"What the hell do I pay you for, Aman? Know what? You are fired. Now carry your a** out of my cabin" Arnav lost his temper and screamed at Aman. But to his utmost surprise, Aman didn't budge an inch and instead comfortably settled down on one of the two revolving chairs placed before the working table of Arnav.
"WHAT THE? ARE YOU DEAF OR DO YOU NEED A WRITTEN ORDER? Get out Dammit" Arnav shouted once more, now getting up from his own chair.
"Relax, ASR. You are wasting your energy with all your screaming and shouting. You know this cabin is soundproof. So you aren't going to attract the attention of any of your employees working down there. Plus, if you continue shouting in such high decibels, I'll surely become deaf. And I can bet that's not what you want at this minute. Or, do you?" Aman said in the coolest manner possible, while checking his cell phone for any new messages.
"AMAN MATHUR, I'd like to remind you that I am Arnav Singh Raizada. Your BOSS and I can..."
"Boss? Didn't you fire me a minute back?" Aman questioned with a raised eyebrow, this time looking up to face the wrath filled eyes of Arnav.
"Stop being over smart" Arnav said harshly, once again occupying his chair.
"And you stop being a jerk, ASR. Why are you shouting at me as if I have murdered your only pet?" Aman said with an 'I-am-fed-up' look.
"Then what do I do? You know how badly I need a new PA and you haven't yet advertised the vacancy" Arnav said, seething.
"I did ask a few newspapers but maybe the moron publishers didn't get it in the right part of their brains. They forgot to publish the vacancy in today's print. But Anyway, that's not a big deal. Who wouldn't want to be the Personal Assistant of the "Hot and rich business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada"? You have miles long queue of girls waiting to be your PA, ASR" Aman said, now grinning as he quoted the words from a magazine he had recently read.
"Stop flashing those stained teeth of yours or you'll lose them. You I don't want any random girl as my PA who instead of doing her job will keep simpering idiotically. Got it?" Arnav said sternly.
"Sort of" Aman shrugged his shoulders, grimacing at the mention of his teeth.
"What do you mean by SORT OF?" Arnav was losing his patience with the 'I-am-so-cool' drama of him.
"I mean you want a PA who shouldn't simper idiotically around you but may be vice versa"
"WHAT THE F*** Aman..! This time you are really fired" Arnav said as he got up from his chair and walked up to the chair Aman was seated upon.
"Whatever! This fired poor employee will take your leave now and will again ask the editor of TOI to publish the vacancy" Aman said while getting up from the chair but tripped as Arnav deliberately intruded his shoe between his legs.
"ASR..!" Aman glared him.
"What? I didn't do anything" Arnav said smirking.
"You are so..." Aman started when Akash stepped into the cabin.
"Good Morning, Bhai. Hello, Aman" Akash smiled generously.
"Good Morning, Akash" Arnav wished back while Aman nodded.
"Bhai, I have good news" Akash started.
"Congratulations, Dude! I am really happy for you. Finally, I am going to be an uncle" Aman came forward and hugged Akash.
"Shut it, Aman" Arnav commented while looking with pity at his brother Akash.
"What? Am I not going to be Uncle anytime soon?" Aman asked, glancing to and fro.
"Do shut it, Aman. It's about Bhai's PA. I know a girl who would be best for the job" Akash said with a sour face.
"Oh...I thought you got one of your girlfriends pregnant" Aman said skeptically and noticing the warning look on Arnav's face decided to leave the cabin for his own good.
"Aman" Arnav called from behind.
"Yes?" Aman asked, half turning to him.
"I do NOT own a pet" Arnav finally let out the bubble and Aman laughing loudly, left for his own cabin.
"Bhai, why don't you fire him? He is a pain to be around" Akash said, his face still sour.
"Believe me, Akash. I fire him almost ten times a day. But you know he is my best friend. So, I tolerate him. And apart from that, he is a very great employee. Anyway, forget Aman. You said something about a PA?" Arnav said as he settled back into the chair.
"Yeah, Bhai. I got to know that your previous PA resigned and you urgently need a new one"
"Yes, Akash! I do need a new PA in the next two days as in the upcoming weeks we have several important deals and meetings. And I can't manage everything without a PA. For the same reason, I had asked Aman to find a new one for me, and he had called the editors and asked them to print the vacancy but due to some confusion, they didn't publish the vacancy in today's paper. But Aman will handle it. Don't bother yourself" Arnav said with a pleasing smile.
"No, it's quite okay, Bhai. She is a friend of mine and desperately needs a job due to some financial problems in her family. And I thought maybe you could give her a chance. She is well qualified."
"Okay then, Akash. Ask her to come and meet me in the evening. I'll interview her and then decide"
"Okay sure, Bhai" Akash said and turned to leave the cabin.
"What's her name, by the way?" Arnav asked.
"Sheetal" Akash replied and left.
