So the next day Meera and Dev set out to Hoshiarpur along with Maan...

Meera had a picture of Geet in her mobile...

That buaji requested them to send...

This Meera was so angry and wanted to see the girl atonce...

As if they Maan won't agree for this marriage unless she approves the girl...

Geet's college function ka photo hai...

Meera showed it to dev...

Dev: wow...she looks gorgeous

Meera stares...

Dev: tumse achchi nahi hai

Meera: haina, ye toh mujhse bhi bahut sundar hai

Maan tries to pretend as if he didn't hear them...

Meera had deliberately said that...

She watches Maan for his reaction...

She thought Maan has never met Geet...

He would peep into her mobile to take a look at Geet...

But nothing like that happened...

Meera: maanna padega Dev, inn Khuranas ko samajna mushkil hi nahi namunkin hai

She is having a dig at her MIL...

Dev laughs...

If Meera had said this at home Dev would have to do his chores himself for the next few days...

Whenever there is a tiff between Meera and Kiran both of them blame Dev and start their fight with him...

Bechara Dev, agar sab teek hotha toh donno ek se badkar ek Dev ke peeche padhe rehthe...

Dev mein na aaj aap ke liye koi nayi dish bana rahi hoon...usski koi zaroorat nahi...

Dev meinne tere liye specialy ye dish banaya hai, tumme bachpan se hi pasand haina?

Maan thinks about Geet...her lovely smile...

Maan was actually attracted to Geet when she came back to the institute one weekend just after the classes at her college ended...

She came to take a hard copy of her project...for her records...

She came with one of her friends...maybe a combined project...

Actually it was Pinky...

Sasha showed them the system connected to the printer...

She helped them get started and left them on their own which is what Geet always wanted...

The printer was placed just in front of Dev's cabin...

Dev didn't want anyone miss using it so he always had a watch on that...

One could see what's going on from inside his cabin but not from outside...

Maan was sitting inside...

And he just accidentally spotted Geet...

And he automatically got up from his seat and went near the glass divider and kept looking at her...

Geet was unaware of that and she was chatting with her friend, giggling, frowning and seriously doing her job...

Geet looked worried all of a sudden...

The printer got stuck...

Sasha came and tried to fix it...she couldn't...

And Geet was like " I know better"

She also tried her hand but in vain...

Sasha came to Maan finally...

Maan hurried to his seat and pretended to be busy...

Sasha: sir, printer mein koi problem hai, aap zara dekhiye"

Maan: tum dekh nahi sakhti? Mein kaam kar raha hoon"

Sasha: par sir, they want to finish it today, they need it on Monday it seems

Maan: ask them to come tomorrow

Sasha: kal Sunday hai sir, holiday

Maan: Ajay said he has some job, he will be thre tomorrow

Sasha: teek hai sir

Geet looked disappointed and left with a sad face...

Maan deliberately asked made her come the next day...

He could have fixed the printer within a matter of minutes...

But he wanted to see her again...

Don't know what's wrong with him, he just wanted to keep watching her...

Geet came next day...

No one was there except that Ajay who was busy in the store room...

Geet and her friend were more relaxed today...

Geet looked so fresh and bubbling with energy...

As they were left alone they were having fun...

Munching their fries and doing their job at a leisure pace...

They cracked some jokes ...maybe it was about sasha...

Yes, Geet imitated Sasha and Maan had a great time watching all this from his secret hide out...

Geet loosened her hair...

Maybe she came in a hurry after a hair wash...

She was constantly pushing the starnd of hair that was wavering in front of her eyes and were disturbing her once in a while...

As they say " A thing of beauty is a joy for ever"

Those cute images of Geet were stored in Maan's permanent memory...

He was just scanning them right now...

The car came to a halt and Maan came back to reality...

They have arrived at Geet's house...

Maan looks at the house and the surroundings...

Some people stop and look at them...

These were village people, still retaining the traditions amd most importantly the family bonding and love still remains in these parts unlike the so called metros where no one had the time even for themselves...work work work...money money money...run run run...

