Chapter 13

Let's-Let's go' he stormed out. A sudden pain occurred in roli's heart seeing pain in his handsome face. Sid's friends with sam followed him giving her a disappointed look. 

"Am i doing the right thing?' roli asks to herself watches sid and his gang's retreating back with a pale face. 

Suddenly someone pulled roli in a bone crushed hug recoiling her. She pushed the person,

"What nonsense?...' sneered roli glaring at riya. 

"you loved someone...oh my gosh, you have a boyfriend already' exhilarated her jumping in her place. 

"I never thought sid's love would fail this much soon..my prayers have been answered' says her joining her hands together looking at the ceiling. Roli cringed at this before walking away from the happy riya.  

AFTERNOON:

Roli entered into the cafeteria. Her eyeballs waved the whole room to find some familiar faces. 

Sid's gang or Sam!!

After the incident this morning sam disappeared along with sid's gang left roli alone to prepare for the medical camp. 

Roli spotted sid's head. Her lips starts to curl and she takes steps near his table. 

"Little bit baby' 

Roli stopped in her track as she found the scene before her. Her jaw clenched in anger...

"Please sid, enough!' esha pouted her lips while sid tries to feed her lunch. 

"No esha, just little' 

Esha sighed then opened her mouth anyway. 

"Aww so cute!' sid's gang and sam said in unison admiring them resting their chin in palm. 

Roli gritted her teeth, she strode near the table turning their attention on her. Without thinking twice she took the plate of rice in her hands plopped it on sid's head making him gasp loud. Everyone shocked who were having their food sitting around sid's table. 

"What the hell?...' esha forwards hand to clear the rice from sid's head but roli swatted her hand,

"Don't touch him' demanded her. Roli gave him one final angry look at sid before heading out of the canteen. Sid who was watching her with an opened mouth blinking his eyelids in complete preplex. 

"What just happened here?' mutters sid taking tissues in his hand to clear the mess on his head. 

"roli just dropped a plate full of rice on your perfect gelled hair' chuckles airaa wiping his forehead. 

"Oh poor fried rice' quips riya who was crossing sid's table with her gang chortles seeing sid.  

Sid took a annoyed breath shaking his head. 

"Let me see her' sam followed roli after gathering her things. 

Sam reached the garden and spotted roli who was pacing back and forth biting her nails. 

"Hey there' sam reached roli stood in front her. 

"Move aside samira...'

"what you will do? Will burn me with your angry eyes?..' scoffs sam sat in the bench where roli had thrown her bag a while ago. 

Roli huffed,

"Why are you here now? You abandoned me in the auditorium and went behind him..I don't know whose friend you are?..'

"I went to see how was him after your big revelation..thank god, esha was there to console him...'

"She was there?...' bellowed roli interrupting sam. Samira shrugged her shoulders,

"Yeah, it was her who consoled him. Now bhai is single and esha too hope they'll join together make a cute pair' 

Roli's blood boils inside making her shiver in wrath. 

"What the hell? Join together? They can't...he loves me'

"Loved roli..He Loved you! Past tense!!!' emphasized sam with a chuckle. 

Roli's eyes stings in the corner,

"I hate you' shouted her took her bag then ran away blinking her eyelashes to stop the almost dropping tears. 

ROLI'S DORM:

"sorry roli...please talk to me' begs shika joining her hands while roli glares at her continuously with a zipped mouth. 

"The jealousy plot will always work in soap opera, i don't know why it got back fired in your life?...' shika tapped her chin dramatically. 

"Because it's real life idiot, not any stupid serial' roli yelled gritting her teeth. Shika gave a fake full teeth smile,

"Yeah right... now, you wasted my master plan so i need to think som..'

"Shut up!' snapped roli shutting shika's mouth.

"enough of your ideas...let me deal this myself, tomorrow i'm going tell him about your worst jealousy plan to sidhant'

"What? No' shika shook her head vigorously. 

"shika...before this plan at least he came near and do something to get my attention but now....'

Roli looks at her fiddling fingers which was rested in her lap.

"But now...now he is behaving as if he does not know me'

"This is not love?....'

Roli's head raised automatically and gave shika a shock look. 

"No..this is just-just a.... friendship?' roli stated the sentence like a question. Shika's eyebrows rose up,

"To save your FRIENDSHIP with sidhant go tell him' teased shika making roli to roll her eyes. 

EVENING: 

Roli came out from the laundry room after washing her clothes. She admires the green ground with a smile enjoying the fresh airy surrounding. 

Her eyes laid on a sid. She halted and found him laying down in the ground bench talking to someone over the phone laughingly. She shrinks her forehead then her legs took steps near him without her consent. 

"Oh my god, that's so fantastic' laughs sid holding his stomach like the person on the other side cracked a funny joke of the year. 

"And you sh...'

"heyy' groaned sid as someone pulled the mobile from his hand. He stood up and surprised spotting roli with his mobile in her ear,

"Haan sid...' esha laughs,

"finished?..now disconnect your call' roli admonished then cut the phone call before turning on sid's side. 

"Oye, i was talking to her...'

