Epilogue

The stage was occupied with leaders, dignitaries, higher officials. While the ground before the stage was crowded with citizens of the city, who were gathered to witness the acknowledgement of a successful mission. 

Roli with Sakshi in her lap sat in the front row, accompanied by Nidhi, Tanvi, mausiji and sabita. They were all so happy for the day was indeed a special one. Their dear ones were going to be recognised for their real identity today.  

On the stage, Pratap took over the podium and started addressing the crowd. Giving a brief description of their mission and how they dealt with veeru's illegal businesses, Pratap informed that the city was now free of any black marketing. 

As he called out for the team specially appointed for the mission, who successfully achieved it, crowd almost went crazy to see Sid and his gang climbing on to the stage in uniform. 

"The special officers who have done a tremendous job in achieving this success" Pratap looked at Sid and others as he spoke. 

"Siddhant bharadwaj, assistant commissioner of police" he declared with much pride. While the crowd off the stage started cheering and clapping. 

Soon the ground was filled with appreciations and cheering as they declared the identity of Sid and his gang. After a few speeches from the officials, the ceremony reached its end. 

Roli got up holding Sakshi in her arms as Sid walked towards them amongst the crowd. 

"Papa!" Sakshi called out excitedly. 

Making his way out of the crowd, Sid reached roli while Sakshi jumped in to his arms. 

"Wow! Papa, you're a police officer" said Sakshi, clapping her hands. Sid smiled at his little girl and kissed her. 

Then they all returned home to make preparations for sunny and Nidhi's marriage. This time it wasn't simple but a grand one. 

Not just sunny and Nidhi, even Roli and Sid's remarriage was also planned on the same day. As Sid had promised to recreate the memories for roli, he even wanted to recreate their marriage. Thus, he planned for their remarriage. 

With Tanvi being pregnant, roli and Nidhi didn't let her do any work and managed to prepare everything on their own. While Tanvi could only play with Sakshi as they worked. 

On the day of marriage, roli was getting ready in the room. Sid entered the room quietly and back hugged her. 

Roli gasped while Sid nudged his face in to the crook of her neck as he inhaled her perfume. 

"What are you doing?" Roli could bearly utter those words as his touch made her senses numb. 

Without speaking, Sid turned her to face him and cupped her face in between his palms. 

"Today you'll become mine again" Sid said in a husky voice and placed a kiss on her forehead and then gently pecked her lips. 

"Let's go before we get late" pushing him away slightly, roli held his arm and started walking. While Sid shook his head with a smile as it was her routine to escape from his romance. 

Sitting in the middle of the beautifully decorated mandap, Roli and Sid; Sunny and Nidhi performed all the rituals and took blessings from elders.

A few months passed. Tanvi delivered a baby boy. They held a cradle ceremony for the baby and named him Rohan.  

At evening, Sid was sitting in the bed with the laptop, seemed to be working something. Roli was folding clothes and arranging in the wardrobe.  

Sakshi returned to the room after playing with Rohan. She got really fond of the baby and wouldn't leave the baby alone. 

"You came back. I was about to come to bring you" roli closed the wardrobe and picked up her daughter. 

"Enough of playing. You should sleep now. You've to go to school tomorrow right" roli sat on bed and tried to make Sakshi sleep. 

"Mumma, I don't want to go to school tomorrow" Sakshi said, waving her hands in the air. 

"Why?" Queried roli. While Sid continued to do his work as he listened to them talking. 

"I want to play with Rohan baby" Sakshi said innocently. 

"You can play even after coming from school" roli cupped Sakshi's face and said. 

"But, Rohan is always sleeping after I return from school. So, I will stay at home and play with him" Sakshi said earnestly, making Sid chuckled. 

"No. You should go to school" roli was being a strict mother. 

"Mumma, please" Sakshi asked in a pleading tone. 

"You don't need to take leave for that. You can play as much as you want once the baby grew up okay" roli patiently explained to her daughter. 

"Papa" Sakshi turned to Sid for help. Even Sakshi knew it, as long as her papa would agree, her mumma couldn't deny it. Sure enough, Sid looked at Sakshi and smiled which meant he was with her. 

"Yeayy!" Sakshi jumped excitedly and hugged Sid. 

"But, only for one day" Sid hugged his baby and said. Sakshi nodded in agreement while Roli sighed shaking her head. 

Outsiders might think that Roli would be lenient towards their daughter while Sid would be strict. But, the fact was in contrary. Roli would sometimes act strict as she wouldn't want to spoil her daughter while Sid could never say no to whatever his daughter would ask for. 

"But, it doesn't mean you would play now. Come and sleep" roli said while Sakshi and Sid giggled. 

Like an obedient kid, Sakshi went near Roli, who made her to lay down. Covering them with a blanket, Sid switched off the lights, turned to them and started telling a story as he would always do.

A/N : And finally! After almost three years, i have finished this story. This is my first ever ff on RoSid! I still remember how nervous i was when i started it in 2017. I don't know how far i could entertain you guys through my story. There were many times i lost track and faced writer blocks but, still managed to give it a happy finishing somehow. 

Thank you so much each and every one of you for sticking to my story all these days; years actually! if it wasn't for your support, i would have left writing long back. So, a big thank you wala hug to all of you

If everything goes well and as per my planning, i might return to you guys with one more mafia story hopefully soon. I'm not gonna let you people live peacefully and im sorry for that
