PART 10

        If Arnav thought that yesterday night would make Khushi to behave normal to him, he is highly mistaken. The first thing he did was saying good morning to Khushi in the morning which was blatantly ignored and she didn't see his face. Gosh her mood swings are more pathetic than a pregnant woman. At least pregnant women have a specific time period until when they have those mood swings. Her ignorance one day kills him and when he least expects, she comes to him and says few good words. He is becoming impatient earlier it was a strict hatred from her and he has accepted that but this hot and cold stuff is getting on his nerves. Her therapist always says patience is the mantra. Damn, if he don't like something in this world that is patience. Damn with this patience and damn with these doctors, they don't understand how to treat.

           Anyways does life stop because he is hurt, does life stops because his heart aches or does life stop its tandem with his mood, life must go on and he has to start to Mumbai. He never had planned to go to Mumbai until that NK has announced his program to visit them. After Khushi denial to accompany him, he didn't want to go but then he has already informed the client. Great to know nothing is in his hands when it comes to one crazy soul who is sitting there with NK with those innocent hazel eyes, naughty smile and honestly who carries his heart.

          Just today morning she ignored him like he doesn't exist and now she smiled at him. He will go mad thinking what will she do next? But somehow he knows it is because of Payal, she is behaving formal to him after that ignoring episode. Looks like it is not somehow it is confirmed because of Payal, Khushi is behaving again normal with him. Payal should understand no one can force. Oh but can he say that to Payal? Nope because he remembers he said to Payal that his patience is running out and he also remembers how he behaved with her in Haridwar return train trip. Uff complicated life. What were his confident words then yeah enough of this patience let me handle her in my own way and Khushi loves that Arnav and I will behave in that way. If he says a word to Payal now, she will damn repeat the same words to him.

          As it is his mood is off because he has to leave Mumbai without Khushi and leaving her with that stupid NK and then secondly his Khushi is not talking to him properly. He expected a normalcy after yesterday night. He was astonished when she came to his room and initiated a conversation and sat by him without any force. This is the first time she took initiation to talk to him after 2 years. With a sulking mood he set himself to leave for the flight. Of course it wouldn't happen without that mood out goodbye which he hates. When he came to the living area to leave and say good bye he has seen two more suitcases and damn his Bp raised. It means that Khushi is also coming to Mumbai even after his denial and that NK is also accompanying them.

          Arnav "Khushi I told you and he was cut off just like that by Akash bhai

          Akash "Chote take Khushi and NK with you. Khushi has few shopping list and NK wants to accompany with her. I am not ready to send her alone with anyone except you. You can take care of her.

          NK "Nannav mera bhai shall we start?

          Arnav ignoring NK and Khushi completely "Bhai I will order someone to bring all her shopping list. It's not necessary for both of them to travel. As it is I haven't booked any tickets for them.

          Akash "Chote don't worry about that. Gudiya and NK tickets are booked. I did that.

         Can the day be worse than this? NK and Khushi get time to spend all day together in his suite and shop together when he has to attend that boring meeting. It's not that he doesn't trust Khushi or NK, it's just pure jealous from his side. The ride from house to airport has been extremely awkward with Khushi sleeping, NK banter and his fuming. At least its better she is sleeping or if they both continuously chat and it will irritate hell out of him.

         "What the hell is this NK? Why you both are booked in economic class? How did bhai agree for this? I can understand stupidity and idiocity of Khushi agreeing for this but how did you convince bhai for that? Irritated Arnav pounced on NK.

           NK "Nannav mera bhai we both wanted to enjoy the trip as commoners and frankly business class is so bland and boring; we don't get to meet people. Economic class is good, we feel we are with people.

           Arnav fumed some more and didn't agree for any explanations NK said and asked for 2 seats up gradation and to his bad luck there are no seats available anymore in business class and he cant leave both of them in economic class because he don't trust Khushi with anyone except him and Payal. With no option left he has changed his ticket to economic class. Great Arnav singh raizada traveling in economic class to Mumbai, hope no journalist see him and make this as some gossip story how they are saving funds and blah blah blah.

         When NK left to bring some snacks for them, Khushi informed him that "NK is very hurt for Anjali Di words of free loader and one plus one gift sarcastic comment. He doesn't want to take anymore favors from Raizada people. Please don't get annoyed on him Arnav. He really felt bad. Anjali Di speaks sometimes extreme and he felt bad for that. He has self-respect Arnav and sometimes we are hurt with our own people take such digs on us.

        "Is it why you were annoyed in the morning? Didn't even answer my greetings in the morning Khushi? He couldn't help it but asked

             She didn't know what to answer. She knows why she did that but doesn't know how to explain. Frankly she couldn't even explain to Payal jiji when she scolded her for being so rude again to Arnav. She never wants to hurt Arnav but then who can control her mind and heart which oscillates between yes and no with him. She tried hard ignoring him but couldn't happen. She feels for him and damn it she loves him but then something is struck in past that she is unable to move on. She wanted to spend time with him and at the same time wants to irritate him. No one understands her, frankly not even her. Her therapist says maybe she wants Arnav and her to feel the pain they caused to others. May be she don't know but she takes all her frustration on him. She somehow feels very much responsible for what happened before. And it is not just because of that she stopped talking to Arnav. She is like this. With the whole world she can adjust but then with family she fights and gets her right. She has been always like this. One thing she can never see is Arnav being extremely hurt and sad. She knows even if he didn't show yesterday he was so sad because he got to know his mother is someone else and has seen her pic first time.

