Geet's Naanu introduced her to one of his friend'.

She wanted to learn more and more, but these people didn't let her for the fear of not getting a suitable groom, most of the boys settle in their family business earlier and start earning rather wasting your time on higher education'.

Geet's family has been looking for a groom for her ever since she turned 18'.

It all started when she finished school itself'.

She studied from Amritsar staying with her Naani and Naanu'.

Her Naanu too is a businessman but he wanted his son to get a degree, any degree, but her stupid mamaji studied in 5 colleges in 7 years and never got a degree'.

But he is the one who introduced her to Osho, Vivekananda, Karl marx and evry other legends'Tatas, Ambanis and Bill Gates too'.

He also introduced her to Indian politics'.Nehru, Gandhi, Indira, Morarji Desai to the Modis and the Rahuls'.

He has got a whole lot of books and magazines'.what a treat for her'.

She always drowned in one of them'..

Geet's mother fulfilled her father's wish'she became the first graduate in her family'..

But no one would believe that Ranno is a graduate if they see her now'.

She is now a research scholar in cookery'..for she stays in the kitchen all day'.

When Geet passed out of school with distinction, she wanted to joind a professional course'preferably Textile Technology '..

Her father is in the textile business'..

Alas! Her family looked at her like an alien when she disclosed her wish'.

it would have been better if she had opted medicine like her best friend at school'.

But Geet was not into medicine'..

She wanted to be a business woman'

When she told Darji that she wanted to join their business oneday, Darji thought that it must be the stupid education she got that has made her mad''

So, no more studies'get her back to Hoshiarpur and get her married'she was still a minor'.

Naanu won't let that happen'.

Naanu said that he won't send her back'let her join any college, Darji can find a match for her, she would go to college till then, she won't sit idle at home'

Geet then joined bachelor's degree in computers'.her newly found passion'.

All thanks to that summer course she did after her +2 boards were over'.

She joined college at Amritsar itself'.

But when she was in 2nd year, Darji wanted to get her married to an illiterate(+2 pass, it's also illiterate for her) business man from Chandigarh'

She went on a hunger strike for two days with a lot of crying and fighting with her mother'.

She always accused Ranno for neglecting her and always taking care of Teeto only'

But Teeto had some problems at birth, so weak that he fell sick often'.Ranno had to accompany him from one hospital to other'.

Moreover Ranno didn't want Geet to stay at her 18th century sasuraal'..

Teeto was a dull student unlike Geet who is so brilliant'..

Geet had never seen Teeto with a book in hand'.

It's always been Ranno who did the reading and her brother would just listen to her half-hearted'.

He is always this cricket freak'..thinks that he is the next Sachin'..

Geet just loves watching the men in blue in action''.

After a lot of drama Darji let her finish her degree, but she would get married after that'.

Geet agreed provided the boy was well educated'..

They made a deal and its time to implement it'.

But still these business people are only after money'.

Her brother Brij was very happy to save a few lakhs for his business rather than doing an MBA'.typical business mind'always calculative'..
