Part - 42

The next morning..

When roli got up, she didn't find sid in room. But, there was a cover with a note kept beside her on bed. 

"Get ready and come down. No more questions" roli read the note. 

Roli smiled and opened the cover to find a red colour saree in it. And as per her Sid's request, which was more looked like an order, roli got ready wearing that saree. 

The saree was simple with a golden border, yet it made roli to look even more beautiful. She left her hair completely open as she neatly combed them. Then she wore a golden earings that matched with her simple yet elegant necklace, which she found in the same cover. 

When roli reached downstairs, she was surprised to find mausiji, sunny, rahul, sameer, saket and pratap. 

Sid was wearing a white shirt, pairing with a dark blue jeans, turned to look at her and was dumbfounded. Though it wasn't his first time to see her in saree, but the moment made him to feel special. 

"Roli... My sherni" mausiji hugged roli as soon as she reached her. 

"What's happening?" Roli asked as she broke the hug and looked at all. 

"Roli weds siddhant"sunny said in a dramatic way. "..That's what gonna happen now" he continued, excitedly.

Roli was surprised as she looked at sid, who was still lost in her. 

"Bhai.." sunny called sid, helping him to come back to his senses. 

"You've to be thankful to me" sunny said, looking at sid.

"Why so?" Sid got confused. 

"Today you both are together because of me. If it wasn't for me then roli wouldn't have turned to you again after your first meet. I really can't forget that epic day, when I found my bhai tongue tied for the first time" sunny laughed out as he said. 

"But, bhaiya.. you said he's a businessman. You lied to me back then" roli made a fake pout at him. 

"Arey roli.. it wasn't totally a lie though. Bhai is actually a businessman, he looks after his family business but nobody knows that. So, I didn't lie to you, alright" said sunny as if justifying himself. 

As sunny said, soon after sid completing his studies, he started taking care of his family business, which was given to lease all the while. While at the same time he was taking trying for his police job and soon he happened to enter into dark underground world. So, nobody ever knew him as a business person. 

"And bhai this is unfair. You know we all have planned so many things for your marriage but, you suddenly arranged it even without letting us know" sunny complained with a pout. 

"It's okay. You can implement those plans in your marriage" sid replied with a casual smile.

"Yeah. Nidhi would be super happy" added rahul in a teasing tone. 

"Wait.. nidhi?" Roli looked at them with a confused expression as she didn't get what they were talking about. 

"Roli, don't tell me that your dearest bhaiya didn't tell you about your bhabhi" sid took the opportunity of teasing sunny to the fullest. 

"Bhaiya.." roli looked at sunny, raising her eyebrow. 

"I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to hide it but.. I think I forgot to tell you" sunny said, making a puppy face. 

"Since when and how? I want to know about her, right now" roli almost ordered. 

"It's almost two years now. She's the only daughter of one of the officers in our department. At present, she's studying in mumbai and may return after one year or so. And yeah, all thanks to my bhai that he made her parents accept our relationship" perhaps the first time sunny said something in all seriousness. 

"Then I've to wait to meet her" roli said like a kid.

"That's enough now. We're getting late for their marriage" mausiji said, keeping full stop to their talks. 

Sid walked up to roli and forwarded his hand as if asking her hand, which roli gave into his with a smile. 

They both sat in the small mandap, which was arranged in middle of the hall. 

Pandit started to chant mantras. While all stood around them, being as happy as they could be. 

A little while later, sid filled roli's hairline with a pinch of vermilion. Roli closed her eyes as her heart filled with unexplainable happiness. Soon her neck was adored with mangalsutra, making her to feel the joy of being his, her siddhant's forever! 

The whole day, house was filled with smiles, laughter's and happiness as they all celebrated the marriage. And it continued until almost the late evening. 

After having dinner, one by one all started to leave the bharadwaj house. 

"Siddhant, take care of your wife" mausiji said in an ordering tone and left with sunny. They were the ones to leave last as everyone else have already left. 

Roli went to her room while sid was caught up by a phone call in hall. 

After he was done with the call, he got into his room, where he found roli sitting near mirror and caressing her mangalsutra. 

Sid slowly moved near her, bent down on his knees and kept his chin on her right shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her. 

"I'm sorry.." sid slowly whispered in her ears. 

Roli turned to look at him in confusion. As sid got her mind, he said "I know you must have planned a lot for our marriage but, I didn't fulfill any of them and we got married in a simple manner, so..". 

When sid stopped, roli smiled at him and said "it never mattered for me of how we got married, as long as you're with me and we both are together". Then she locked her pinkie finger with his. 

Sid's lips curled up into smile as he tightly held her pinkie finger. He then closed his eyes and back hugged her tightly, enjoying their closeness. 

"but it's all your fault that we got married so simply. If you hadn't kept pillows in middle then I wouldn't have rushed to get married so suddenly" sid said calmly, which made roli to open her eyes wide in shock.

"So.. this is the reason of our marriage?" roli asked, faking a serious expression. 

"not actually but.. may be" sid replied with a smile. 

"You.." before roli could complete, sid held her index finger, which she flashed at him and moved closer to her. 

"Then do you think I would allow you to stay away from me" sid stopped after reaching just a little away from her face. 

Soon his eyes drawn down from her eyes to lips. But, before he could reach her lips, roli kept her finger on his lips, making him to stop. 

Sid looked at her, annoyed with the disturbance. Whilst roli nodded as 'no' with a smile. Then she slightly pushed him and got up to run away. 

But, sid quickly reacted and held wrist, pulling her towards him.
