After seeing the joy on her face, I felt as if I had discovered millions of hidden treasures. As I drove my car, I felt more enthused, cool breezes touched my face, and I closed my eyes, it felt as if her floating hair in the air was caressing my skin. Even her single glance was enough to tickle my nerves. I wanted to swim in the deepest part of her soul.

“Have you topped in your college? Why are you dancing like crazily?’’My father asked Sarcastically

“It’s nothing related to my study” I replied to him. If he asked me another day I felt disgusted but today despite his every mocking against me I did not be irritated not only for a second.

“Agar itna hi mood acha hai toh todha bahut office mein bhi jaya karo, mera itna bada emperor tumhe hi sambhal na hai?”

I did not say anything simply ignore him

He left the room after showering after his boring lectures as usual.

“Poor, Old man, who does not understand love”I remarked

I was playing guitar in my room and kissing to Sanyogita's earring, DD[My grandfather] came into my room I was taken aback by his presence, seeing me in a romantic mood. He smiled at me.
I kept the guitar on my bed , welcoming him to take a seat beside me.

He asked me “Who is that girl, my boy ”

His question made me blush “No Dadu there is nothing!”

“DD, hoon tera, bahut dino se noticed kar raha hoon tujhe”
I caught

‘’Chal ab bata kab milega,”?
‘But at first you should have promised me You would not tell anything about this to Grandma and someone else in this house”

“Okay, beta,ab bata, who is she?”

“I will tell you everything but a few days later”
He rubbed my back after I came out of my room because my friends called out for me.

I found Sanyogita was eating panipuri with her friend at a stall,I also stopped there but not that stall a little bit away from where I noticed her.I requested Risav to accompany me, but he demanded 4 bottles of Vodka ,

“Keep going, bhaiya.” said the panipuri wale

I could not catch his point at first then said

“You are bound to get her, one day ,I,too, loved a girl when I was your age,”
“Did you get her to love you?’’I asked him
“No, she got me beaten up by her brothers,’ he laughed .
I stopped Smiling
Risav suggested to me”Prithvi, at first try to collect some piece of information does she has a brother or not?’’
“Why ?’’
“Because perhaps as like punipuriwalas’ love story you can also be beaten by her brothers,” he starts laughing
“Shut up, Risav” I said disgustingly

It was another day when I saw Sanyogita talking with her friend Radhika. She was looking very upset,
I had come to know by the conversation that somebody had stolen her 3 lacs money from their house last night. As those were required for her semester fees. She started to cry, I was feeling bad for my girl, yes now she is my girl though she wasn't even aware of the existence of her lover who would go to the end of the world only sake of her to make her happy.

She told Radhika that she wanted to sell the gold bracelet which her father gave her. I had also seen that on the college function day. She was looking very sad, Oh! God that killed me, I couldn't see her like that.

After college, I spotted Sanyogita visiting a jewelry shop. She carefully selected a beautiful case and examined its contents before leaving the store. My curiosity piqued, I entered the shop, inquiring about the bracelet she had admired. The shopkeeper initially showed me other designs, but I insisted on seeing the exact piece Sanyogita had chosen.

"I want the same bracelet she looked at," I said firmly.

The shopkeeper raised an eyebrow, seemingly taken aback by my request. However, after I offered to pay double the price and promised discretion, he reluctantly agreed to sell me the bracelet.

A few days later, I enlisted the help of a local boy to deliver the bracelet to Sanyogita. I handed him the gift, along with the payment, and instructed him to give it to her personally.

As the boy approached Sanyogita's house, I hid myself, observing from a distance. Sanyogita emerged from her room, curious about the boy's presence. She asked him who had sent the gift, but the boy simply turned around, unable to find me. His mother called him away, and he ran off, leaving Sanyogita with the mysterious gift.

Sanyogita's hands trembled as she opened the envelope, her eyes widening in shock. She hastily retreated to her room, the contents of the envelope spilling onto her bed. The bracelet and case lay before her, accompanied by a letter that made her heart skip a beat.

