FREEDOM TO DIE

Roli was searching Siddhant everywhere in the house and at last, she landed near the pool area where a trap was waiting for her...

Siddhant was on the other side of the pool hiding himself behind a wall and was thinking how to call Roli there unknown of the thing that she's already here, he dialed Roli's number and was waiting for her to pick the call but it went unanswered, he thinks ' is she still sleeping '

He tried again but again unanswered, he huffed and was about to leave but stopped hearing her voice ...

" Siddhant Ji "

He swiftly turned to the voice and spotted Roli there, he was tense for a while thinking did she know it ...

" Siddhant Ji, where are you ?? " Asked her with little feeble voice after being tired of searching for him, over that her injuries aren't letting her walk properly...

Siddhant started biting his nails thinking how to tell her to come near his trap, actually what he did was he had kept one of his files on the tables present there, then was thinking to ask Roli to bring it for him and when Roli will go near that table then her leg will be tripled over the thin wire he had arranged in that way which will eventually make Roli fall into the swimming pool...

From Darsh he got to know that Roli doesn't know swimming so he was quite sure of the fact that Roli will be drowned inside, it will make her struggle for breath and that's what exactly he wants, he wants her to struggle for her every breath, he wants her to know how it feels when you try to live but the surrounding is making you suffocate to the extent that you end up wishing to die...

This is what his Aanya is going through, he wanted her to be with him but she's so desperate to die as if this life is suffocating her too much that she's tired of even giving a chance to her life ...

On the other hand, he's unaware of the truth about the dark past which Roli has gone through, he wants that person to realize about ' suffocation to live ' who had spent every second of her life in it, she can never describe how much she wanted to be free from that cage if not to live then at least to die, she really wanted to die but her brother didn't let her to ....that every passing second of her life she has wished for only one thing, freedom ...when will she get freedom, FREEDOM TO DIE at least...

" Siddhant Ji " calls her again...

Siddhant raised his head from the floor and looked at her still thinking about how to work on his plan, here Roli moves little towards that table making Sid's lips curl up into an evil smirk seeing his plan is going to work she's coming near it ...he was desperately waiting for her to come nearer and then to fall into the pool...

Roli took her slow steps towards the table holding her leg a little above her knee which was paining like hell but she was trying hard to ignore that pain only just to see Siddhant in front of her which will give a little relief and feeling of being safe in his presence...

Before Roli could reach that table the newspaper kept there fell because of the wind and the business page got open, she looks at the newspaper pathetically thinking now how will she bent down with her injured knee to pick it up, but still she thought to at least slide it into a corner aside from middle of the way, she moves near it and was trying to slide it with the help of her leg but she stopped in the middle as something caught up her eyes making her shiver ...

Siddhant was continuously looking at what she's doing, he gets little annoyed because of the time she was taking to reach out to that table and it made him irritated after seeing her more concerned about that fallen newspaper ...but when she stopped in her way he got confused and was observing her keenly only to find her shivering with fear on her face ...

Roli couldn't speak up anything, her lips got closed tightly in fear that she wasn't able to call Siddhant, her eyes were stuck to the page which has a photo of Darsh with some news about him ...

Darsh has given such an impact on Roli that now she gets scared even if she thinks about him and here he's in front of her, maybe not in real but that pic is enough for Roli to shake her as a whole, her fear was making storm inside her, she was trembling a lot, tears started to drop down her cheeks, her fingers started to play with each other showing her tension, her breath became uneven in fear that she opened her mouth to take few long breaths to get it settled but it didn't help her infact that made her choke little ... she doesn't know what should she do, to move or to stay, should just cry standing there or should at least try to move ...

Siddhant was still observing her movements became shocked seeing her in this way, he was unable to even think about what she saw that made her scared like this ...

Roli tried to take back steps to move away from there but her legs weren't supporting her, they were freezed at a place which made her cry more, she doesn't know why every time her body fails to follow her orders and get itself submitted to Darsh even though he's there or not ... She doesn't have that much guts to face her brother and go against his orders and that's what's happening even now, she feels like Darsh's eyes are ordering her from that pic to not to move from there and like always she's just letting him rule over her ...

Roli was continuously trying her unsuccessful attempts to gather up some courage and move out of there but she couldn't, she just stood there and cried, cried louder and louder on her situation, this one pic had put her whole life in front of her where she was always tortured by him and after being satisfied from her screams he used to smile like this in end and will leave her alone to cry ...

And then all of sudden she felt like Darsh is smiling in real and had also winked at her from that newspaper, Roli got scared like hell, she screamed and as a quick response she took a back jump to keep herself away from him as far as she could but she ended up falling into the pool ...

" Siddhanttt jiii " shouted her with all the strength she has...

Siddhant got jerk hearing her voice, he already has witnessed everything and this blown his mind out of confusion, he doesn't have a little bit of clue that why is she scared this much ...he was in so much confusion that he even forgot to notice Roli fell into the pool of which he had wished for ...

