Chapter 7 – Plan or Moving Forward

Anurag knew very well that Mr Bajaj keeps his eye on everything so he wanted to be careful about his meeting with Menaka Bose. He would get one chance. He had thought about everything. 

Mr and Mrs Bajaj room

“Kaisa feel kar rahin hain Me Bajaj?”

“I am good but today I have to go as I have some work.”

“Something important”

“Aaj court main case hain Mr Base ke murder charges ka”

Prerna looked worried.

“Don’t worry I will handle everything. Mr Basu ki family kokuch pata nahin chalega and nahi Mr Basu ko kuch hoga.”

“Aur Aap?"

Rishab was a bit happy to see her concern.

"Agar Basu badi main kuch nahin hoga to aap apne aap ko innocent kaise prove karenge”

“Main Sambhal lunga. Aap mat socheye. Yeh kya hain?”

“Aaj maa ka birthday hain so I thought I will go and meet her. Magar mujhe patta nahin mai koi tamasha nahin karna chahti aur aaj ka din unke liye ruin nahin karna chahati”

“Family hain who aapki jakar miliye unse. Risk to har jagah uthana padta hain. Tamasha hua to din kharab hoga but agar who khush hue to you will get to spend some quality time with them”

Then he did the sign for a weight measure and questioned her to make a decision.

Just then they heard a shout – “Anurag ! Anu!!”

They came downstairs when Mohini was shouting

“Yeh kya hain tumse case kyun wapis liya. Us aadmi ne tumhe marne ki koshish ki aur tumne uske khilaf case wapis le liya.”

“Haan because I am making a choice to move on. Aaj se Durga Puja suru honewali hain and its time that we all move on. Kisiko ko pane se jyada zaroori is waqt hume yeh hain ki hum apna ghar bachaye. Jin logo ko hamari kadar hain un logo ka saath nibhaye.”

Mohini Basu was so happy to hear all this and even Prerna felt relieved that Anurag was finally moving on. Mr.Bajaj was not at all convinced but let it go seeing the peace on Prerna face.

“I guess ab mujhe court jane ki koi zaroorat nahin hain.Waise Prerna min ek din ke liye bahar jar aha hoon mujhe kaam hain. Aap sabsambhal lengi”

“Aap mujhe Maa ke ghar pe chod denge. Pros cons kabhi bade hain and I think I will take the risk.” And she did the same sign as he had done.

Mr.Bajaj dropped her off.

Prerna Family was shocked to see her there but welcomes her never the less.  

“Happy Birthday Ma and she gave her the gift”

“Khush lag rahi hoon.”

“Haan iska pati jo aaj chuth gaya”

Prerna was shocked to see Mohini Basu standing behind her.

“Baat kana chahti thi main tumse but then I saw you left with you husband so I thought I will meet you here.”

“Kakki Maa please yahan nahin aur aaj nahin.”

“Kyun tum log hamare parivaar ka har function kharab karte hoon aur main kuch bhi na karo. Tumhara pati mere bete ko marne ki koshish karta hain hamara ghar pe kabza karke betha hain aur main kuch na kaho. Kitni andhi ho gayi ho tum Prerna Paise ke age tumhe kuch nahin dikhta. Waise galti tumhari nahin hain tum to Naveen babu ke saath hi suru ho gayi thi to par sanskaar hiaise mile hain.”

Mahesh Prerna brother came and shouted –

“Bas. Aapko logo ko jo tamasha karna hain bahar ja kar kijiye yeh mera ghar hain and main apni maa ka din barbad karna nahin chahta. Prerna Please I know ki tum maa se bahut pyaar karti hoon but please aaj ke din unhe upset mat karo. Tumhe jo decision lena tha tumne liya ab hume apne haal par chod do”

“Kyun kiya aapne aisa. Jab Anurag khud sab kuch bhula karaage badh raha hai to aap yeh sab kyun kar rahin hain.”

“Anurag aage bad raha hain iska matlab ye nahin ki main apne bete ka dard bhul gayi hoon. I will never forgive you for that. Nahin bhulungi ki tum us Murderer ko us haiwan ki hamari zindagi main lekar aayi hoon.”

“Enough!! aap mere pati ke bare main baar kar rahin hain andI won’t stand a word anymore. Unhe aapki life main main nahin aapka beta lekar aaya. Main chali gayi thi aapka beta aaya usne force kiya Mr.Bajaj ko ki who Basu bari kharide who uljha unse warna already sab kuch chod diya tha Mr.Bajaj ne. Kakki Maa aap badi hain main aapki insult nahin karna chahti lekin agli baar main Mr. Bajaj ki insult bhi bardaast nahin karungi.”

Anurag who had come after his mom heard all this and didn’t like it one bit. He could see that she was changing and he was more than determined to execute everything according to his plan.

Prerna left Sharma Nivas and was walking unknowingly on the road and then went and sat on a bench in the park. She didn’t know how but the next thing was she was calling Mr.Bajaj. He was surprised to see her number.

“Aap Theek Hai?”

“Haan pata nahin kaise aapko call lag gaya”

Prerna instantly cut the call. After about half an hour she was surprised to find Mr.Bajaj behind her.

He gave her a bottle of water and asked – “Kya hua”

“Mera risk fail ho gaya. Loss Big big loss.”

Rishab smiled.

“Aapko Ghar chod do”.

“Nahin jaana aaj basu bari nahin jaana phir se ek tamasha nahin jhelna nahin hoga mujhse. Aapko waise bhi kahin jaana tha aap kala anewale the. Aap jaiye. Main theek hoon.”

Rishab knew he couldn’t take Prerna where he was going as much as he wanted to take her it would be almost getting too attached and he didn’t want to do it. But looking at the condition of Prerna he couldn’t leave her. So forgetting the pros and cons he decided to take the risk.

“Chaliye.”

“Kaha “

Aap Chaliye. Basu bari to aapko jana nahin hain. Sharma Niwas aap ja nahin sakti to mere saath hi chaliye. I promise aap regret nahin karengi.”
