At Hoshiarpur….

Geet thinks about what happened after she finished her degree….

She was very happy that she successfully completed this …..

Now it's time to get into the MBA course…

Geet had been preparing for the entrance too……

But her family is busy with her wedding plans…..

Geet too knows this very well….

Once when Geet was at Hoshiarpur for a holiday….

A woman called Geet's home….

Geet attended the call…..

A mother os a software engineer working in the US….and as Geet was a computer graduate she was keen in this rishtha….

After a little chit-chat with her Geet had a good impression on her, she was a woman with a lot of confidance, well-educated, not like her mother, she is a finance consultant in Chandigarh….

Geet instantly liked her….software engineer? Us?

Geet could do her MS there and join his office itself…..

But Darji interrupted, had a brief convo with her, he didn't seem much interested….

We won't send our girl abroad, we are looking for a local boy…bang he kept the receiver….

But the real reason is he didn't like a woman bossing around, what's her man doing? Letting her speak while he hides behind her pallu?

Now Geet imagines what kind of a family she would be married to?

Same sick people always underestimating women like these Handas…..

From then on Geet is having nightmares about her sasuraal…..

What if she also ended in the kitchen?

What if she can't read naymore?

What if she can't go out anymore?

She prepared well for her project and hoped that somehow she can impress her family and get into PG….she had even got applications from a college in Chandigarh…..

But she knows that it's impossible…..

Letting her alone to saty in a hostel….no way is this going to happen…

Still her mind thinks about this only and never about marriage……

It is not for me….I don't want any marriage…..

Just to postpone her permanent return to Hoshiarpur she joined an advanced computer class….

Moreover someone told her that it would be the best choice if you want to get employed……

She can get a job and run away from home, isn't that a good idea?

But hardly a week later everything changed…..

Why did she go to that Pinky's marriage?

Doesn't she know that matches are made at such marriages in her society?

Btu how could she miss her best friend's wedding?

And everything happened so fast after that…Geet didn't even have the time to realize that it's all real…..

The final count down for her life sentence has started……

Ranno came and took her to Hoshiarpur that day…

Geet was reluctant to go back to Hoshiarpur….

Once she goes there there is no coming back…..

They will spoil all her derams…..

What about the MBA entrance?

Darji won't even know what she is talking about…

Mohinder though sympathises with her won't be able to go against Darji's orders…

Who wants his sympathies?

What a father he is?

Not able to fulfil his daughter's wishes…..

But Darji is the head of the village, the whole of Hoshairpur nod their head to his words without even thinking for a second, ye toh Darji ka izzat ka sawaal hai…..Mohinder kuch nahi kar saktha…..

Darji had already given his words to Vijay……

No stopping what so ever….

And why would anyone even think of stopping this?

They are too happy that Geet is going to Delhi, first girl going so far from Hoshiarpur…..

And she also loves the city life more….haina?

Ranno also finds this the best opportunity for Geet to get her freedom….

She is impressed with Kiran's authority….

So the women have their voice in family decisions…..

Moreover Vijay is a well educated nice gentleman…..

She had seen him at her house a couple of times….

He respects her father very much……

She has heard about Maan's parents' tragic end……

Her father believed that it was realy unfortunate that people start blaming each other and someone even accussed Vijay for all this…..

He cheated Maan's father in business….

So Sheetal left him and so on…..

People and their imaginations…

It took a long time for the stories to stop…..

Now …….At KM…..

Maan thinks about how to escape from his bua's cunning trap…..

She is too smart….but only she can help him now…..

Only she can manage Vijay know?

But Maan doesn't know that it was only Vijay who had seen Geet first and thought that she would be a good choice for Maan……

Geet naanu Joginder is a good friend of Vijay…..

They are both from Amritsar and they know each other for nearly three decades…..

Business friends, but later became close buddies…..

Joginder introduced Geet at Pinky's marriage to Vijay…..

Told him that they are planning to get her married….

He can also help him find a suitable var…..

Vijay knows about Ranno and her in-laws too….

Vijay was sceptical about getting Ranno married to Mohinder who is a school dropout….

But to his surprise Ranno adjusted so well and Darji is very proud of his choti bahu…,

She never complained that her in-laws are gavaar, unpad or anything for that matter….

She is such a great person, so humble and never boasted that she is better qualified than the others, her daughter should be like her only….

Vijay was already thinking about Maan…..

Given the horrible back ground of Maan, you need someone who already knows his family troubles…

Anyone new would agree to this relationship only for the money and Maan's past would be made a big issue whenever there is a misunderstanding, they will compare Maan with his father and say that they have been cheated….

As for as Joginder is concerned, he knows everything about Kiran's family…….

There is nothing to hide from him…..

And moreover Maan has been left alone all these days, no family except Dadi….

Darji's family is one big family with his two sons and their children living happily under the same roof….

So this is a jackpot for Maan…..moer than anything he needs a family to support him…..

And without any hesitation Vijay told about Maan….

 Vijay told about the girl to Kiran and she went and saw her the next day itself…..

She also liked her very much…..

Then ti was Dadi's turn ….and now it's Maan's turn….

After all these drama how can one reject a girl?

Vijay wouldn't have let them do this picnic to visit the HAndas every week if he isn't determined to get them married…..

Though Geet would get a hundred good offers than this Maan wouldn't get a better girl…..

Not only her looks but her family, her background, her Naanu, everything is just more than satisfaying for Vijay….

And Maan's marriage has been his responsibility…..

He doesn't want to do this for Kiran….he wants to do this for Maan……

Somehow he is always attached to Maan, though he won't show it off he loves him very much….

And Maan would only listen to Vijay, and not even Kiran……

Kiran never commands Maan, she always pampers him just like Dadi….

But she also tries to instill some discipline in Maan lest he becomes like his father….

She always used Vijay as her weapon…..

Maan respects him so much that he won't even utter a word against him other than "yes Uncle, ji Uncle, OK Uncle, I'll do it…"

Though this rishtha was brought by Vijay, Kiran also liked Geet, as her pathija is good looking she needs a beautiful girl for him, her bahu is also not bad, she won't admit Meera is so beautiful which she is, now Kiran had to find a girl more beautiful than Meera else everyone would complain that Kiran is biased, she had got a good girl for her son and not Maan, if it was Maan's mother, Sheetal,she would have found a better match for Maan…..

Since her babhi left Kiran had the extra responsibility of Maan, and everyone would ask her about Maan only not Dev, she hates when people say that Maan is very unlucky, what's Maan's mistake? His parents were two lunatics…..

She always defended Maan and says that Maan has brought them luck for KC's business boomed only after his birth……and that was b'coz of Vijay and Madan's hardwork…..

Madan almost spent days together at KC……not even bothering to see his pregnant wife…..

That's one big obsession he had, his business…..this was one of Sheetal's complains….no time for wife….

So everyone is happy with this marriage except for our Maneet…..