Roli doesn't know anything about swimming but still was moving her hands slapping the water beside her trying to push herself up but couldn't, she was drowning slowly ...

Her injuries have already made her tired and exhausted to even try, she was taking heavy breath which made water travel inside her nostrils, she got choked and coughed to get relief from that feeling but as she opened her mouth water made its way inside her making her hard for breath, she was moving down and down, her eyelids were getting drowsy, she felt like she's fainting but before that everything came in front of her eye in a blink, her parents than their death, living with Darsh his torture that fear than at last Siddhant her Angel, his love his care, the comfort she felt with him ... everything ...

She smiled remembering about Siddhant and she wished that she could live with him, wished to be loved by him and be happy which she has craved from long but then she realizes where she's and she tries to laugh inside the water itself as she felt like laughing on her life, when she was wishing to die throughout her life then God wasn't listening to her and today when she's wishing to live with Siddhant God is so keen to kill her, why is that so ...she was cursing to God for taking this chance from her where she wanted to live...

At last, she left trying to come up and closed her eyes losing her consciousness but before closing her eyes she tried to look out of the water with a hope to get a glimpse of him before she dies as she felt she's gonna die this time for sure ...after few moments her body touched the floor of the pool with a little thud... 

Siddhant was looking all these silently and every time her scared face was flashing in front of him, he was still not sure what made her behave like this he felt uneasy after seeing her in that way or to be precise can say her scared face had triggered the soft corner of his heart which made him run towards the pool seeing her totally drowned and then to jump inside to save her ...well even before he didn't want to kill her, he just wanted to let her know how it feels, he has already decided to save her and not to let her die but for now, the reason he wants to save her is different, it's not just a plan but he wished to save her ...why, he himself is not clear about it yet...

Siddhant pulled her out of the pool then placed her beside on the floor and took her head on his lap, he slaps her on the cheek to make her conscious but she didn't, he then presses on her chest trying to make her spit all those water which she has gulped inside ...

" Roli, Roli get up " he was continuously repeating the same thing and unknown to him his eyes started to shed tears after seeing her numb, whatever it is every time he feel a heartache after seeing her in such a dying condition, the same happened back then when he found her in the garden and now too, he wanted to take revenge on her but again he ended up saving her, her face has something in it which always make him forget about his revenge for that particular time ...

After a few moments of trying he got her back, she coughed then throws some water out and took heavy breaths, Siddhant rubs her hands, legs, and slaps little asking her to wake and finally it worked she slowly opened her wet and heavy eyelids but could open only half of her eyes and saw Sid from that she felt so overwhelmed seeing herself alive and in his arms, she grabs his hand and tried to snuggle into him she slowly says " thank you "

" Why? "

" Yo..yo..youu..you ..save..saved..meee " she slowly mumbles...

" Sorry ..." Siddhant apologized to her for this act of his, he was feeling guilty of it, after seeing her scared face his thought got changed all of sudden, he doesn't know what he wants to do now but one thing was sure he had forgotten the thing that he did marry her for revenge...

" It's ok " murmured her thinking he's feeling guilty because he got delayed in saving her...

" Aren't you angry with me ??? " Asked him as he felt a little shocked seeing her forgiving him even after he had almost killed her ...

Roli nodded no slightly ... " I love you "

Siddhant stared at her face for a moment and then pulled her into a tight hug giving her comfort and also to make his heart calm little which is still not sure what it wants, does it wants to kill her or to leave her, he never was that cruel how much he's trying to be with her, everyone knows about Sid's anger but they also know he won't hurt anyone until they hurt him and here, for him she's the girl who has ruined his sister's happiness and that's the only reason he decided to take his revenge on her by making her feel the same way what all his Aanya is going through but at the same time he can't always be that rude to her when he sees her in a miserable condition and scared, his inner self push him to be caring towards her whenever he felt she requires comfort and after seeing continuous few incidents where Roli has behaved weird he is in dilemma to understand what has happened to her and who she's in actual, is she the one who trap innocent girls or someone else ...

After sometime when Roli slowly falls asleep in his hug due to tiredness Siddhant took her in his arms and went back into the room, he put her on the bed and tried to move away but found her pinkie finger was locked with his, he stopped and caressed her little finger with his thumb that's when he saw a fresh cut on her hand maybe because of her glass Bangles and this reminded him of her, Aanya ... he remembered how she tried to slit her wrist attempting to kill herself, a fresh drop of a tear slide down from his eyes remembering that day which always haunts him in his nightmares ...

And then the anger has overpowered his mind and his heart got filled with hatred yet again, he left her hand then moved away from her taking back steps, he went to his wardrobe took his dress to change then he left the house and went to the hospital to meet Aanya leaving Roli still in wet clothes...

