No Mother- Nandini Drabble

No parent should bury their kids, they said, and they were wrong, no mother should have to watch thier child be tortured, no mother should forget her child, no mother should be a distant, lost memory for her child.

Nandini had lost her everything, but what broke her the most was the lost gaze Maya gave her as she spoke of Rudra. She pleaded to whatever Gods were listening to her to keep her baby safe as blood drained her wrist, hoping that the blood drew the lines of Maya's escape from this hell as the heaven called her.

No mother should die to help her child escape.
