Rain Or Books ?

Just a normal day, ya just a normal one where it rains, where you meet someone , where it all changes.

It was raining outside.  

Rajveer - Riddhima shut the door yaar. I hate rains. 

Riddhima - But I love rains. 

Rajveer - Riddhima (this time he says a little louder) 

Riddhima shuts the window. 

Rajveer - Thank you samjhne ke liye. 

Riddhima - Mai toh har baar samjh jati hu, kisi din tum bhi samjho. 

Rajveer - Riddhima , apne bollywood wali crap movies ke dialogues se bahar aao.

Riddhima - Hmm...koshish karugi. 

Khair mujhe library jana hai. Kuch books borrow krni hai. Mai jau? 

Rajveer - Baarish band ho jaye toh chale jana. 

Riddhima - Okay. (She smiles)

Villete Library 

Armaan - Itni baarish ho rahi hai , aisa karta hu yahi padh leta hu. 

Armaan has recently joined the membership of Villete library. He was reading some book on philosophy. He loved philosophy as it had no bounds. He could think beyond something. 

Rains stops but he continue reading. 

Riddhima takes her bag and reaches the Villete Library. She goes and starts searching for the books she wanted to read. Riddhima loved reading about history. It always used to interest her.

Riddhima takes some books with her and sit just next to Armaan. 

Armaan was lost in his own world. 

Riddhima was confused with 2 books to take with her. She cant carry the entire library with her. 

She rapidly starts turning the pages.

Armaan gets the disturbed. Armaan looks at her. Her green almond eyes searching for something made him smile a little. 

Armaan - Help? 

Riddhima looks at him. 

Riddhima - No. 

Armaan - Jab koi hath badhaye toh thaam lena chahiye. 

Riddhima - Excuse me! 

Armaan - wait pehle introduction krle. Hey I am Armaan.

Riddhima - Riddhima. 

Armaan - So what do you exactly want to read? Pichle 15 min se dekh rha kabhi ye book wo book. 

Riddhima - ummm sorry...wo actually sirf 2 hi books le jaaa skti hu. 

Armaan - Jo best h wo jao. 

(He takes the pile from her hand and selects two) 

Armaan - So , tumhe history fiction mei interest hai (makes an awkward face) 

Riddhima - Nahi ho skta 

Armaan - Kisi ka past padhkr kya maza ? 💁‍♂️

Riddhima - Its not that. Basically mai apne school time se hi history fiction mei interest hai so. Old habits die hard. 

Armaan - Oh like that. At the end its all your choice.  Tumne pucha nahi but phir bhi I love reading Philosophy. 

(Suddenly an old man gave them an angry glance as they were talking in the library) 

Riddhima - Ummm...sorry. 

She takes her books and leave the library.
