Maya threw herself on the chair and drank from the glass that sat on the table.

"You ok, boss?" Rudra chuckled as she watched the water seep down Maya's chin inside her blue suit.

"Risha's teacher is a pain in the head!" Rudra did the replacing of 'head' with 'ass' in his mind. Maya had stopped swearing since she was pregnant with Risha, and that was six years ago.

"Now what did she do?"

"She swore, called her classmate a mf" Rudra waited for her to start laughing, say that she was joking, but she huffed instead.

"The teacher must be mistaken, Maya, Rish never swears, we are very careful with that!"

"She must have been Jai, I am sure!" Unlike the rest of the family, Rajeev's boyfriend always thought that expressing oneself with profanities was a real therapy.

"I am going to have a word with him," She mumbled as she pulled the laptop to herself.

In a few seconds, she and Rajeev were having a yelling match, Rajeev defending both Risha and Jai and Maya trying to correct his language.

"So? Who taught you the word?" Maya arched her eyebrow at the five-year-old, who suddenly grew interested in the dal she was having.

"I don't like dal Mumma, give me pizza!" She whined, making Maya look at Rudra.

"It's you who have spoilt her! Look at her, she wants Pizza at 9 in the night,"

"Domino's is open for 24 hours, Mumma," She squeaked from the chair making Rudra chuckle and earn a smack from his wife.

"Rish, baby, tell me where you learned the word from, I promise I'll buy a cheeseburger pizza tomorrow, with extra cheese,"

"I don't remember, Dadda, I said it by mistake when Umang hit me,"

"Why did she hit you?" Maya forgot all about the swear word and sat on her knees infront of her daughter, anger blazing in her eyes.

"Because I didn't give her the chocolate,"

"I'll have a word with that teacher," Maya huffed and stood up, hitting Rudra in his chin, while getting up.

"Oh fu*k!" Rudra yelled, holding his chin, making both, the mother and daughter look at him.

"Maya, sorry na!"

Maya stared at him angrily as he shifted in the small stool that once belonged to Risha, punished to sit in it till the end of the day.

Risha looked at him, came to him, patted his cheek and smiled cheekily.

"I now remember where I heard the word, Mumma,"

Maya pulled another stool and made her sit in it, as a punishment for her cheek.
