Chapter 18

"you said, riya deleted those pics?...' airaa's jaw fell down. Sid shrugged his shoulders  caressing roli's hairs who was sleeping resting her head in his lap. 

"Are you serious, you were really talking with riya?...' 

Sid lifted his head from roli's face and gave a sulky look. 

"Am i look like a liar?...' he rolled his eyes in exasperate. Airaa raised her hands in the air surrendering herself. 

"Just asking Sid, because riya isn't a type of girl who lose her chance so soon...'

"I know yaar, that's why I'm worrying what if she have any photo copies with her...' sid sighed before looking down and stroking roli's cheek. 

"Whatever happens, i'll be with my girl' mumbles sid bent and planted a smooth kiss on roli's cheek. 

AFTERNOON:

CANTEEN:

"President sidhant' an young boy came near sid's table. 

"Yes...' sid stopped chewing his food. 

"John sir calling you...' informed him fiddling his shirt hem. 

"Now?..' he scrunched his eyebrows as his professor won't call him in lunch time. 

"Hmm yeah, actually someone beat jigar bro badly and threw him in the front gate of our college (rocky spit the juice and coughing) now he is in Ortho ward covered his whole body with gauze' said him. Roli touched sid's arm making him turn on her side. She found him grinning big. Roli rolled her eyes. 

"are you grinning? I'm worrying right here, what if they finds out and kick you out of the college?...' she pouts her lips running her finger in the plate. 

"Stop worrying baby, I'll be back in a minute' sid rose up from his place then walks with that guy after kissing roli's forehead. 

"What will happen now?... it's all because of me?..'

"Hey Hey don't worry roli, do you really think john sir will kick sidhant in his ass.. definitely not! Maybe he is calling sid to ask about jigar's condition' spoke dhruv casually. Roli nodded her head half-heartedly. 

A while later,

Sid came inside the canteen with his face full of smile. 

"Hey cutie' he sat beside roli. 

"what happened? Did they tear your transfer sheet? Are they going to push you out of the college?...' roli's voice laced with fret. 

"Oh baby, it's nothing...sir called me to go to Ortho block to see jigar as he was bored of going alone...' he said surprising roli. 

"Told you know roli, sid is john sir's bet! John's puppy' giggles rocky playing with airaa's hair. Sid scoffs before turning on roli's side.

"You ok right?...'

"yeah!' roli leaned on his shoulder with a smile. 

"And boys, congratulations we did a good job! Jigar can't walk for at least 6months' proclaimed sid proudly showing his fist at his two crime partners. Dhruv and rocky laughed hit their fist with sid while their respective girls rolls their eyes shaking their head. 

END OF FLASHBACK.....

MORNING: 

"Move sidhant...' roli pushed sid away then came out from the washroom with a wrapped towel around her. Sid laughs followed her with his own towel around his waist. 

"Day by Day, you are getting so naughty' blushed her before smacking his arm making him hiss in pain. 

"Not my fault sweetie, day by day you are getting so gorgeous...' he back hugged her and nuzzles in her wet neck. 

"No...' roli moaned tilting her head to give him more space. 

"You are the death of me roli...' whispers him sucking her neck marking her. 

"And you are the end of my world sidhant' confessed roli tightening his arms around her waist. 

An hour later,

"You wear it in your neck roli, I'll give my collared t-shirt ok?..' asks him tying her mangalsutra around roli's neck. 

"Ok'

Sid leaned down and pecked her lips before sticking fake mustache and beard in her face. 

"Grr, it's so hitching sidhant... whenever i open my mouth it goes inside my mouth' huffed roli pouting her lips. 

Sid chuckles,

"Until this lockdown get over roli, then we will go to our house after that you need not to do this' sid says pinching her cheek. Roli groaned....

"Let's go' she said then headed downstairs. 

DINING ROOM:

Everyone were having their breakfast with a little talk. 

"Hmm..Sidhant beta, can you please drop me in our old house today evening?...' asks mataji. 

"Yeah sure...but why old house?...' confused him. Mataji's face turned pale..

"tomorrow is january 19th bhaiya' announced janvi. 

Roli's hand paused in the air after hearing the date. She wipped her head and saw sid who was already watching her with a painful look. 

Roli's eyes filled with tears. She dropped her food in the plate before ran towards her room. 

"What happened?...' janvi tries to get up...

"wait, I'll check he..him' sid got up then followed roli while others watches sid's retreating back with concern except data and jethalal. 

Sid reached roli's room...He turned the knob and found it was locked inside. He raised his hand to knock but halted. 

"I'm sorry baby' mumbles him turned around then takes steps towards his room. 

Sid opened his wardrobe with tears scrolling down in his both cheeks. He took out a photo frame in his hands from under his every clothes.

He caressed it....

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry...' he breaks into tears as he hugged the frame close to his chest. 

"Oh my god, why did you do like this?...' cursed him fell in his knees. 

EVENING:

Sid was stood before roli's room with a heavy heart and red eyes holding the photo frame. He turned the knob and sighed as it opened this time. 

He entered into it and hears roli's pathetic cry from bathroom. 

He walked near the locked washroom door. Sid placed his both hands on the door then pressed his forehead in it. A lone pair of tear slipped down from his eyes. 

"Roli...' sid sobbed gliding down. 

"I'm sorry' 

"g-go-go away...go away' chokes roli removing her mustache and beard before throwing it far away. 

"I'm sorry baby' sid cries along with roli. 

"I don't want to see your face' 

"please roli...' whines him dropping the frame in the ground..His whole body is shaking because of his uncontrollable cry. 

"Hit me roli..Hit me' begged him pressing his forehead more in the door. 

Roli opened the door..she spotted him in the floor kneeling and crying badly. Her eyes fell in the photo frame. Roli let out a loud squeal and before threw herself in his lap hugged him tightly. 

"Why didn't you...' she hits his chest with her clutched fist whilst sid bears her hit mourning silently. 

"Why didn't you save him?....' she grabbed his collar and shakes him. 

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry' he placed his head in her left shoulder and weeping. Roli cries her eyes out. 

"Why didn't you save my son?....' queries her eyeing her ultrasound photo frame in the ground.
