Chapter - 24

The next day..

Roli was lazily tossing on her bed as she scrolled on to her social media account. At that time sid entered into the room holding his laptop. 

Upon seeing him, roli quickly sat up on bed as she shouted at him "can't you knock the door while entering into someone's room, especially a girl's room". 

"I'm not seeing any girl here" sid said nonchalantly as he looked around as if searching for something. 

"Then what I'm?" Roli had thrown a pillow at him for his comment, which he caught in time as he replied "you're no one". 

"What are you doing in my room?" Roli asked.

"This is my house and I can go into whichever room I want" sid replied arrogantly, making her pissed off. 

"Then you be here, I'm going out" roli got up from bed but pulled back by sid. 

"You're not going anywhere. Just sit here" sid made her to sit beside him on the bed as he continued "..I'm bored. Let's watch a movie". 

"I'm no one, right? You go and watch with your friends" roli replied as she sat next to him angrily. 

"They're all went on vacation. That's why I'm here without any other option. Or else do you really think I'd be interested in watching movie with you?" Sid said as he turned on his laptop. 

Now roli was truly pissed off. "I'm never gonna talk to you" roli again tried to go but to no avail. 

"You've to watch it with me" sid tightly held on to her hand. 

"I'll not. Let me go, you kadoos bharadwaj" roli kept on trying to slide out of his hold. 

"Don't worry. There won't be any that kind of scenes" sid looked at her with a smirk. Quickly roli got reminded of the movie they watched few days back. She immediately fell silent thinking about it. 

"Lost in imagination" sid scoffed.

"Shut up" roli slapped on his shoulder. 

"You shut up and watch the movie" sid turned to his laptop. He started a movie and placed the laptop on bed. 

Willingly or unwillingly roli sat beside him quietly. Until the title appeared on screen, roli didn't realize what the movie was. 

"It's a horror movie" roli widened her eyes as she was hell scared of watching horror movies. 

"Yes, it is" sid replied with an evil smirk. 

"I'm not watching it" roli said. Sid didn't give her any chance to escape. He circled his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer. 

"You've to watch it" sid enjoyed seeing her scared. Especially after the cockroach incident. He thought she was cute when she gets scared. And that's the reason he wanted to make her watch a horror movie and enjoy teasing her. 

While watching the scary scenes, roli either tightly closed her eyes or nudged her face into Sid's chest. On the other hand, Sid was completely enjoying to see her like a scary kitten. He even made few weird sounds in her ears, scaring the shit out of her and got few punches in return. 

Above all of those teasings, the closeness they were sharing at the moment made him feel even more special. He loved the fact that roli being next to him. In his silent prayers, he wished it to be forever! 

"Thank God, it's over" roli exhaled as she leaned on to Sid's shoulder. 

Just then sid did realize that the movie was over. He quickly snapped out of his dreamland and glanced at roli, who was resting on his shoulder. 

"How about watching one more?" Sid again started his teasing. 

"No" roli shouted as she tried to snatch his laptop from him.

"You're doing it purposely, just to tease me. You're really bad" roli complained with a pout like a kid. 

"You think I'd melt for your puppy face?" Sid laughed at the silly face she had made. But, on the contrary of what he said, he actually melted seeing her puppy expression. 

"Well, It's enough for today" roli sighed in relief as she watched sid turning off the laptop. But, his next words shocked her "..I'll save this another movie for tomorrow". 

"Not again" roli yelled in annoyance. 

"Will see. Anyways I got to go, bye" sid was about to go but stopped and turned to her as he continued "by the way, no one's at home and now I'm going out too. Enjoy yourself all alone". 

"What.. where's maa and mataji" roli asked. 

"They went to temple and told me to tell you about it" sid informed. 

"And you came here to scare me" roli glared at him. 

"May be" sid smirked and turned to go. 

"Wait.." roli shouted, making him to stop on his tracks.

"What?" Sid asked, turning to her. 

"Don't go" roli spilled out hesitantly as she knew he'd never going to listen to her. She couldn't stay alone in whole mansion, especially not after watching a horror movie just a while back. 

"You want me to stay here" sid said with a prideful smile. Roli slightly shook her head as answer. 

"Then let's make a deal. If you impress me, I'll stay otherwise I won't" sid declared arrogantly.

"Impress you? How?" Roli looked at him confused. 

"You can praise me or tell something good about me" sid said as he settled down on the couch. 

"Is there any good about you?" Roli said without thinking anything. 

"Really. I'm going" sid got up. Only then roli realized what she said. 

"Wait wait wait. I'm sorry" roli said while sid sat back on to the couch. 

"Now start praising me" sid urged arrogantly as he leaned back. 

Roli felt like crying but she got no other way than listening to sid. So she started saying all the sweetest words she had known to him. Sid, though he felt like breaking into a laughter seeing her face, he controlled it and remained with a stern expression, enjoying her praising him to the fullest.
