Chapter 26

Sid heard the entrance door opening sound. He rose up and stood on his feet. The door cracked open,

"What the hell did y...roli?..' sid ran near roli frantically..

"Roli what happened?..' he grabbed her shoulders. His heart throbbed against his chest after finding her bloodshot eyes and weeping sound. 

"Hey? roli? Don't scare me?..'

"he fell in his knees and cried...' whispers her looked into his eyes. 

"I had hurt him so much sidhant' roli burst into tears pressing her forehead sid's chest grabbing his shirt fistful. 

"I made my boy cry so much' sobs roli slowly slides down in her knees. Sid joined with her in the floor,

"Then why did you leave him?' sid strokes her back resting his chin in her shoulder. 

"Sometime he behaves..(she adjusts her throat) behaves exactly like my dad..i don't want my aarav like him. I want him like me, he's like my first child. I love him so much sidhant!' she sobbed pouring tears like rain. 

"You love him this much, then why? Why did you leave him?...'

"He shouldn't have called you po...' she couldn't complete the word. She whines more and raised her head then cupped sid's cheeks,

"You're not poor, Money is not everything and it does not determine anyone or their background..this (she nudges her finger in his chest) your heart...your heart is gold Sidhant. No one has rights to call you poor. YOU'RE..NOT..POOR' she emphasized the last sentence pointing her finger at him. 

"Ok roli calm down' 

"I was so angry sidhant, he shouldn't have called you like that but..but he weeped heavily sidhant' 

"Come let's go..let's bring him back' sid wipes her tears. 

"No..le-let him realise his mistake, then we will bring my boy here' says her laid down on his lap. 

"I'm taking leave today'

"you don't have to' 

"I have to for my roli' said him determinedly running his fingers in her hairs. 

AFTERNOON:

"Please roli..at least for our baby girl' pleased sid showing her tablets before her. 

"He always used to make me laugh until i had tears in my eyes then gave me tablets to have because he knew how much i hate to take tablets..i miss my aarav sidhant' roli choked staring the wall. 

Sid placed the tablets in the table and put his head down. Roli found his sad face, she gulped her cry before taking the tablets in her hands.

"Sorry sidhant' she swallowed the tablets and he helped her to drink water. 

"Come roli, let's bring him back' 

"no!' roli nodded her head

"i'm feeling sleepy, make me sleep' asks her blinking her eyelids to remove her blurry image because of tears. 

"Yeah' sid rose up from his place then they both walked towards their room. 

EVENING: 

"Are you sure you wanna come with me?...'

"yes' roli occupied the passenger seat. He smiles little and revved the car engine and started driving towards his ground. 

Roli was in the car and watching sid who was hanging upside down and taking push-ups. She smiles but her smile got disappeared because of the song in her car stereo..

"This is your maamu's favorite song butterfly' whines roli caressing her stomach. 

LATE EVENING:

Rosid's car entered into the house compound. Sid parked the car in the parking lot. He got down first before helping roli to get down. 

"What do you want to have for dinner?..'

"your wis...' roli paused then gasped perplexing sid. 

"What happened roli?...' worried sid wrapping his hand around her shoulder. 

"Aa-Aarav' stammers her looking at her aarav who was sitting near the entrance door. Sid spotted him,

"Aarav?..' sid dropped his dumbbells bag in the ground then rushed near him. Aarav rose up from his place after finding rosid. 

"Hey aarav? Why are sitting outside man? You know where the spare key, right?...'

"Will you forgive me and accept me again?...' asks aarav controlling his burst out. 

"What buddy?..come' sid pulled him for a hug. 

"I'm so sorry, she teased me so much and i showed my anger on you. I shouldn't have behaved like this, sorry!' 

"Stop it..you didn't hurt me' smiles sid stroking his back. 

"Can I call you dad?...' aarav sobbed clutching sid's shirt. Sid's eyes filled with tears,

"Of course-Of course you can' agreed him tapping his shoulder. Roli covered her mouth with her palm and cries silently. 

"Sorry daddyy.. you're so good' 

"you too aarav' sid pulled back. Aarav put his head down,

"Tell her to talk to me, i missed her so much' mumbles him weepingly. 

"She too, go talk yourself' he whispers with a smile. Aarav lifted his head while sid signals him to go near her. He nodded his head slightly before taking steps towards roli. They both looked into each other without speaking anything, 

"I-I-I'm sorry Rowi' 

"Oh godd' roli cries out pulled him inside her arms. Aarav started crying heavily,

"I won't repeat this again...i promise' 

"I'm sorry'

"Don't be rowi mama' says him wetting her shoulder pulling her more closer.  

"Don't forget me' sid pouted his lips. Roli stretched her hand for him. Sid grinned and intertwined his fingers with hers then hugged them. Aarav circled his around sid completing the hug. 

"One sec' aarav excused himself and pulled back. He took something out of his jeans pocket surprising rosid. 

"Why did you sell it? For me? I don't deserve it' a fresh tears scrolls down in aarav's cheeks and he making sid wear the gold medal.

"You deserve everything my buddy' says sid before hugging him again. Roli admires both of them with a smile. 

"I missed this little girl so much' aarav pecked roli's tummy placing his head in her lap. 

"She too..she too missed her crazy maamu' chuckled roli running her fingers in his hairs. 

"By the way what is rowi?...' queried sid arranging the dining table. 

"This is how he used to call me when he was kid..rowi mama choky, rowi mama sleepy rori (Lori) pese (please), rowi mama this, rowi mama that...bla bla' sid and aarav giggled at her action soon roli too joined with them. 

Days are passing well....

Roli is in her third trimester, Sid and Aarav were taking care of her like anything annoying her then and there. 

"Don't walk around, call me if anything you want. Tell aarav to heat food before you eat..'

"God save me' whines roli placing her hand above her belly enjoying her daughter's movements. Sid chuckles,

"Ok Ok, don't go mad..I'm going take care ok' sid kissed her forehead. 

"Please, behave like one baby's father' said roli pulled him closer and locked his lips with hers. 

"You're not so innocent ok? If you're innocent this girl would never have been in my stomach...' says her in inside his mouth making him laugh. 

Sid was on the way to his office. He saw a car had been collided with another car and people around it. Sid slow downed his bike,

"Shit' hollered him halted his bike before jumping from it. 

"Sir..' he rushed near jamunlal who was laying in the stretcher in a very bad condition. 

"Sir..Sir...' Sid held his forehead to stop the oozing blood. Though jamunlal heard his voice but he couldn't respond sid. 

"Who are you?' questioned nurse pushing the stretcher inside the ambulance. 

"I'm-I'm his son in...' sid paused recalling jamunlal's words...

"Sir?...who are you to him?..'

"I'm his neighbor' he lied then entered into the ambulance with jamunlal. 

"Roli..Roli...don't panic! Just calm down ok?..shhh' Sid speaks over the mobile trying to console roli who was crying after hearing the news from sid. 

"I'm here roli..don't cry! Tell aarav to drive carefully and...'

"Sir?..' he got interrupted by the nurse. 

"will call you later roli' he hung up the call,

"Yes?..'

"sir we need O- blood, we don't have st...'

"Take mine, i'm O-' said sid. 

"That's great, come with me sir' she rushed him inside the room. 

PRECAP:

Roli shouts in pain while aarav cries along with her standing outside of the labour room. 

Sid was in the train sitting restlessly trying roli's number.