            When it comes to her family she will demand, cry and crib for getting her things. And Arnav is one person with whom she can go to any extreme in fighting because she knows he will come back and take all the frustration she has in minutes just like her mom, dad, jiji, raj bhaiyya, akash bhai,NK and oops how can she forget Anjali Di. It is not that she doesn't love others. She loves Dadi, nani, mami, mama and for that matter Arnav's mom and dad too but she is not that comfortable with them. Everyone treats her a kid and immature and give in to her demands, its only arnav who argues with her and make her see others view point. She sees Arnav as her equal but Arnav never treated her equal. He always thinks she is immature, kiddish and idiotic. Yep she is all that but then she has the sensible side and everyone knows that.

             Arnav knows Khushi either likes window seat or aisle seat and he wouldn't force himself like before sitting in the middle and disturbing two friends. Disturbing two friends he just sounded like disturbing two lovers... Man he don't want that. He sat near the window seat and kept the ball in Khushi court if she wants to sit with him, she will sit. She has to decide her priorities, it's high time she has to come out of that shell whatever she built across her. It is his character to be broody, grumpy, moody and that stubborn to get things done. It is not at all suiting Khushi. Whenever he used to be grumpy, moody or stubborn on any family members she used to cheer him up and used to solve his problem in minutes. This is so different where she took his characteristic traits and he has to bear the brunt.

              To his surprise Khushi sat next to him but then she was so much into eating, chatting with NK and those stupid programs coming on the screen. He got irritated and to irritate Khushi more has started the horror click he saved in his laptop. He knows she dislikes horror and Lol it's so funny to watch her after she watches a horror click.

            As expected she glared him and said "Arnav for just one hour why did you start your laptop? Agreed we can use our electronic equipment's but then for necessary purposes, not for watching stupid dramas and why actually you want to see horror flicks now? Don't you want to attend the meeting? She kept on ranting until Arnav challenged her "You are afraid, aren't you? Accept it Khushi you can't do this. And he knows when challenged she will watch it and he can at least distract her from NK attention and get her attention to him. She has watched it for few minutes but then stood up abruptly saying need to us wash room.

       Both NK and Arnav have laughed whole heartedly when Khushi left for the loo. Both remembered the first time Khushi actually watched a horror flick.

Flash back start

          Their parents restricted them until they turn to 10 at least to watch a horror film. When Khushi turned 10 she wanted to watch it as all said it is thrilling and wonderful experience. She wanted to experience it but then Garima aunty said you are afraid of the dark only and afraid of being alone, so no horror for you until you turns 12. When she turned 12 her first birthday gift she asked is watching a horror movie and all sat near the projector they bought recently to watch the movie. She has watched just 5 mins and has started crying and saying it is so scary.

        She couldn't stand all making fun of her state and being a competitive spirit she is has watched the whole movie but with some ears closing and eyes closing here and there. In between she has kept the newspaper to hide but has watched it. All observed it but then kept quiet as she is first time watcher. Once the movie is finished the real fun began she has made sure the whole house to be in one room and still didn't sleep and kept on chanting devi maiyaa, devi maiyaa the whole night.

          The next day morning is no different, even for going to washroom she made scene which was so funny. He did few funny things saying don't go there and here. They were just trying to cheer her up and irritate a little. When they went to school, Arnav said don't go to locker as their might be a chance something might come there. She actually got afraid and to her bad luck when she went to locker, one she was alone and second power has gone. She was so scared and shouted like hell and ran to him and hugged as if her life dependent on that hug alone. She was just 12 years old and didn't know what it makes to hug a person but he is 17 years and knows the difference in the reaction of body what it makes a girl and boy hugs then. He was so uncomfortable and felt perverted to have crush on 12 years old. But then what is called as childhood love story man, 18 years is not child hood sweet heart.

                  He made fun few more times to scare and used to enjoy when she used to run to him and hug and in one of such naughty times Raj bhaiyya has advised him "See me and Anjali are also child hood sweet hearts. I am not denying that you both like each other and probably in future might be lovers but she is just 12 years old and don't know many things because she herself is childish to understand few things, you are matured and I have high expectations from you. You have to protect gudiya in my absence. There is a time for these little hugs and kisses in future chote... lets save for that time.

                   From then he followed whatever his Raj bhaiyya said because Arnav never can disappoint Raj bhaiyaa he likes him a lot. The teasing has really stopped in the house only when Khushi got fever and they understood the gravity of her fear. From then no one teased her.

Flash back end

     When both of them came of out their past incidents Arnav was first one to respond "NK you are always family, never take Di words seriously.

        Both of them know in what context he said but they didn't discuss further. Just a nod from NK and small smile from Arnav they know the matter ended there

        "You know Nannav I never had a chance, so stop being grumpy, idiotic and jealous. NK said

        Both know he is talking about Khushi but before Arnav can continue the discussion Khushi came back and sat in between and both of them laughed at her expense seeing her so frustrated and her face turned red due to the fear. Before it can turn nasty both got involved in cracking jokes and making her comfortable.
