Zalak Thakkar battles with her books..

Zalak Thakkar who charmed her fans as the innocent Bhumika in the Star Plus show Saarthi is busy with her books these days, as she is appearing for her final year graduation exams.

"Yes, I am appearing for my final year; my exams have already started. I have my last paper on April 18th. Earlier, I used to shoot day and night for my shows, but now you will find me studying all round the clock (smiles). I have prepared very well, and do not have any fear whatsoever. I know I will do well, and am expecting very good marks", quips a very confident Zalak.

Zalak was recently seen in NDTV Imagine's Chand Ke Paar Chalo, where she played the lead protagonist Anisha. On the show, the actress states, "It was very sad that Chand Ke Paar ended. I agree that initially the track was way too slow and did not appeal to the viewers. But later, the track got changed and it started doing well; but unfortunately we were not given another chance to deliver and the show got shut".

Ask her what will interest her next on television, and Zalak chides, "I am looking for a great role in Television. I am also eyeing Bollywood, but will never leave my television platform, as I got my first break here".

As of now, we hope Zalak passes out with flying colors in her ongoing exams!!
