Zeb Khan and Rucha Hasabnis shoot for a short film

The short film that revolves around female foeticide will be shown across Indian villages and at an Italian film festival too.

Zeb Khan and Rucha Hasabnis had recently shot for a short film, directed by Vidya Sagar whose last film was titled 'Gateway to heaven' which won 7 awards.

According to our sources, the short film will also feature Yatin Karyekar and Smita Oak who will play the role of Zeb's parents. The story of the film revolves around female foeticide. The in-laws demand a boy from their daughter in-law, failure to do so, they will make her abort the child.

Suraj aka Zeb and Rucha aka Bhavna are lovers who get married. Although Suraj loves his wife, he is helpless since it is the mother who makes the decisions.

When we called Zeb Khan, he told us, "Yes I recently returned after shooting the short film. At the moment I am trying my luck in movies so this was obviously a great experience. I thoroughly loved it since I got the chance to work with very talented people".

The short film maybe be shown in Italy for a festival as well as around 140 villages in India to create awareness.