"Hello Sanyogita,

Jo cheez tumhe pasand, wo tumse dur rahe, yaisa nahi ho sakta. (Whatever you like can't be away from you.) My heart aches thinking of you being apart from the things that bring you joy. That's why I'm returning your bracelet and this case to you. Please don't say no, accept this small token of my affection.

As I saw you admiring the bracelet, I knew in that moment, it belonged to you. Your smile lit up the room, and my heart skipped a beat. I wanted to be the one to put that smile on your face, to be the reason for your happiness.

All the best for your exam, but know that you'll always have a special place in my heart. I hope this small gesture brings a smile to your face and reminds you that you're not alone.

Tumhara naya dost (Your new friend)"

Tears welled up in Sanyogita's eyes as she read the heartfelt message. The anonymous gift-giver had returned her beloved bracelet and case, along with a thoughtful note. She felt a deep connection to this mysterious person, who seemed to understand her in ways no one else did.

With trembling hands, Sanyogita picked up the bracelet and case, holding them close to her heart. She felt a sense of gratitude and wonder, her mind racing with questions about the identity of her new friend.

Sanyogita rushed to the jewelry shop, her heart racing with anticipation. She burst through the door, her eyes scanning the familiar surroundings as she approached the shopkeeper.

"Please, you have to tell me," she implored, her voice laced with desperation. "Who bought my bracelet? I need to know."

The shopkeeper, a kind-eyed old man, looked up from his work, his expression sympathetic but firm.

"I'm sorry, beta," he said, using the Hindi term for "child." "I wish I could help, but I've already told you, I'm bound by my promise. I can't reveal anything."

Sanyogita's face fell, her eyes welling up with tears. She had been so sure that the shopkeeper would crack under her pleading gaze.

"Please," she begged, her voice cracking. "It's my last hope. I need to know who did this."

The shopkeeper sighed, his expression softening. "I understand, beta, but my hands are tied. I don't have CCTV footage, and even if I did, I couldn't show it to you. Only the police can access such information."

Sanyogita's shoulders slumped in defeat, her eyes dropping to the floor. She knew she had reached a dead end.

........

Sanyogita left the shop, feeling defeated and frustrated. She wandered the streets, her mind racing with questions. Who was this mysterious person? Why were they being so kind to her? And why did they insist on remaining anonymous?

As she walked, she stumbled upon a small park. She sat down on a bench, trying to clear her mind. But her thoughts kept drifting back to the letters and gifts.

Suddenly, she remembered a phrase from the last letter: "Tumhara naya dost" - Your new friend. She smiled, feeling a sense of hope. Maybe this person was someone she could trust, someone who truly cared for her.

With renewed determination, Sanyogita decided to write a letter back to her mysterious friend. She wanted to thank them, to tell them how much their kindness meant to her.

She found a stationery shop and bought a pen and paper. As she wrote, she poured out her heart, expressing her gratitude and curiosity.

Sanyogita sat in the library, surrounded by dusty shelves and whispering students. She pulled out a piece of paper and began to write:

"Dear New Friend,

I don't know where to start. Your kindness has touched my heart in ways I never thought possible. I feel seen and heard in a way I never have before. I long to meet you, to thank you in person, but I understand if that's not possible.

Yours friend
Sanyogita"

She finished writing, folded the paper, and placed it between the pages of a romance novel. She knew her mysterious friend would find it, just as she knew he would follow her to the library.

As she left the library, Sanyogita felt a sense of excitement and nervousness.
What would happen next? Would her friend respond? And what would happen if they met in person?

Unbeknownst to her, Prithvi watched her leave from across the room. He waited until the coast was clear before approaching the bookshelf. He found the letter, his heart racing as he read Sanyogita's words.

He responded by writing a letter of his own, pouring out his heart to her. He chose a new book, a love story with a beautiful cover, and placed his letter inside.

