel that he has got someone to share not only his love but also his worries...

He has made the first step forward by letting her peep into his lonely world...where everyone close to his heart and soul just remain in his memories...

Geet is frustrated that she couldn't do anything...

It's not her fault, she is still young and immature, not even strong enough to face her problems, for that too she needed Maan, now how would she help him...

And she has got only two more days to think...

She had to come up with an idea soon, for then she will have to start her life afresh...

She knows that Maan is desperate to have her home, start their life together but he is hesitant b'coz for him she is still that innocent girl who accepted him b'coz of her terrible background and she had no other option than to come with him...

Geet decides that she needs more time to accomplish her mission so she opts to go for a short tour with her friends...

Why not? This maybe the last chance for her to be with her friends...and everyone is so excited about this tour...

The only one who is not so happy with this plan is Maan...

Maan has been planning a surprise for Geet...

He is thinking of moving into her room itself...

It's not fair for them to stay in two rooms in the same house after they have vowed to be partners for life...haina?

Geet wouldn't mind sharing her room...

But maybe she would demand Maan's room if he moves to her room...anything is possible...she is so possessive about her house...and also very much like Maan, ziddi...

Whatever, Maan has decided that it's time for him to break his bahelor's vow and become a family man...with atleast 3 or 4 kids...

A couple of children like him and a couple like Geet, and maybe if Geet wants she can have a few more...he wants a very big family...

He wants to make her his wife in everyway, he wants to have her totally for himself...he wants to take their relationship to the next level...he is fed up of being lonely and single...

How could he not mingle with such a beautiful wife at home...

Geet is so near yet so far...he is just waiting for her studies to complete...

This separation is too hard for him...he is not ready to wait any longer...
