And Still, I Rise To The Occasion The morning dawned, silent and mournful, as though the world had ended last night. The sun was still resolutely below the horizon and the surroundings were shrouded in gray as if the darkness was yet to wake up from the night's deep sleep to walk off from the sight. Sorry for a late reply. Been unwell lately... Anyways, coming to the chapter... It is absolutely awesome Madhuri... I myself could feel the emotions. The sadness, the grief of the loss of Anu's entire family. Anu's situation was totally heartbreaking... The way you described the entire scene and her situation made it even more realistic. I don't have words now to praise your excellence. The title of the chapter is also perfectly appropriate. Kudos to you for such a fabulous work. I just loved it. Looking forward to the next chapter...

This is a class act, Madi! The compelling narrative, your story telling, throbbing imagery make a siege on the senses and transform this chapter into a rivetting read! How heart breaking was Anu's response and the metaphors you used accentuated her angst! The glint in her eyes to chin up and live for her grandchildren was a very tender but gut wrenching moment. The whole chapter, there is nothing to mitigate but everything to exacerbate the elements of drama. Superb, kudos to you for this marvel of a chapter, looking forward to the resolution now!

A well-written chapter Madi. Heart-wrenching, at last Anu, knew the sad demise of her husband and Tapati, that scene was really sorrowful, difficult to describe. Waiting for the next chapter.