Prithvi's eyes lit up as he read Sanyogita's letter, his heart racing with excitement. But when he saw the words "Dear New Friend", he felt a pang of disappointment. Why did she still consider him just a friend?

However, as he continued reading, his disappointment turned to joy. Sanyogita's words were filled with affection and gratitude, and she seemed to genuinely care for him.

When he responded, he poured out his heart, telling her how much he longed to meet her, to hold her hand and tell her how he felt. He signed off as "Your New Friend", hoping that soon, he could be more than just a friend to her -–

As he placed the letter in the book-- a beautiful love story with a cover that seemed to whisper promises. He couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, Sanyogita felt the same way.

The next day, Sanyogita's fingers danced across the book spines, searching for the familiar title. As she opened the book, Prithvi's letter slipped out, carrying the whispers of his heart. Her own heart skipped a beat, her soul resonating with the emotions that poured out of the page.

But for now, she was content with their secret exchanges, their own little world of words and emotions. And as she smiled to herself, she knew that she would always treasure this special connection with her mysterious friend.

**********

Sanyogita sat alone on a weathered bench, her gaze drifting toward the sky as if searching for answers among the wispy clouds. A gentle breeze rustled her hair, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers. Her lips curved into a soft, enigmatic smile, lost in thought.

Radhika's voice broke the spell, her footsteps crunching on the gravel path. "Kya Baat hai, akele bethe bethe muskura kyu rahi hai?" she asked, plopping down beside Sanyogita.

Sanyogita's eyes refocused, her smile faltering for a moment before she replied, "Tu kab aye?" Her voice was laced with a hint of distraction.

Radhika's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Bahut pehle, but aai bata, why are you blushing?" She nudged Sanyogita playfully.

Sanyogita's cheeks flushed deeper, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her dress. "No nothing, bas aise hi," she stammered, attempting to brush it off.

Radhika's gaze narrowed, her eyes glinting with excitement. "Something is cooking," she exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sanyogita's smile resurfaced, and she couldn't contain it anymore. She spilled everything – the gifts, the money, the bracelet, and the heartfelt letters from her mysterious friend. Radhika listened, entranced, as the story unfolded like a fairy tale.

Radhika's eyes sparkled with excitement as she turned to Sanyogita. "Hm, Sanyo, I think he likes you! Why else would he write a song for you, followed by gifts and this beautiful bracelet?"

Sanyogita's cheeks flushed, her mind racing with possibilities. "I don't know, but whoever he is, he's definitely from our college. He's always there for me, appearing when I need help the most."

Radhika's brow furrowed in puzzlement. "But if he likes you, why hasn't he come forward? Why the secrecy?"

Sanyogita's smile was enigmatic. "Maybe he's shy, or maybe he doesn't think he's good enough. But I don't care about any of that, Radhika. I know that whoever he is, he has a beautiful heart, a pure soul."

Radhika's eyes widened in awe. "You're so right, Sanyo! You're not judging him by his appearance or his actions; you're seeing the real him. That's what matters most."

As I hid behind the tree, I couldn't help but overhear their conversation. Sanyogita's words were like a gentle breeze on a summer day, soothing and uplifting. When she spoke of me, her mysterious admirer, my heart swelled with joy. I felt like I was walking on air, my soul dancing to the rhythm of her voice.

At that moment, I knew I was irretrievably in love. It's as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. I felt her presence in every whisper of the wind, every ray of sunlight, every gentle lapping of the waves. Even the chirping of birds and the tinkling of temple bells seemed to echo her name.

Some might call me crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. For I knew that I had found my soulmate in Sanyogita. She was the sunshine to my sunflower, the missing piece that made me whole. I was willing to be crazy a million times over for her, for my first love.

"Sanyogita, I love you," I whispered to myself, the words tumbling out like a prayer. "I love you beyond the sky, beyond the stars. And I know you're my destiny, my forever.