Siddhant entered into the ward and saw Aanya was staring at the ceiling without blinking and silent tears were rolling down continuously from her corner of eyes and three of her friends were non-stop blabbering one or the other thing sitting a few feet away trying to grab a little bit of her attention but she isn't responding at all ...

By seeing the distance between Aanya and her friends Sid understood that Aanya is still not ready to let anyone touch her, this breaks him again, he controlled himself than making up a smile he moves forward calling her...

" Gudiya, how are you feeling now ..." Asks him taking a stool from the side and sitting upon it keeping it just beside her bed ...

Aanya turned her eyeballs towards his side and seeing him so near she shrank herself to the other corner ...

Siddhant gasps seeing her going away from him, his eyes became teary but still, he holds his tear and asks again but this time stammering " how..how you...feel.. feeling ??? "

" Dying every second " answered her so straight as if trying to make him realize that she wants to die

Sid's smile vanished and tears were again dared to fall, he clutches his fist tightly to stop himself from breaking down in front of her ... Otherside her friends too were looking so pale after hearing her answer ... 

" It'll pain for a few days until the bones will set then you'll be fine," says Siddhant bringing up some courage trying to behave so normal in front of her ...

" And What about my soul ???... " asks her sending a shiver inside everyone

" You know what doctor said, he said to keep you happy and then you'll be healed soon, so tell me any wishes what you want " Siddhant again tried to divert her from the thought of dying ...

" I want to sleep into the deep slumber and never want to wake up " 

Siddhant closed his eyes tightly hearing her wish, he couldn't handle it anymore, her every talk ends on only one thing, death ... she's so desperate to die and he feels himself so low thinking he's still unable to change her thoughts about it ...

After handling himself he told " mmm.. you are not allowed for it ...then what ..if you will keep sleeping only then to whom I'll annoy and to whom I'll love " he too tries to put forth his wish that he wants her in his life back...

Siddhant slowly tries to hold her hand but before it touches she took her hand away and spoke " don't make me hate you by pushing me to live forcefully ... it'll only suffocate me  which will make you regret later "

" I'll never regret keeping my daughter alive " replied him so genuinely ...

Aanya quickly looked at him when he addressed her as his daughter, tears started to scroll down her eyes seeing his unconditional love even her friends too started crying silently seeing all the effort Siddhant is taking to make Aanya comfortable but everything seems to be wasted ... For a while there was silence between them, none spoke anything, Sid again forwarded his hand to hold her and this time she didn't take it back and closed her eyes preparing herself to handle his touch...

Darsh came towards Aanya and he holds her hand so smoothly then started caressing it making her feel disgusted, she was crying like hell and was trying to take her hand off from his hold but his hold was tight enough not to be released so easily, she was pulling her hand but he squeezed her hand giving the slight red impression on it making her feel pain, as much as she tries to free herself his hold becomes stronger ... Darsh smirked seeing her unsuccessful attempts then moved close to her, so close to her face that she got freeze in middle, he slightly blows air on her face making her quiver then whispers so huskily " not so soon beauty " 

Aanya opened her eyes with a jerk as his voice echoed in her ears, she wanted to cry louder so that if possible then she won't be able to hear his voice ... She was already panicking after seeing the little glimpse of those darkest days and in that Siddhant kept his hand on hers so slightly but still that scared her so much ...she just pushed Sid's hands and shouted " No...  I can't "

Siddhant bites his lips to stop himself from crying after seeing her state, still, he said with a hope " try once "

" I can't " 

" It's ok calm down ...if you don't want to try then don't do now will try later ok " says him trying to make her relax...

After few minutes she got calmed but tears were still wetting her cheeks, everyone in the room was silently looking at her waiting for her response ...and after a moment later she slightly asks " when will I get FREEDOM "

" You have "

" TO DIE .... " Completed her looking into Sid's eyes asking for his permission to die 

Sid can clearly see that she had lost her every hope in life, she didn't want to even try to come out of all this, she has finally given up ...he got no guts to make her agree to live after looking at how his sister is waiting for her death and this was enough to pull out his soul but still summing up the remaining courage he spoke with a stern voice " Never .."

" Whyyyy, please try to understand I don't wanna live ..."

" And I want you to live " he replied her back with a begging tone as if he's begging her to live

Aanya kept silent for a minute then mumbles " I wish I could die " 

" If you want to hate me then ok hate me but I'll make sure that this wish of yours should never be fulfilled " Sid spoke his final words then left the room and ran towards outside as for now he can't hold himself anymore, he reached near his car then punched on it being so frustrated on himself realizing that he couldn't make her change her decision ...he remembered all the words  Aanya had told which broke him totally and he cries so loud resting his head on car's bonnet...

Darsh showed his and Sid's conversation to Roli with a full smile whereas Roli felt like dead after seeing Sid had allowed ...
