Summary: Life has never been this easy to embrace, Khushi mused as she walked to their room after changing into a nightgown. As she watched her husband still sprawled on the recliner with a laptop open in his lap, she flared her nostrils in exasperation before an idea entered her mind and she smiled wickedly. With a sudden sway to her hips, she walked in front of Arnav making as much noise as possible and when she realized that she had his attention, she sat down in front of the dressing table. Her movements were deliberately slow as she took off her bangles and then as she bent down to take off her anklets, she ignored the loose strap of her nightgown slipping from her shoulder to her arms before straightening at last moment and hastily placing it back, hiding her smile as she heard a sharp intake of breath behind her.
Author's Note: Author's Note: Well, I have nothing to say about this story except that it's the most difficult and intense story I ever wrote. I thought when I will write this note, I will say this and that but words will never be enough for expressing what I felt whenever I thought about this story. It was just...different. Arnav's mistakes and pain, Khushi's determination, Anjali and Shyam's difficult love story and Payal-Akash as a couple, I wrote everything with so much care that I don't remember pouring all my heart on anything like this ever. Now, I want to hear from my readers about what they think about the whole story. Just one time, can you all please tell me? Even if it's just a word, I just want to know that my story deserves at least this much. I will be waiting, Aditi.