Quite contrast to this lazy and calm village...

But the early rays of the sun seemed to be more beautiful , spreading the joy amongst the lush green fields...with those flowers smiling and dancing in the wind...

That's why Yash ji shifted his story to these villages fron Europe in the later part of DDLJ...

They went in and found that there was no one in the aanghan...

Village mein toh entrance khula hi rehtha haina...

Aur ye calling bell kahan hai?

Meera: mein andar jaakke dekhhti hoon

Dev: kya?

Meera: don't worry, they won't kill me

Meera gets in and comes back with a mischievous smile...

Dev: kya baat hai? koi hai ya nahi?

Meera: sshhh, aao mere saath

She takes them in...

Ranno and Mohinder are in the kitchen...

Ranno kuch bana rahi hai...

Aur Mohinder kya kar raha hai?

Maan is surprised to see him in the kitchen...

Meera: lagtha hai ghar pe sirf ye donno hai, warna pathi pathni ki madat karne kitchen nahi jaatha

Maan: toh Geet ghar pe nahi hai?

Maan is disappointed...

Meera: sshhh, dhere bolo

Maan: what? Ye kya kar rahe hai hum? This is wrong

Meera: tumme apne saas aur sasoor ke barein mein jaana hai ya nahi?

Maan: nahi, mujhe sirf uss ladhki ke barein mein jaana hai

Meear: tum jao, bahar wait karo               

But Maan is curious...kehthe haina ki aulat apne mabaap ke parchayi hothe hai...

Toh inko dekhkke patha chalega ki Geet kaisi ladhki hai...

Maan also stays back...

Mohinder: hare, tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? tumme toh aaram ki zaroorat hai...

Actually everyone has gone to some function and Ranno said that she had a headache and stayed back...Muhinder bhi koi bahane banakke gahr pe reh gaya, Ranno ki madat karne

Ranno: hare, mein teek hoon

Mohinder: ab sab bahar gaye hai toh tum kissko khana bana rahi ho?

Ranno: aapko hi, badam halwa, aapko pasand haina?

Mohinder: par ab isski kya zaroorat hai, pehle apna khyaal rakho

Ranno: aaj kuch khaas din hai

Mohinder: kya?

Ranno: aap bhool gaye?

Mohinder: haan, budda ho gaya hoona?

Ranno: mujhe aaise nahi lagtha

Mohinder: tum hi bathao, tum toh bahut hoshiar ho

Ranno: aaj aapke janam din hai

Mohinder: ye lo, mein kya 5 saal ka bacha hoon? Tum mere janam din manana chahathi ho?

Ranno: aapko apne janam din bhi yaad nahi hai?

Mohinder: yaad karkke kya kartha? Toh issiliye tum mittai bana rahi ho?

Ranno: haan, aur aapke haath mein kya hai?

Mohinder: ye, tummare liye biryani, tumme bahut pasand haina? Mujhe laga tum khana nahi ban paoge, pehle aao, aaram se beitkke khao

Mohinder Ranno ke haath pakadkke bahar lekhe aatha

Ranno: hare hare, halwa jal jayega

Mohinder: woh mein sambaloonga

Mohinder takes charge of the halwa...

Ranno enjoys her biryani...

Meera and party silently leave that place giving them privacy...

They wait for a while...they didn't want to disturb them...

Maan is so impressed by the love they have for each other at this age...

Geet bhi aaisa hi hogi? Ye mein kya soch raha hoon?

Kahin aaisa toh nahi ki mein apne janam din mein Geet ke haath ke chocolate mousse khana chahatha?

Par aaise hi Geet mujhse pyaar karthi toh kitna achcha hoga?

What? MSK tum yahan iss shadhi ko rokhne aaye ho, apne Dulhan ko le jane nahi...

Maybe this place is crazy, issiliye mein bhi aaise sochne laga hoon...

Maan tries to get these unwanted thoughts out of his mind...