Today is her birthday, yes my girl’s birthday,

Sanyogita got the letter but today not from the hand of a boy, she got this by the door of their house in the early morning, she saw a cute puppy in a basket with flowers and a card, she became surprised, she open the card and found a letter

"Hello Sanyogita,

Wish you a very happy birthday, my sunshine! May this day be as bright and beautiful as you are. Many many happy returns of the day.

As I write this, I'm filled with so much joy and gratitude, thinking about the gift you are to my life. You light up my world like a million stars in a clear night sky. Your presence is a gentle breeze that soothes my soul, a warm embrace that chases away all fears.

You are the melody that fills my heart with music, the rhythm that makes me whole. You are the sunshine that filters through the trees, illuminating every dark corner of my life. Your laughter is a symphony that breaks through the silence, a sweet serenade that fills my days with delight.

In a world full of chaos, you are my clarity, my beacon of hope. You are the reason I wake up with a smile, the reason I fall asleep with a heart full of dreams.

Once again, happy birthday ! May this day be just the beginning of a year filled with laughter, adventure, and joy. Stay happy, keep smiling, and know that you are loved more than words can express.

Tumhara naya dost
Always yours,
Secret lover 💗

As Sanyogita finished reading the letter, her heart skipped a beat. The words danced in her mind, filling her with a warm, fuzzy feeling. She felt like she was floating on air, her soul soaring with joy.

"Always yours, Secret Lover," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Tears of happiness pricked at the corners of her eyes as she gazed at the letter, her heart overflowing with emotion. She felt seen, heard, and loved in a way she never had before.

Sanyogita's hands trembled as she held the letter, her fingers tracing the words as if to memorize them forever. She felt a deep connection to this mysterious person, this secret lover who had captured her heart with his beautiful words.

"Who are you?" she wondered, her mind racing with possibilities. "Why do you hide behind secrets and letters?"

But for now, she didn't care. All she knew was that she felt loved, truly loved, for the first time in her life.

With a smile on her face and a song in her heart, Sanyogita folded the letter and placed it in her pocket, feeling the words close to her heart. She knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey, one that would change her life forever.

Sanyogita entered her room, still basking in the warmth of the letter's words. Radhika burst in at 9 o'clock, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Sanyo, what's up? You look like you're walking on clouds!"

Sanyogita's hands fluttered as she tried to contain her emotions. "Radz, you won't believe what happened. I got another letter... and a puppy!"

Radhika's eyes widened. "A puppy? Oh my god, that's adorable! But tell me more about the letter."

Sanyogita's voice trembled as she shared every word, every sentiment. Radhika listened, entranced, her face reflecting a mix of surprise and delight.

"Hm, bapre, lagta hai he loves you, Sanyo," Radhika said, her voice filled with conviction. "But tera ashiq todha alag hai."

Sanyogita's smile faltered, her mind whirling with doubts. "Why do you say that?"

Radhika shrugged. "Because instead of choosing the internet, he sends you letters. It's old-school, but so romantic!"

Sanyogita's gaze drifted away, her thoughts consumed by the word "lover". Did he truly love her? And what about her own feelings?

Sanyogita's eyes locked onto Radhika's, her voice barely above a whisper. "And this time, he signed off as 'Always yours, Secret Lover'."

Radhika's jaw dropped, her eyes widening in shock. "Whoa, that's intense! He's definitely serious about you, Sanyo."

Sanyogita's mind raced with conflicting emotions - excitement, fear, and uncertainty. "I don't know, Radz. This is all so sudden. What if he's just playing with my feelings?"

Radhika's expression turned thoughtful. "I don't think so, Sanyo. He's gone to great lengths to show you he cares. The letters, the gifts... it's all so romantic."

But Sanyogita's doubts lingered. "What if I don't feel the same way? What if I'm just caught up in the fantasy of it all?"

Radhika's voice was reassuring. "You'll figure it out, Sanyo. Just enjoy the ride and see where it takes you. But be careful, too. You don't know anything about him."

Sanyogita nodded, her heart still racing with uncertainty. She felt like she was standing at a crossroads, unsure which path to take.
