Rainy Days
Thunder roared at trembling earth,
As rain pierced their souls.
Running, to the little boy they went,
'Save us!' they all cried.
More than just a little boy,
He smiled and he vowed
To not raise a sword upward
But to bring the sky-god down.
A skip in his feet, he ran
And lifted a nearby hill
On a single finger, resting it
He smiled back at them all.
Seven nights and days in a row
He stood, with dismay none,
Until the mighty God of Thunder
Himself came crashing down.