"you've changed so much sidhant' mumbles roli downing her head. Something has blocked in her throat,

"Why did you do this to me? I-I never-never (she cleare d her throat) thought you would change like this' she stuffed his mobile in his hand then whipped her heels then ran away from that place like a storm while sid was watching her with no expression in his face. 

ROLI'S DORM:

"This will pass...This will pass' roli consoles herself viewing her own reflection in the washroom mirror. 

"How long have you known him?...Couple of months?...this will pass roli, you came here to study. Go study' roli forced a smile and feels her wet cheeks. She caressed her right cheek and found tears. She was amazed when she realized how someone could cry without them knowing. 

Roli splashed water in her face,

"You shouldn't cry, why should you have to cry? He moved on his life, it's your turn now...' speaks roli determinedly. 

NEXT DAY MORNING:

Roli was on her way to her classroom. She ignored everyone who were in the corridor talking to their respective friends. She noticed sid's gang near her classroom. She took a breath,

"You can do roli!...' she smiles to herself then headed near her class. 

"Hey roli!' greeted dhruv. Roli stopped in her place and saw a pair of three eyes were focusing on her except sid's. She bites her cheek inside to control the urge to cry as sid was looking everywhere but her. She shared them her famous fake smile,

"Hi dhruv bhaiya, Hii airaa di, Hii rocky bhaiya, Hii sidhant b-bh-bhaiya' 

Sid's head turned and focused only on her now. Roli flinched because of cold glare,

"I have to go' she said in one go then sprinted away. 

AFTERNOON:

Roli and sam were in their lunch table having their lunch. 

"You know what, you look like a chimpanzee which ate a bowl of chili' commented sam took a large bite from her burger. 

"Oh that's really an irritating comment' says roli sarcastically running finger in her food. 

"Can you please tell me what happened?...'

"asking me like you don't know' roli gave a curt reply. Sam sighed,

"Fine...i'm going to pick tomato sauce, you want anything?...' queries sam getting up on her foot.

"No!' roli finally feed herself a bite. 

Roli spotted sidhant in his usual table with his friends. She diverted her eyes from him as his eyes falls on her while talking to his friends. 

"Where is that little rat today?...' murmured roli as she found esha no where beside sid. 

"Hey baby!' screamed someone standing near the lunch room entrance startling everyone including roli. 

"God, who the hel...'

The whole oxygen in roli's lungs sucked up making her to feel difficult to breath. She rose up from the seat like her ass caught in fire. 

"Roli baby' the person jogged towards roli with a big smile in his handsome face. 

"Ri-Rihan?...' roli's body trembles in fear spotting the person before her eyes. 

"Hey that's rihan ahuja! Roli's boyfriend!!!' exclaimed jigar pointing rihan. Riya's face bloomed in happiness. 

Rihan reached roli,

"Oh baby, i missed you so much' his hands reached her cheeks then cupped it. Roli eyes went wide, 

"Ahh' cries roli pushed his hands away before striding near sidhant. 

"Roli what happened?...' rihan followed roli. 

Roli held Sid's wrist with her quivering hand,

"Please sidhant...Please, tell him to go. I'll explain everything to you later. Now please just save me' pleased roli tightening her grip. 

"I don't want to come between lovers ok?...' sid pulled his wrist from her then tries to move. 

"Ple...'

"roli honey, what happened? Is he bothering you?...' rihan asked glowering at sid. 

"Excuse me? Didn't you see your girlfriend only came near and touched not me' scowled sid crossing his arms giving a same angry look at rihan. 

Roli's breath went uneven,

"Who-Who...'

"oh really, then why hell she is shivering like this as soon as your bloody shadow touched her?....' rihan moved near sid challenging him. Sid's eyebrow raised,

"Listen, i don't want to argue with you for some stupid reason...you came here for your girlfriend, take her leave me alone' 

Sid picked his things. 

"Weasel' muttered rihan turned on roli's side. 

"Let's go honey' he grabs roli's wrist. 

"No..No...' roli shoved him away before ran to sid and hugged him from behind circling her arms around his waist. 

Sid halted in his place gasping loudly in surprise while riya shocked seeing the sight. 

"Please sidhant, i don't know who he is? It's all my friend shika's idea. She told me to make you jealous, i even don't know his name. It was her who told me his name! Stop him, please stop him. I won't play like this....please sidhant' whines roli frantically. 

"What the heck roli?...' shouts rihan removed roli from sid forcefully. Roli stumbled back but stopped by sam before she fall down. 

Sid's face turned red,

"How dare you?...' he seized rihan's collar raised him little from the ground. Rihan grabbed sid's collar. 

Their forehead touched with each other...

Roli weeps more...

"Someone please stop them' sobs her looking at dhruv and rocky who were watching the boys fight nonchalantly. 

"Stop guys, this is going so long...' airaa shooed rihan and sid away. The angry look in sid and rihan's face turned into big smile. 

"How are you man?...' Sid hugged rihan with a laugh dazing roli. 

"Good buddy you?...' asks rihan patting sid's back. 

"What's-What's going on here?...' shuttered roli in confusion plus shock. 

"Rihan, Sidhant and me are childhood friends roli' confessed airaa pulling roli's soul out. 

Sid broke the hug to see roli,

"Boyfriend? Rihan ahuja?...' smirks him walking near her.
