Zee TV back at its second position

GEC channels of Television are getting themselves indulged in a tough competition to grab more and more TRP ratings and to acquire a high position on the TRP charts.  The shows try to give the best content to stay in this race.

Every week the result of their hard work is reflected on the TRP charts, where the positions of the channel keep on changing.

Here is the biggest example. Zee TV for quite a long time was on the 2^nd position but Colors channel which was shuffling between 3^rd and 4^th position, played well and grabbed the second position pushing Zee TV to the third. This was probably because one of the most controversial shows on Colors,  Bigg Boss 8 grabbed all the attention of the audience. Other than that, daily soaps like; Udann, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and Sasural Simar Ka have also acquired good TRP ratings. But after Bigg Boss 8 got over, the channel was points ahead of Zee TV and finally this week it got back to its third position with the TRP rating of 203. Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which has taken the time slot of Bigg Boss has not been able to create its effect on the audience, probably because it has just started. Hopefully it will manage to pull the audience, as seen in the past, Historical and Mythological shows have always managed to get good TRP ratings for the channels.

Talking about Zee TV, the channel has acquired more than an average TRP rating to manage its position and was doing good. But for the past few weeks, the channel has surpassed Colors. Zee TV's USP is the content of the shows which keep their audience glued to the Television screens . Shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Doli Armaanon Ki, Jamai Raja and more have never failed to woo their audience. Even when the channel was pushed to the third position, the content of the show didn't change and continued to show better content. Now the channel has regained its position with a TRP rating of 209 and we hope that it continues to maintain the same.
